My bloatedness has gone down a little. But my tummy still feels funny. Whenever I can eat, I'll eat. If the food doesn't agree with my tummy, out it goes...
So far, you don't have any major symptoms, right? Just like Nano. Lucky girls!

Hmm, maybe u have to slowly find out what food agrees with u, at least until your MS subsides. I'm also getting this bad skin itch every day at certain times. Have to control myself from scratching.

I didn't really restrict myself or avoid much food, just try to reduce caffeine and cold stuff which I like. I still take them, but not as often. I was also eating a lot of fast food as I seemed to craving it last week, but sick of it this week. Quite funny.

thanks for your info. i will go for day 2 blood test after my meanses come next week. so my injection will be start from 15th of oct.
i start my accu at amk dr. zou clinic. i can bear the accu discomfort. i enjoy when the dr. poke on my back side.

Like you my bloatness got better for the 1st few days after i switch to oral med but noticed that these few days it came back again. After meals, I will feel quite bloated. Generally still feel quite ok but these few days if I eat full meal, I will feel abit nausea after that. Last nite, i puked abit immediately after brushing my teeth..1st time..think i ate too much for dinner.

Initially I was also worried abt acu, but after I tried it I got used to the feeling. Just let her know if the electrical pulse is too strong for u, she can turn it down until comfortable.

Yah, I'm also getting a little bloated too...can't eat too full, esp dinner. Else sleeping quite uncomfortable. I will be going 2 wks from today.

Do you know whether is it safe to do v-scan at our stage? I read tat most ladies do v-scan on their 1st visit to gynae but Dr zou had said tat we shn't do as there is a risk if we do v-scan at this stage as the preg is not considered stable yet..I know the sonograher will do abdominal scan first, if they can't see then will do v-scan but I'm abit confused whether is it safe to do v-scan.

first 2 weeks of injection you dont have to go back to the clinic. but 2nd 2 weeks of stimulation stage u need to go back the clinic 2/3 times a week.
i think you should ask your nurse about each step

Pardon my ignorance, are we 4 months pregnant? i'm calculating from ET. And have you gain any weight so far? I've lost some weight since. am worried.

Don't worry, it's common to have vscan now cos the embies still very small and vscan will be closer n clearer.

yes , i learnt fr 1 gynae that it is not advisable to v-scan for too long at this early stage but a trained sonographer/gynae will perform a quick v-scan(unless they are unable to check via abdominal scan) to check the sac to ensure it is not ectopic.

may i check with you how do you cope with work when you are on ivf? i knew that you work throughout your 2 weeks period. did your colleagues know about it? it must be very tiring right when you are on medication and with all the effects. i hope you can advise me.

Thanks for the advice. Was abit concerned earlier on cos previously heard fr her that after a lady did v-scan at kk, got bleeding and miscarriage. However, not too sure whether really due to that. Actually if really got to do v-scan, I would prefer a gynae to do for me but seems like for kk it is done by sonographer..hope will get an experienced one.

Sorie I forgot you din succeed in yr last IVF but it is great news to hear that you conceived naturally instead, that is even better! Did you do yr scan at kkh? cos for those under kkh, we are told to go to AMC for 1st trim dating. We will be scan by sonograhpher before we consult doc. I will be seeing Dr Loh end of tis wk.

I have went for ET last monday (17/9). The process was very fast. other than tiredness, no much sympton.
I thought i do not need any jab during 2ww. I was wrong. I need to jab pregnyl every three days. Wow that jab is more painful (burning senstation) than what we have. A mixture of powder and liquid.
Now i know why 2ww is the toughest period to go thru for some. There is nothing much can be done except waiting. i have been sleeping hopping time pass quickly for me ! I dont know what else i can do? Can i sit up for long ?

Thanks. Good to hear ur ET went well. Like pap smear, right? Don't worry abt going for ur doc appmt, cos I went to kkh every day for jabs during 2ww. Just don't do anything strenuous like housework or carry heavy things now. Do u have any discomfort? Just rest when u feel tired. And I do occasionally go out for about an hour to my neighbourhood shops, but I try not to walk too much.

We should be 6 weeks this week. Our EDD should be in mid May 2008, if it's singleton. If it's multiples, it may be earlier.

i din go to amc for any scan too cos mine was done by dr sf loh at tps. during my scan, dr loh was unable to see the sac via abdominal scan so he did a very quick 3-sec v-scan.

I find the 2ww not so bad, take this time to relax, sleep, eat, watch tv, read bks,day dream etc. Sometimes during wkend I also go jalan jalan wif hubby..of course walk slowly and dun walk too much. For me, I also went hospital everyday for my jab so dun worry abt yr doc appt.

U can try to log into www.babycentre.co.uk to get a pregnancy timeline when u key in ur est due date. Then they will email u week-by-week fetal devlpmt explanations. I find this website very interesting.
