The waiting is hard, for some reason I cannot sleep at night and I twisted my neck cos I was too consious of not sleeping on my tummy.. arrgh.. Also been having weird weird dreams.. very clear vivid dreams that I can still remember all the details.
How does intralipid work? Where do you do this session at? Isit very expensive? May I also check who is not suitable for intralipid?

Hi Ladies.. Im taking Blackmores Conceive Gold, CoQ10 and Folate to prepare for my FET, scheduled in 1-2 mths time. After starting on Conceive Gold, i felt nauseous and bloated, whereas I have no issues with CoQ10 and Folate as I have been taking it for some time alr. Can I check if its advisable to take Conceive Gold at night instead. so then I wont feel like dying at work
Some prenatals can make you nauseous. You can try Vitamin Code Raw Prenatals. I took it and find that it doesn't give me nausea.

It is a measure to counter possibly elevated NK cells (autoimmune disorder) in the womb which abnormally attack the embryo.
I did my intralipid infusion treatments at dr Loh's O&G Specialist Clinic at TMC. Per session of about 100ml is about $200+. I would need to have one session a few days before ET or on same day as ET after ET, then when confirmed bfp, one more session at week 6. I read some patients may require more sessions beyond that depending on doc's advice. However I'm not sure as to which conditions are not suitable for this treatment.

It's about $40 for each session of acupuncture for me. Some say theirs only $30. Perhaps my treatment is different. Then around $10 per day for medication...
I go twice a week for acupuncture plus daily med = approx. $600 per month?
I've been going for around 2.5 months. Starting my first fresh next week.

Depends on which day. I'm here right now. Lol. Came for 730pm appointment on time and I'm was next in queue for consultation. But had to wait around 10 min for a bed for acupuncture. So this is a good day.
Fridays are a little packed. Weekends are still okay but also have to wait a bit.
One thing to take note though, is to count the packets of medication dispensed by the uncle at the reception. He blur blur one, gave me wrong med twice already.

hi girls,
just to share. i will be doing ivf with pgd in nuh soon. the cost is very high!! the nurse working out our finances with us shared that it usually costs an ADDITIONAL 10k or more for 1 fresh ivf with pgd cycle. that works out to about 20-24k per cycle altogether including the original IVF costs. and there are no extra subsidies.
i understand from my dr that it can only be done in 3 public restructured hospitals, sgh, kkh and nuh. it is however, only for those with genetic issues. i have a very rare balanced chromosome issue and suffered two miscarriages in succession, so i insisted my dr run a whole battery of tests for me even though he was trying to assure me that having two miscarriages is quite 'normal'. i did the entire miscarriage profiling and both my husband and i did the chromosome karyotyping, costs us quite a hefty sum, can't rmbr exactly, but i would estimate it as about 3k.

mine took 6 weeks after both my mcs. but my cycles are usually 33-35 days, so pretty long.
Cos I low amh. They need more Eggs to work on it n long cycle work for me.

A sister told me at tmc pgd was 5k and ivf 20k and she paid 25k. She did karyoting and had issues thus did pgd and now preggy.
I have utilize my 15k ivf grant from govt so believe no more got funding and all shud be hard cash. I am seeing dr choolani to run all the tests needed after period. He estimated 4k. After that will decide whether to do cycle with pgd coz they said if karyotype pass chances are pgd is like a second level check which can be omitted. I thought karyotype fail end of world no more chance to conceive but glad to understand from sisters here that still can do pgd to pick normal embryos.

Hi just to clarify, how is karyotype done? Is it done on the passed out fetus or can only be done if there's a d&c? For me when I passed out a huge blood clot at Nuh A&E, the report came back only saying it contains fetal tissues but they didn't do any test to see whether got chromosome abnormalities.

my mc was 8-9 weeks both times. both times saw a heartbeat, but baby still didn't survive.
yes i failed my karyotyping, so i must do pgd now. hope i can at least get one or two embryos with normal chromosomes!
i did a karyotyping for myself and my husband, both through blood test. it costs about 1200+ for the both of us. i also did a karyotyping of the fetus the second time i had a mc. i did a d&c so they just collect the fetal tissue for testing, costs 500+. you need to request for a karyotyping of the fetus if you want it done.

Sad to say... I don't even know when bb stop growing. Never had a chance to see the bb or heartbeat during all my scans. After my 2nd scan (10 jun), Dr Tan is convince that bb stop growing and given me option of natural mc medication or d&c. Then I start bleeding although not heavy but not a good sign. 2 days later pass out clot went to nuh a&e, although sac still there but can't see bb still. Went for another scan on 16 jun, nothing still. Hubby keep asking to go for d&c but I refuse. 3 days pass out a relatively big clot went to kkh 24 hours thinking it is bb but it is not. But sac is in irregular shape. Saw Dr tan on the following day and he confirmed my bb stop growing and schedule for a d&c.. he said it's 2nd mc so suggest to check on the chromosome.
Did u go for any scan? Maybe the clot pass out is not bb?

I Guess no cause of alarm.. After all with IVF, we are taking all sorts of hormones.. Most people won't have zun zun cycle anymore
yes I agree that the cycle is so messed up.. it's already been 3 months since I have stopped with anything hormonal so I'm little paranoid when I get menses twice in a month!

@Mrs Chan00 sorry to hear that. On 20 June I went to see dr loh and he scanned and dated me 5wk2d and can see sac. On 21 Jun abt 2am I had heavy bleed. Then on 21 Jun I went mount E where they did scan and still saw sac and dr also said sac looks irregular shape. Then I came home abt 4pm pass out clot. When I saw Dr tan on 24 jun he did scan and could not find anything. So I believe expelled liao. Dr tan said Wait for natural mc and take antibiotics. Am going for hcg again at dr choolani thu sat. Think the progesterone has to wear off before af.
