i used to use ntuc diaper for jodie during the day. quite soft, but the adhesive not so good.
heard bliss using giant, it's much better. cheaper also. but i still use nepia at nite.

Actually I went for a scan during my 6wks at KK 24hrs due to some lower discomfort and doc saw 2 sacs. One sac has very healthy heartbeat while he could not detect HB for the other sac. He said the size is smaller too. I believe this is what they refers at "Vanishing Twins Syndrome".
Actually, was happy but sad today. Happy to see my baby and baby's healthy heartbeat, on the other felt sad about losing the other one. Dr Loh did says, this is common during first trimester and it is a relief because if it happens in 2nd trimester then things will not be good.
Anyway, I'm really happy that I'm able to see my baby and baby's heartbeat. What I went thru is definitely worth it. Really love looking at the scan and I hope my baby will continue to grow healthy.. hee hee...

Thanks! I am glad that baby is now growing well. The scan shows baby's size is 11mm, which is 1.1cm. That's consider normal right?
I checked babycenter.co.uk and they indicate that baby at 7 wks is about 1cm, size of a grape. Hehe.. Will continue to talk to baby.. hopefully baby won't find me too talkative cause I talk to baby about every 2 mins

yes, I also find that nepia is quite gd, my bb has been using it since born. The material and cutting are comfortable to put on, bb wont feel warm or sweaty or sticky wearing it. But then my Teng teng pee quite a lot since 2nd month, so I still need to change the diaper in the night a couple of times.

both of you tried mamy poko or pampers before? i didn't have to wake up at night to change diaper. My boy used to pee quite alot as well. Just need to put on the diaper rash cream such as desitin to ensure no rashes.

Lina, i am also not getting baby swaddle wrap.. friend advised us to use the diaper cloth which is more cooling since we dun intend to let our bb sleep in aircon room
btw, anyone of u place small pillow filled with small beans on the chest of ur bb when bb sleeps? heard it will give bb a "secured" & "warm" feeling as if he is in e womb.. what beans to use huh, green beans can? my friend used the bean sprout black shell

how are you? i got those small bassinet that comes with vibration and music. My room could not fit in a cot or playpen so no choice got to get this. I bought mama love brand 2nd hand from another mom in this forum. You could find something similar at kk shop near the pharmacy or baby hyperstore kaki bukit.

Oh yes, the beansprout pillow can be made from the bean sprout black shell, just need to sun it then can made into bolster and pillow. This kind of pillow is believed that can calm the baby down.

Teng teng used newborn size nepia and both small size and some medium size drypers and petpet diapers in his 1st month. After 1st month, he started using Giant diapers(M size) in the day and nepia diapers(M size)at nite.
I cant remember clearly how many diapers Teng teng used in his 1st n 2nd month, but babies who are breastfed poo more times, about 8 to 10 diapers per day, so max about 300 diapers in 30 days! Dont have to get so many ready, can buy more once the diapers you are having now are finishing.
As for the beansprouts pillow, you can buy from those baby shops or SMH bulk purchase. No need to buy too exp ones, ard $10 per pillow is good enough. Making on your own will be bit more time consuming. If your mum or mil can make it for bb will be better..kekeke...

I cant remember clearly how many diapers Teng teng used in his 1st n 2nd month, but babies who are breastfed poo more times, about 8 to 10 diapers per day, so max about 300 diapers in 30 days! Dont have to get so many ready, can buy more once the diapers you are having now are finishing.
As for the beansprouts pillow, you can buy from those baby shops or SMH bulk purchase. No need to buy too exp ones, ard $10 per pillow is good enough. Making on your own will be bit more time consuming. If your mum or mil can make it for bb will be better..kekeke...
As for the beansprouts pillow, other than shop, you can purchase it from the market. There are those aunties who sell bean sprout, bean curd etc, they usually sell off the black shell, at my area they are selling at $3 per packet. And if you want them to make pillow, it is ard $9. I think most of the market they have this service.

Thanks everybody for the well-wishes. i am now into my 3rd week of confinement... will end on 17th sept, feeling v hot and pek chek... But have started bathing and washing hair so far 2x since day 12 with herbal water. Mum says i cant be on the PC and stressing my eyes during confinemnt, so I am now doing it on the sly when she is out...
Bbs were delivered at week 32 and are growing everyday and doing fine in NICU. They are at abt 1.6kg and 1.3kg...starting to bottle feed now..Can only be discharged prob 4-6 weeks after 19Aug.
