Hi, I am wondering if anyone had heard / done IVF at JB Medini (Gleneagles)? Heard that the founding / leading team member is also the same Prof Ng from Sincere (Novena Medical). Hoping to get some feedback on this !thanks!

Context : I’ve done one round of IVF in JB but was unsuccessful. Looking to find another Dr. Not considering any in Sg as we would like to do PGTA.

Hi, can you share your experience tied to this suggestion please? Personally have come here before but didn't get a good impression. Pricing is also not transparent/published anywhere in the clinic/online. Was told by the reception that whatever price the doctor wrote for us on a post-it note would be the actual price.

Was also pre-empted with a 30% price increase from June 2026 onwards.

Alright I do understand your concern about Dr Tan's approach, I wasn't too sure what experience you encountered, but i can tell you that Dr Tan, he is very experienced on this (IVF). He is the type of task and result-oriented person, his mind spins very fast sometimes and he speaks to us as if we were just like in his profession in fact we are not and he speaks so briefly that we need reassurance on what he mean by asking him again. My advice to you better to do your own study first before going and see him. I would suggest you to watch YouTube "Dr Randy Morris" he has a series about IVF and fertility topics and it is short and easy to understand and it is not long winded and story-like. And note that Randy Morris himself is a practitioner for IVF I have personally watched and studied his approach and they are all genuine.

As for pricing we spent for IVF itself ranging RM32k++ (Medication +OPU+ FET+ semen analysis + women screening) and PTG-A depends on how many blastocyst you have, we have 5 blastocysts for test and my wife and I also agreed on adding AI camera incubation lab during the fertilization process to monitor our embryo growth process. PTG-A RM12,600+ AI incubation RM2,000 total RM 14,600. We succeed in our IVF treatment my wife now already pregnant and with that we need to continue some of the medication so far after FET medication and screening cost about RM3k. meaning to say we already Spend about RM50k. I believe the medication only be needed for 1st trimester maybe all in, by end 1st trimester will cost another us about RM2-3k. So whole treatment in total will be around RM50-55k.

Just to give an idea that every woman is different, depends on your age and depends on your condition, some may have their own complications, so the screening, treatment and increased dosage/frequency of medication will cost differently or more. as for my case actually we have fewer issue. My wife overall is very healthy, our issue is my sperm has weak motility (less aggressive) so we need ICSI (IVF) to get my sperm into the egg, other than that morphology or sperm count all are fine. I also did some studies the medicine/Jap from Dr Tan is more reliable and more advanced. Meaning it will cost more for the treatment.

Other than the cost you also need to be concerned about time for yourself getting ready and getting enough rest, when I did my sperm DNA analysis I know my problem I quickly adjust my lifestyle, and start supplement as man's sperm regenerate almost every 67days or 3 months. same goes for my wife we eat healthy and put ourself in relax mode. Before FET or ER my wife already took leave rest for about 3-4 days before FET & ER and after FET & ER she rest about a week or 2. Please note that if you from Singapore i will advise you to stay nearby AIRBNB R&F will be a good place or place that can get you food ,groceries or clinic as long as everything just at your doorsteps (less travel). Why you need to rest after ER, not only tired any your abdomen some how will feel cramp and discomfort (post ER effect depends on individual my wife took a week rest due to pain and cramp. or you better arrange a proper transportation and go back SG during the off peak period.

In short - Dr Tan he himself very much involved in each case he treats every case a success outcome, he may be rushed due to his character but he is very precise as well. In terms of cost if something that can give you a higher chance of success in the first cycle I believe it is worth for the money.
