its normal. i started scanning day 2 den next after 5 days of gonal f. den two days once of scanning to monitor the follicles.

Hi hi to all, i am also a silent reader. But reading theae posts help to give me hope in this journey.

Mnadz, it is normal. Nothing to worry about. I did my short cycle last year. Scanning was more regular. Now they scan at latter stage.

For my recent long protocol, my scan was on day 8 of 200 units puregon. Did one more scan of day 9 and I was off to ER. I think they are trying to reduce our scans so that it is less disruptive to work.
 
iwantahealthybaby, can i know whats ur lining when ur trf ur embryo? after a failed lining scanning, i become so paranoid about lining now. lol

Hi there...

Don't worry. I went for my 1st scan on d2 but turn out lining still thick so doc gave me some injections for the next 3 days. My 2nd scan was d5 and thats the day i began my ivf. They also gave me a week (7 days) of injections and asked me go back on the last day of injection.
By then, the follicles more or less are growing well, i was told to go back on the next day and that was my last scan. So far everything goes well. Im going back tml for my D5 blastocyst transfer.

Are your menses regular? Cos i was thinking mine was 35 cycle and irregular therefore they made arrangement in such a way i don't need to go back for scans every 2 to 3 days.

Stay positive! I always talk to my eggs. Lol.
 
Iwantahealthybaby: congratulations. Don't worry yourself silly..else you will do it for the next 36 weeks :p every week until delivery is a worry but do enjoy each week for the BFP is a blessing, and many more such blessings to come.

Babydusty: thanks babe. I am already a strong mummy hahaa just dunno how long more body can take the abuse. 3 fresh, 4 medicated FET abandoned, stimulated FET BFN. It's a surprise to me very often that my body still resets itself to 28day cycles. Hahahaha..

Haha! This time I quieter la. Doing second round this time like nothing much to share. The first time, I was like a nervous wreck. Hahaha!

Hahaha! Last time never sit this ivf roller coaster before. Scream and shout at every twist and turn. Felt terrible with ohss cos 23 eggs retrieved.

but with each time, we come back stronger and better. This time, I survived thru ohss again with 35 eggs retrieved. Hahaha! Jia you sisters! Don't give up!
 
Thanks Gigi and Ron. Just spoke with the hubbs. He say must have faith In god. Keep praying now give us good result must trust them. Ask me think positive so won't affect bb inside. He doesn't want twins actually cause financially very tight but he say if it comes then our two kids plan can fulfill at one time. Stressful but can handle together.

Babydusty the last scan before ovulation detected my lining is 8.6 triple. Then 6days later transfer but on transfer day I don't know what lining already as KKivf don't scan on et day.

*blush* I think more of bobian. Although first cycle retrieved 23 eggs, only 1 good embryo. So if wanna do, must start fresh again.

For those hesitating on 2nd fresh, I would say just do it. Having gone thru it once, it will surely help. Can't take away the physically pain but u will be able to handle it better.

triple lining thats why! when i bfp it was triple 8 also but end up miscarriage. They dont scan lining before transfer because when u ovulate, lining dont grow anymore. So it will eventually stay when u ovulate, so waiting for either implantation or mensus and the lining will be shed when mensus comes. Congrats again!

Babydusty my fresh also triple lining at 10.8 but maybe back then didn succeed maybe cause too many hormones jab and body not receiving embryos properly. Or could be the blasts were early stage.
 
LoveG I hope this is so and not any other factors. Argh I must stop worrying now till my next visit to see sac and heartbeat. Hopefully able to detect next visit.

Hi iwantahealthybaby, congrats!!!

May I check with you when you said you had no symptom at all during 2WW, what do you mean? I ask because I also have no symptom at all. No bloating, no nausea, no sore boobs, nothing at all. This is my first fresh cycle and I'm kinda losing it because I feel that I am too normal but when I saw your post, I was like, "WOW!" My BT will be on 14 March.

true... mayb the chosen embryo before not of good quality... hehe
 
Faithfullyours, yes exactly like u. No bloated stomach, no nauseous, no fainting spell, no cramps, no fatigue, no sore or full boobs, appetite is same as before no increase no crave no decrease. No implantation spotting. I thought I lost it too. Except for slightest cramp 1-2 days after transfer but I thought that's quite norm usually after the catheter inserts. I wouldn even notice it but because I was paying so much attention to signs and symptoms so I thought that's the slightest pull I have on my Stomach right after the transfer.
 
No didn take medical leave. My transfer was Saturday so able to rest on sun before gg back work on mon. Sat itself after transfer I didn bed rest. Went dinner with family and play with nephews. But other than that sat, the rest of the days I walk slower, no running even if it meant catching a bus. Usually walking yes. Buy household stuff, buy dinner back after work. No cleaning of house thou.

I only felt very bloated and very slight discomfort 2dp2dt in the middle of the night that I woke up tearing. Then by 4dp2dt, I was totally back to normal. I also did not suffer any side effect from all the injections. I was on the long protocol. Initially I was quite proud of myself that my body could expel all the hormones drugs so fast that I had injected into my body for the past one month until my TCM doctor said I should be feeling bloated all the way, then it kind of got me worried. However, 5dp2dt after dinner, I did feel very slight AF-like cramp at the lower abdomen and some light twinges on the right side and 1 or 2 on the left and I thought maybe AF would be coming soon. After that day, everything was back to normal again. Till now, still no symptom at all. No AF. Really hope God will answer my prayers and be like you! :)

By the way, is it normal for fresh cycle patient to feel no symptom? I understand yours is a natural FET.

But boobs are sore and I think it's due to utrogeston inserts. Other than that also nothing else. In fact fresh cycle I tend to rest more and be very careful. But still negative results. I pray you can be like me too. BfP with no symptoms.
 
Thanks Sarah and sunflower. Hmm I thought I see that before too (1500-2000 can see sac) but I think their standard procedure is two weeks from bt then aptm with doc. Tmr I go down I try to see when can fix earliest aptm with doc. But if too early scan and cannot see I still need go back again. So if they really say tww then I also must wait. No choice :(

@iwantahealthybaby My 1st appt is on 18/3. I believe during the first scan can see the sac and the bb heartbeat. So nervous. When is your appt and and your hcg is so high, do you have any pregnancy symptoms? I started to get more bloatedness and no much appetite.
 
Denmeg, me tomorrow then go down kkh to take medicine so tmr then will know when is 1st aptm with doc. Hopefully is next week instead of two weeks later. And I got no symptoms at all even till today. That is why I keep worrying during tww.
