Thanks @happy0341 . Good luck to u too. This is my first Fet. Successfully conceived in my first fresh but failed second fresh. Hoping to give my boy a sibling this round. Dr tan is a very good doctor. Just that I always have problem with the transfer and needed a long time. Dr Tan always say mine is a difficult transfer. Haha

@char-mee ,no need to worry abt that too much. I tested negative thrice when I used the ovulation kit but the doc who reviewed said no need to worry too much as they also need at the lining and the size of the follicle to determine if u have indeed ovulated.

Thanks. i tried the kit 3 times and negative too. will see what doc says at tmr scan.

Hi ladies, I am back from my review with Dr THH today. Most of the conversation was about blastocyst. He suggest blastocyst and gave me a detailed explanation. He advise either I use 4 D3 embryos to cultivate or use my all 6 D3 embryos to cultivate to D5. Think will just use all.

@mesara he told me he will be away for abt 2 weeks in end of August. I will wait for his return to do my et. So my fet will be delayed till my menses to come end of August then do my natural fet with him.

Oh he is gonna be away ar. But Ai might induce menses early late Jul or early aug. Do u knw when he's away exactly gal. My transfer is complicated. Maybe I shud do medicated tho he suggested natural as he is going to be away....

@happy0341 , @codomo, how old are your kid? Mine is turning three and I m turning 40 next year. So just one last time. This is our first Fet and we have one survivor out of the two frozen embryo. Can only hope for the best. Hubby keeps asking me to go for one last fresh cycle but I m very scared as I have very bad embryo transfer experience. Dr sadhana had to come in to assist for my first transfer and this round dr tan almost need to put me on GA as it took too long. So we dare not have high hope and at least we have tried our best.

Hi ringbell, my boy is 2.5 yrs old now.. Btw, after ET, do u still carry ur boy? Mine keep asking me to carry.. I didnt have much symptons at all.. Act i dun hv much confidence in FET..

My girl is 2.5yrs... I conceived her on my first fresh. Subsequently, I did twice fet but unsuccessful.
Now is my 2nd fresh with no frozen, dunno why different so much as compared to first fresh. Maybe of my age.
I also dun have symptoms now... only cramping for the past 2days.

@happy0341 , yes I still carry him after transfer but i try to reduce the number of times. very difficult to avoid carry him totally as he prefers me over his daddy. My hubby will help me to carry him most of time. Is this your first Fet? I have no symptom other than cramping which I suspect is due to ET. Are you going back to work soon? Sometimes I wonder if it is better to go back to work as we will not think too much at home

@codomo, did dr tan change the cycle for you? My first cycle was long protocol and we had two embryo but zero frozen. Result was a boy. He asked me to do short protocol in my second fresh. Ended up with 2 embryo transferred and another two freezed. But didn't make it. Sometimes I wonder it could be the medication. Of course our age plays s major factor. Dr Tan always tell me that the earlier to go for IVF the better. When is your blood test? Re u going back to work?

I'm also trying to give my 2yo girl a sibling. Just failed my 3rd fresh. Planning to go for FET probably end of the year. But will decide only after seeing Dr. Matthew.

No, this is my 2nd FET. I failed my 1st fet last yr from the 1st fresh. This is the 2nd cycle le. April i failed my fresh cycle. I have no cramping at all. Me going back to work tom already. Actually i also didnt rest much. Fri after ET i went lunch with my hubby followed by some light shopping and today i went Jb..
 
I see that they are many who had already 1 kid and had difficulties trying for a 2nd one.
Same here. I had my gal through my first ivf in 2009. First try and hit jackpot. Then when my gal is older and hub and I wanted to try for another one but each time the results were devastating. I've finally succeeded on my 5th fresh! Sometimes I wonder how I make it to the 5th fresh...haha! i dun have any frozen embryo in all my try so each time was a fresh cycle for me...
So ladies, please dun give up! Continue and press on and you will see light at the end of the tunnel soon... Like me. :) Jia you!!

Wow. I got my girl thru my 2nd fresh cycle. Failed the FET and 3rd fresh in trying to have another child. I still have 3 frozen embryos. If those fail, I don't think I can afford to do any fresh cycles under private... I heard each cycle is like $20k...
 
wow amazing that so many willing to try ivf for 2nd child. great mums... for now I'm only more than contented just to hv a child. think coz not getting younger, hitting 40 in few years. In any case it's heartwarming to know we are all working hard to get bring a new lives to this world. Jiayous!!
 
Wow so many of us here are trying for our child. Let's keep a positive mindset.

@happy0341 , I still drink a bit of coffee after ET. After ET, I try to eat more and take nutritious food like egg, chicken essence, durian and some Brazilian nuts. As for resting, a bit difficult to rest when u have a toddler running around.

Go for your frozen cycle first. Who knows they are waiting for u .

when i was doing IUI under Dr sf loh, the clinic gave me a list of things dos n don'ts. include reducing caffeine intake as it affects foetus growth.

Hi, depending on which private clinic u go to and the medication u need to take. It may be below 20k.
 
Anyone experience calf sore during 2ww? N anyone bfp w/o spotting? Im in my 10dpt2dt...no spotting except mild cramps for past few days...but no more cramp since yest...now like totally no more symptoms..:(

Hope for the best n prepare for the worst...

still not ovulating but lining is now 8.4mm & a follicle is 17mm. maybe my low impact exercises helped, been doing cross trainer n brisk walking. keeping fingers crossed.

Does that mean we can still take caffeine? I'm on my first fresh and on long protocol. Should start the FSH this Wednesday. But I have avoided coffee and tea for a few weeks. But now I'm so craving for one.. and I'm scared to take. :-/

@char-mee Are u on natural fet now? Your follicle size and lining is gd. So I believe your ET should be soon. Are u transferring blastocyst? How many embryos did u use to culture to D5?

Jas same as you.. I even feel like my womb is empty.. My previous bfp cycle I can feel the heaviness and pulling sensation but now nothing. I tell myself maybe I rest more so don't feel much?
