Was d&c painful n is it performed sedated?? Hw long mc after tat?? After hy many cycle did u try again gal??
 
My first mc was d&c and you won't feel a thing as it's GA. I was at 13 weeks. 2nd mc was about 5-6 weeks and doc adviced natural expel. Just normal light af cramp for me. I didn't need any painkillers. After an mc, my af came about 6 weeks later. Doc adviced after one af cycle can ttc again. After my d&c I had the 2nd bfp less than 4 months after.

I was sedated but horrible feeling as the nurse saw me in tears n still ask me is it I didn't take care myself... I stopped my tears when gynae start sedate then everything black out. I rem I did in may then holiday I'm july before I try fet but bfn . Suppose start fresh cycle in jan but chief embryologist away till cny so I only start my cycle in mid Feb this year.
Meanwhile u go see tcm tiao ur body cos mc aso quite damaging to our body. Though I did mini confinement, I can feel I get sick easily after tat
My dr gave me 2 weeks hl after dnc..
 
Dear sisters, may I know how many of you are in tww now? I m curious what food that u all prepare for this two wk?
I'm having cereal with milk for my breakfast, lunch will be salmon and vege. Also prepared some snack like Brazil nuts, dried cranberries, walnut.
I also prepared kiwi, blue berries. Avoid coffee and tea in tww. What else u all are taking?
 
Mesara, am so sorry for ur loss n i really feel for u.
pls don't blame urself and think that its something u hv done or could hv avoided.
Like what babysparkle had mentioned, its very likely thats e loss is due to some chromosomal defects.
everything happens for a reason, much as we cant comprehend, maybe its for e best. Perhaps god is trying to prevent an even bigger tragedy
that's how i learnt to deal with e loss n grief of my stillborn boy.
 
I did d&c in all my miscarriages. Wait for bleeding to flush it out is an agony. And it can take a few days to wks for the remains to come out completely. Worse still if is not completely out, still need d&c. ALso bleeding may still hv bad cramps not to mention tt we will be emotionally unstable during this period. D&c not painful coz sediated. Wake up, agony all over

I m one classic case, stop support wun bleed also. Can even wait for 2 wks thereafter for dr loh to b bk fr overseas biz trip.

Thanks for support sisters. I will request fir d&c as my normal menses is a big nightmare. Can faint. Can't imagine miscarriage pain n bleeding. Will request dr tan to do it asap so that I can recover n start next cycle soon. Already past mid thirties n this will be my third fresh. I have one satisfactory grade embryo with nuh but none in kkh.

But i agree everything happens for a reason. better to happen now than later when everything is formed. the pain will be so difficult to swallow later.

I did the med option, cause I had no choice. It took me 4 weeks to AF. Cramps was worse than my usual AF. Also, have to wait 3 months for the meds to clear from body system.

Gal u mean after d&c af didnt come n u had to induce?? D&c means washing it clean right. U mean not good to have lining thick so he gave duphaston to clear one more time? ?
 
Mesara, we are all different and can see that those went thru mc had different experiences. It will be good you discuss with you doc tomorrow on what's the best way for your own unique condition. I read most ladies here prefer non natural pass out (with their own personal reasons) but my last mc, being very early stage almost like yours, my doc was confident the sac would be passed out by its own. i agreed to take that route because I wanted as simple as possible. True enough within 2 weeks it was expelled naturally, with no discomfort. After that I went for review scan and doc said it's very clean inside. I was glad I didn't use medicine or anything.

Discuss with your doc will be best.
 
everyone's body is different. My menses wun come also after d&c. Dun forget there's alot of hormones in our body.

Dun worry, only need some hormones tablet to reset our cycle usually if the following mth menses dun come and all will be back to normal.

I hv been thru worse than menses dun come. Just be patient for things to go bk to normal. Sometimes, things cannot b rushed. That's wat i hv learnt

Hi redvel/ miaoling/ mesara,

I had my review with dr loh this afternoon. The scan shows that beanie is approx 6wks 4days; abt 3 days off from my 7 weeks. We saw fetal pole and heard the thumping heartbeats. Although i already saw a very faint pulse last week but i was still very surprised by the sound of beanie's heart thumping.

DH and I are both pleased and relief that i hv cleared another stage. We remain cautiously positive about this pregnancy at this point and thank God for his blessing so far.

Dr loh has stopped my proluton jab for this week and i need not continue with intralipid treatment. (I forgot to ask him why.) However, i am to continue with duphaston, progynova and utrogeston daily.

Drs will tell you that regular testing for bhcg may not be very necessary but i believe in having a peace of mind. Do what you think will set yr mind at ease. I used to poas daily and go for regular hcg in the first 2 weeks of my bfp.

Do you will feel tummy tight? I am always my tummy is tight then continue will be 腰酸.

I do feel bloated but no腰酸 yet. But i dun get very good sleep as it is always difficult to fall back to sleep after waking up to pee.

Same here. But every night I will need to wake at least 2 times to pee and keep drink water. I am put the drinking bottle in bed side.

Like wat i shared earlier, need to see bhcg trend. Ur fri or sat bhcg reading cant tell much even if is super high. Coz we dunno if the reading was doubled fr 2~3 days ago. That's wat we want to see. If u wanto do, u need to do on fri and coming monday n compare this 2 readings. If not, dun waste money as a single reading dun tell anything.

I with this Dr Tan HH... But I think I only can meet him during ER & ET..
Having ultrascan at this morning.. Both side have total 16 eggs! Biggest few are 13.5, lining is 7.4...
Is this considered good?
My treatment is elonva (day 1) and orgalutran (day5-7 morn).. U guys also?
Doc review this morn said my eggs are not ready yet, have to go back again tomorrow for scanning and see need to take puregon or not, besides, I have to inject orgalutran before returning for scanning...
I am not stress actually, since I have been disappointed for nearly 2.5years!
But I am really scared of ER, anyone can share with me your ER story?? When u all do the ER?

I think miaoling has done a couple of bhcg previously. So can use the online bhcg calculator and use the last test and new test to see if the increase is at the normal level. The calculator can calculate even though the bhcg count difference is more than 3 days apart.

I did my first in 11dp3dt. And second on 15dp3dt.. Stop here for continue the bhcg. Today is my 23dp3dt, is it continue on next 2 day will be too late?

Bhcg reading range is too wide. So a single reading within the range does not mean a thing. Any gynae dr will same the same as me.

My bhcg was in high 5 digits at 6wks... higher than alot of ladies. Defintely in the range. But 3 days later, retest, the reading increases but not doubled. I already miscarriaged even before 5wks pregnant coz dun even has yolk sac!

I know the anxiety. So if wan to test, do a proper test. If not, is just wasting money. U can reconfirm w dr loh in ur next visit if u dun believe. I am just trying to give accurate facts.

I went thru a few miscarriages. Know how pananoid it can get. Dr loh told me if it is meant to miscarriage, he cant do a thing. He can only step in at 24 wks pregnant by taking bb out if need be. But not anytime before that.

By being so pananoid wun do u and bb any good. I always fail my BP when i visited dr loh.. relax and enjoy the journey. wats urs will be urs. Even u/s, every scan disturbs the baby fyi. Pls dun do at so close interval. Even when i am paranoid, i do at 2wks interval.

I did not take your medication and I am on long cycle. I am stimulate for 11 days before they trigger. I believe you should have another 3 days more to go. They need to monitor closely as sometimes the follicles will grow really fast within a day or 2.

Too many days already
Do on fri and Monday n see the trend. The increase at least doubled will give u more assurance.

Take the online calculator w a pinch of salt. If they r reliable, dr wun hv to ask us to do BTs every few days to see trend.

I dun disagree with u and do not doubt yr 'experience' or knowledge. A single hcg reading is really not useful.

However, Calculation between 2 hcg levels over a time frame is different from just looking at a single hcg reading. It calculates the half life of hcg. Maybe, u can check out the calculator i posted.

Doing bhcg test and poas is equivalent to getting a peace of mind for myself. It is definitely $ well spent for me when i get a peace of mind. So far, dr loh has not stopped me from doing more tests. In fact he prescribed them seeing that it gives me relief. Like i mentioned before, different strokes for different folks. It's just a different way of handling anxiety.

As for u/s, i hv personally raised the question of how safe it is to do it at this stage and the frequency. I remember telling him on one of my previous visit that i just did a scan 3 days earlier at kkh and would prefer to skip if it is not safe or advisable. However, he feels that there is no harm and hence proceed with a second scan. I have been seeing him weekly and every week, he does s scan to check on my progress. I believe he will let me know if ig is unsafe to proceed.

Tdy confirmed baby is 6.1mm but no heartbeat.
Dr loh advised me to take meds to induce instead of d&c cos he said the latter will have higher risk for scarring and adhesion which is not good for us who are seeking fertility treatment. But I'm so afraid I can't handle it emotionally when I have to pass out the sac and tissues etc.....
May I ask for those of you who sadly also had gone through the same thing what choice did u make?

For me i will only do one bhcg that is to confirm the pregnancy. Anything beyond that i personally don't find it necessary at all. If it's viable, it will be.

KKH did day 5 transfer on me. Why would they do only day2 le?

Hope I can do ER on Saturday, so that I can have whole weekend to rest more!
