Yup off these period but I have a scheduled cruise coming sun to next thu. (Coincidently I was given next fri for my BT) Intend to proceed along don't waste it but just concern in the event there's bleeding next week haha but well, I guess just 顺其自然 and handle what it's comes next.

Must lie down after inserts for how long? I saw got 1 afternoon slot de,no wonder they give hl till 2 weeks..Haha yessss.. I think it's more tedious than injection days
I normally lie for an hour...but mine is only twice a day...

I was wondering abt that when the ladies here told me to request for hl till blood test. I guess sitting also works but lying down would be more comfy. Wonder would anyone leave me alone for an hour in office? Not that i am wanted all the time, but things always happen at the most inappropriate hour.

Can do in office toilet just lift a leg up on the toilet seat n u can insert. After that walk to your workstation n sit for 20 mins. Should be fine.

For FEt, they norm give 3 days MC only. But if u request, they can give til BT date. I wld b back to work for a couple of days during 2ww, so kkh nurse said, juz insert & sit for 20 to 30mins. So I m gg to insert bef my lunch & sit stil thru lunch (I lunch in with my colleagues ta bao for me)., mayb can try if possible..

Progrsterone pressaries. There are 2 kinds. My fresh cycle i was given the ones that look like little round balls. Fet i was given cyclogest which looks like a bullet. My friend says that looks like her son's fever medicine. Inserted vaginally or rectally.

They say at least 15 mins. Nurse told me some went back to work and they can do it in the washroom.. Confirmed not my cup of tea...

It's two small balls but well for me.. If can choose I opt for the injections ;p
Descriptions says coated with 'peanut oil' so by right it should be smooth to insert.

It seems that nuh give different protocol.
After ER, I have to insert 3 times a day, 3 different types.
Morning:
Utrogestan (white round pills)100mg x3pills
Mid-day:
Crinone gel (stick applicator) + Estrofem (pink flat pills) 1mg x4 pills
Night:
Utrogestan (white round pills)100mg x3pills
Am I being overdosed??

I think the conclusion is, is it useful? This is something you have to ask yourself. If I am successfully pregnant after taking these medicine, I would say the medicine is useful. If I am not, the medicine is useless. Ok, I will give it a second go. If second time still the same, I conclude it's totally useless. You have to be mindful what you are taking and whether if it helps. Second opinion is always helpful.
FET required insert??OMG..scare scare..
I left with one frozen embryo, will be doing FET after consult with doc..
Not that bad. First few times may feel awkward but after that it is fine. Keep your fingernails short though. Otherwise not very pleasant to push in.

Same acupuncture points that I experienced in TCM clinic, except the back, I got less needles (roughly 6-8 needles) on my lower back than the picture shown. For the legs, I had G point and another one the calves which is not explained. The TCM dr did not prick on H point.

Think different clinic differs for e inserts. I wad given 1 x crinone support per day at a private clinic for my previous 1st fresh cycle

Rest rest and rest.
Follow your heart. No point stressing abt it and do something against what your heart says. If it feels right on day of appmt, go. If not, just cancel. if you feel you want to do it to feel u have done all you need to do, then go. If it stresses you out, then don't.
Did you do it on your other cycles?

Does embrogen only work at fertilisation stage? sorry cant help but i know alot do d2 transfer. How long is she away for? If you have a few embbies, any chance of doing a d4 instead?
My #1 was conceived wif a day 2 transfer Cux the rest of the embbies CMI. But that's w/o embryogen. Usually they say that wif embroygen it's a d2-d4 transfer. But the previous cycle was a day 3..
Never mind..I will just go for it Cux only she knows whr she did the endoscratch and maybe day2 is a luckier day for me..

Hi hi I'm new to this chat grp & IVF. I'm with Dr Loh @ TMC who recommended SO IUI. We tried last mth but failed. I find that Dr Loh wasn't very clear in his explanation. He said he cannot explain why it was not successful coz everything looks good during the procedure. I'm thinking if I shd continue IUI or shd move to IVF. How do your decide? What do your ask your gynae? I'm clueless what to ask...

I believe Dr Loh was being honest when he said he could not explain why the procedure was not successful. Very often no one knows the exact cause of a treatment failing, and there could be multiple possible causes in theory. You'd have to do detailed testing to narrow down on the most likely cause(s), and even that is usually only a probability, not a certainty. Just like when people go for IVF, everything looks promising (good eggs, sperm and embryos, good uterus) but they still BFN and no one knows why the embryos failed to implant. On whether to stay with IUI or move on to IVF, I think the one of the most important deciding factors should be your age, i.e. woman's age. If you're nearing or past 35, you should go for IVF to save time as it generally has higher chance of success than IUI. Then it's followed by other existing medical conditions, such as PCOS etc. that may cause you to stand a better chance with IVF. You should also consider your financial circumstances. If you do IVF, do you want to stick with private clinic or are you okay with government hospital, the latter in which you can enjoy government subsidies for the treatments and drugs if you/your spouse is a citizen/PR. You can ask the gynae straight up for their opinion on what they think the next best step for you should be, and the reasons.
