Healthy baby .. curious .. why did you opt for blasts? U have a lot embryos so Dr Tan suggest? Hee .. I doing research in case I wanna blast lol
 
Sunflower I didn choose blasts or 3day transfer. In fact I didn know can choose. After egg retrieval back in dec last year my doc told the nurse will be doing a day 5 transfer when I was unconscious haha. So after I wake up after the egg retrieval the nurse told me to come back 5 days later for transfer. She did however mention anytime fr day 3 I must standby anytime they call me in morning I must rush down for transfer in case my embryos cannot make it. I got 34 eggs retrieved and maybe that's why my doc see my case ok to try to cultivate to blasts. During my transfer back then doc told me 24 fertilised but only 10 make it to blasts so transfer 2 freeze 8. Fresh failed. Review with doc say could be due to body hormones all screw up. After all I retrieved a lot of eggs but no OHSS but doesn't mean system is ok inside.

So I am glad this natural fet cycle can give me a BfP with this hcg level (hope it's good sign). I am not under dr tan. I am with dr jerry chan.
 
Wah. I think your egg quality and fertilisation rate is good that's why. I also retrieved 35 eggs. 17 fertilised but only 6 embryos on day 2. Dr tan transferred 2 and hurriedly freeze the remaining 4.
 
Yes sunflower, I guess dr jerry got his confident level back then and thus dare to cultivate to day 5. He even clear me of OHSS straight after retrieval because I wasn't ask to go back to do bt after that. When I call nurse 2days later to confirm I don't need do bt to see if I got OHSS the nurse see my file record and say doc already clear me off OHSS. Don't know how he so confident too. Maybe he see my stomach not very bloated despite so many eggs retrieved.

Circle and faithfullyours, they did icsi for me so I don't know if this helps in the fertilisation quantity.

Hi hi those with TFC, what is the porgy nova dosage after ET?

I m having conflicting info from nurse after ET.....called n emailed all no response... Haiz why like that???

Gan, thank you. I don't know yet as no scan done. Must wait tomorrow go Bck kkh take medicine see which date nurse give me to see doc. I transfer two blasts. I hope one healthy baby at a time so lesser complication. Don't dare think so much. If god decided to bless me with two I will try my best to care for them...

Congrats!!! Yes leave all in God's hand & look ahead with joy....joyful mummy = happy baby & smooth pregnancy..be positive!! ;)
 
Thanks machobaby, trying to get more rest too but had hard time sleeping. Feel like very energetic. It's been like that since I enter tww.

But yes I am trying to keep myself positive and happy :)

Iwantahealthybaby, congrats to u and your dh! Twins or triplets? So happy for u! You had so many blasts and quality so good some more. Did u take anything to improve egg quality etc? My 2 remaining embryos were arrested.. v sadded. Seeing Dr thh Tmr, hope he can shed some light.

I can't remember mine but if I am not wrong dosage remains as before ET. U can email dr Loh directly to ask.
 
When discharge after ET u will have a form that indicate your med dosage n bhcg date. Just follow instruction on this form. It should be correct.
 
Gan mine is 1 progynova each morning but might differ from one case to another
Give a call a nurse Will call you back And yes count your tablets total

thanks mbbhopeful, dont dare to think so far, was quite scare of complications more when i heard the high hcg level rather than think might be twins or triplets. me and hubbs only planning for 1 baby 1st actually but if this is god's plan we will accept and work hard towards giving them the best. actually i didn take any stuff to improve egg quality back then. before i start my fresh cycle last year the only vitamin i eat was folic acid. but i ask my partner to eat more vitamins like e, c, zinc and calcium. it was only when i failed my fresh i started doing acu in regularly and start consuming more vitamins for myself like royal jelly, folic acid, vitamin b and occasionally vitamin c. but because my eggs were already retrieved so i guess these vitamins only help to built up my current body health state and not the egg qualities. in fact after my fresh failed, review with my doc he say anything is possible and could also be due to high level hormones inside my body thats why failed. but he did reassure me saying that i dont have to worry much as the embryologist got call him and say all my frozen eggs are beautiful. and he even mention seldom they will call and say this so he also quite shock to receive call from them. but i thinking its just his way of comforting me back then. but i see a difference during the transfer day the pic they give me my blasts were bigger than my fresh and both seems to have clearer cells inside. fresh was a starting blasts still not yet fully grown. but of cause my concern was still whether my lining got issue for them to implant. as i didn do endo scratch. really a lot of factors to what could happen when it fail. we can only try to eliminate one by one.
 
Wow congrats iwantahealthybaby!! N wow u have so many eggs retrieved without ohss somemore...power leh ! For me, too little eggs in reserve so cant do ivf :( still v happy for u!! Must take care!!
 
Iwantahealthybaby, Congrats! Still remember me who go and consult Dr Loh and Dr Loh tells me to go to Dr Jerry in KKH. I will be starting my 3rd ivf cycle in April, It will be a long cycle, so I think May time then will do the ER and ET. Your success has given me some confident in Dr Jerry, as I have heard so little about him in the forum.. I will be doing Endo Scratch.. which he said will improve my chance.
 
@iwantahealthybaby btw u mentioned u went acu, did u go acu once or twice a week? N during tww, any acu or special diet to share with us? Hee beside from not taking hpt hehe...
@hope why did dr loh referred u to dr jerry? I think i will b ur ivf cycle hee...cause i b starting my ivf in April if i have enough eggs by then!
 
dear sisters, it's not yet noon yet I have already had a rollercoaster ride this morning. :S
Beta hcg is 51.4 which is low. Going back on Thursday to re-test.
 
@bliswifu yes i am very lucky i didn suffer ohss after i see i got so many eggs retrieved. was shock by the number also as my scan didn show so many follicles. i went acu twice daily before fet starts then during 1st scan to see lining after menses i went almost daily all the way till egg transfer week before my tcm doc ask me to rest 3days then go back acu again 2 days before transfer date and then after transfer go back acu another 3x. basically my feb diet since fet in feb is red dates wolfberries drink daily as my regular drink, red bean soup daily to increase my lining. folic acid and some multi vitamins. then during tww i eat 2-3 durians for 10days straight, continue with daily red dates tea and chicken essence. 5 brazil nuts and 2 hardboil eggs white daily.

@Hope42014 yes i remember, like you i had a hard time finding dr jerry chan reviews here in this forum. in fact i think only me under him back then lolx. manage to find one sister under him but she mention after fail 1x with him she change to dr tan. so i was so lost when i realise all ivf sisters prefer dr tan or dr s. even dr matthew lau have his own loyal fans too :) but then again i thought since the 1st day i enter kkh i been seeing him as my gynae why dont just give him try. after fail fresh i did consider changing doc but again somehow i feel its not his skills that lead to my fresh failure and so i decided to give him and myself another chance. after all he handle my er well and since i got 8 frozen blasts i thought i can still try as i still quite comfy with him. lucky i didn change him away as he has given me the best gift i want this round. you will be in good hands too under him. he is a very busy man (heard from nurses he seldom in hospital cause got lots of conference or meetings) but i am lucky during er, and two et he is around to do the transfer for me and not any other doc. my fet transfer was a sat and he came back specially to do the transfer with sprain leg cause i saw him limping lol.
 
thanks @bubbybear, yes 1 or 2 i am happy. if 2 i can close factory if 1 i will try again 2 years later hehehe.

@MichNg congrats ya its still positive, as long as you are not spotting or bleeding there is a chance your bt will double in 2 days time. stay positive meanwhile and try to minimise walking.

@MichNg , my beta hcg was 56 on d19p2dt. It went to 206 2 days later. Then 420 2 days later. I just met my doctor. I asked if the hcg levels is okay. He said don't worry; each one of us has different levels.

Great! Which hospital are you at? Dr Loh wants me to use up the fund from government and he believe that Dr Jerry has the skill. My right ovary is higher than normal, so it is hard to retrieve the eggs. He wanted to make sure that all the eggs are retrieved as he said that my qty of eggs are high base on scan and do not understand why NUH retrieve so little.

@iwantahealthybaby .. hopefully I will be as successful as you. Me too.. I just wanted one.. do you think endo scratch will help? I am going to start my accu when my mense report. Just do my best again for this round...
 
Fwah Iwantahealthybaby, your ivf diet is very *thumbs up*.

This time I am lazier and also sick. Sore throat never seems to go away. Totally no chance for Brazil nuts or chicken soup or red date. I've been drinking more water, hoping that the sore throat won't develop into a fever. Hoping to hang in there until Fri.
 
@Hope42014 now that you mention your case again in detail i was thinking maybe dr jerry is really skillful in retrieving eggs that is why i can retrieve 34eggs when my last scan show less than 20 follicles. hahaha i dont know what went wrong too (isit the scan not clear or suddenly i grew more than 14+ eggs) and i dont know if he is so skillful that i didn suffer ohss as a result (maybe he is very gentle in the poking and extracting of follicles so i recover faster) trust dr loh, heard that dr jerry is also he bring up one, think they are from the same nus...

as for endo scratch i dont know also. i nearly wanted to scartch before my fet but then i thinking i wanted to try naturally and i fear scratch wait my lining recover slower so i didn in the end. but dr jerry will do too if you want.

@sarah2012 my tcm is dr zou at blk 505 amk ave 8 #01-266 TEl: 6456 0833 just in case you need her contacts. very nice lady, she just msg me today asking me my BT result. suppose my BT is today but i went earlier yst instead. yes twice weekly cause acu can last 3days. and nearing the transfer i do it daily. but dr zou see me come so many times she actually ask me to rest myself lolx. she say last two days before et must acu again then after et acu at least 3 times. she will advise you when you go visit her :)

just been curious how many eggs your retrieved in NUH? what about the other fresh? where was it and how many eggs?
i retrieved 3 eggs in NUH and 3 months later 9 eggs in TFC
going for my 3rd fresh so wonder if its just chance or due to doc skill
 
Sarah, that makes us cycle buddy if I decide to proceed with my 2nd fresh cycle next month. I failed my first cycle in January too.

I am seeing Dr Zuo twice a week now but not taking her medicated powder. Am seeing another tcm for herbs.
