Ya i notice sometimes abit more painful than usual. Usually, the injection site will not be sore after 1 or 2 days but my last jab at my thigh still have abit sore feeling till now. It was done at the 24 hr clinic, when the nurse pinched i know the site is already abit sore fr previous injection but my reaction was abit slow that day so before i got the chance to tell her, the needle went in already..this soreness is the longest that i experience. U just bear a few more days, very soon dun have to jab anymore leow.

I'm back...! It has been a horrible week for me. I feel nauseous most of the time & very, very tired. No appetite at all. Worst of all, I CAN"T TAKE MILK!!! Or anything with milk in it, like cheese. I will throw up if a little milk goes into my system. How am I supposed to drink the milk for pregnant mums? My cousin, who also succeeded in IVF, advised me to take calcium pills if i can't take milk. Maybe I'll call up KK to ask the nurse.

to those who are under dr sf loh and planning yr er/et in dec, dr loh will be away from mid dec till 22nd dec, so if u want dr loh to perform yr er n et then better start planning now. gd luck!

the charges is the same for ivf procedures in kk regardless who you are consulting. the only diff is the difference in consultation charges between senior consultant and concultant and whether you are seeing him in clinic D or the private suite. if u are seeing him in tps, it will cost $6 more than clinic D but usually u can get the appt within 2wks n the waiting time is shorter. I am seeing him at tps on wed's nite so it is consider as aft-off consultation. if i do not remember wrongly i paid abt $90 for the initial consultation and subsequently at $65.anyway, if u plan to cycle with dr loh and if u are not going for any op, u will only need to see him once or twice before yr ivf cycle. Ya, the cost of ivf is fr $6-8k max inclusive of icsi.

I remember you told me you do not have symptoms during yr 2ww, can i know wat abt after you are tested +ve? Do you have morning sickness? For me, i dun seems to have much symptoms compared to Rammy. I only feel more tired, appetite ok but not as gd. Dun really feel nausea, breast only abit sore and bloatness reduced quite abit compared to 2ww. Wondering whether my body producing enough hormones.

Rammy, heard tat MS is gd cos it means body producing preg hormones so shdn't be worrying. When r u seeing doc?

I really hope it is the quality. I have only 2 eggs retrieve and only 1 fertilize . As for ET i dont know whether i can go to that stage.

After receiving the news from the hospital, the feeling is really horrible, and to make it worse, one of my gf sms that she just give birth.

I am taking one step at a time now. Hoping for the best tomolo.

May i know how much did u all take during the puregon. I am on 150ul. I keep thinking that why didnt the doc give me more.

I think calcium tablets are given after 1st trim. For now, ur folic is more impt...don't forget!

Yeah, my bum still pain until now from today's jab...i can feel a lump there...think today's the worst. I also don't have any symptoms other than my fatigue.

Cheer up, dear. At least it's better than none. I think one of our sistas here also succeeded with 1 embie. Did the doctor say anything? Will u be doing the ET with ur 1 embie tmrw? You never know, this could be ur magic embie! Good luck for tmrw! I was on 250iu.

Did ur doc scan u during ur lucrin stage too? Puregon jab not too bad right? Will u be going back for a follicle scan in a wk's time? Soon will be ur turn for ER.

don't be disappointed. they will increase your dosage next cycle. at least you have one fertilized. you just need one to get pregnant. r u below 30?

May I know, usually how long from the puregon stage to ER? bcause when ER I have to ask my husband to come from Indonesia.

Haa seems like both of us belongs to the "not much symptoms" group. I feel that I am more tired now compared to 2ww, everyday will take nap.

For me, puregon was 9 days, then stop for 2 days for the HCG jab, then ER on following day...total 12 days. They scanned my follicles on day 8, and told me my ER/ET schedule.
But each case may differ slightly depending on your follicle size and whether ur doctor wants u to continue puregon for a few more days. You're seeing pvte doctor, right? You better check with them if ur doctor has the same procedure as KKH.

I know what u mean. Yest aftrn I slept for 4 hrs! Couldn't believe it. Kept waking up briefly but couldn't fight the pull, and would fall asleep again. Feel like a pig...oink.

i don have much symtoms even after tested +, just very tired. especially aft taking the oral med, duphaston.i tk a nap aft breakfast n aft lunch. apetite is good n don feel nausea, no bloatedness n no sore breast too. don worry, yr beta is good, anyway every preggie is diff.

dont be discouraged, STAY POSITIVE if you do your ET. thts the most important part. must keep your positive thinking, and try to bed rest, dont walk around much until ur blood test, must relax.

me too cant take any milk, hvnt tried for cheese. last time during my ER and ET until my 2months of my early pregnancy, i can take milk twice a day, after coming back to my hometown, i only tried to take milk twice, and then, i cant tolerate the milk, anmum, liquid milk in box, even milk in my oatmeal. i was milk lover but now i cant touch it, tell your doctor, mayb he can prescribe supplement for you.

I'm not too sure when I'll be doing my ivf, my gynae recommended LC Cheng from tmc, most like to start in Dec or Jan cos I'm doing laproscopy next mth, but I like to find our if any of u did ivf under dr sheila loh before, cos I'm still more comfortable with a female doc

I think Sheila Loh left kkh a few mths back, even b4 some of us started our ivf. A few of us are under dr sf loh from kkh. Not sure if any of the sistas here did theirs at tmc though.

I did my laproscopy in March and i take about 8 months to let the wound heal up. As ivf, you need to have the tummy for all the injection.

I think there is a female doc in SGH by the name Dr Yu who did ivf. Heard she is not bad.
 
hi rammy..i been vomiting non stop since i 5 wks preg till now 12 wks.cant take anything esp milk products.lost 5 kg n admitted 2x 4 drip.but my bb is very active n healthy cos high surge of hormones protecting bb.but me vomit till very weak but now every1 told me it will b over after 1st trimester so dun worry.i only start taking calcium n iron supplements after 1st trimester when i got better.

Thanks for sharing. I haven't been vomitting much, only feel nauseous most of the time. And I try very hard not to vomit as I really hate the after taste in my mouth. I guess I'll just have to hang on. Hopefully, I won't be this way beyond the 1st trimester.

i cant take much milk or milk products also during my 1st tri also. i hav just consult a dietitian recently, he said we can try resource breeze to gain weight or to maintain adequate nutrition coz i lost almost 4kgs til now. it has a few flavour, content most of e nutritions and taste like fruit juice but nt milk type. he suggest me to take 2 pcs/day for increase weight 500g per week. maybe u gals can giv it a try.

Yes, as you will have wound and might take a while to heal and might be painful when doing the jab.

Sorry to ask you how come your gynae ask you to do laproscopy and make appt for ivf later. Some of the gynae ask me to choose ivf right away without even laproscopy.

I have been experience some brown discharge after ER. Is this normal. It is over the weekend and i am not able to check with the nurse. Pls help!
 
ximi, cos my gynae with my existing PCOS problem, ivf is hard to succeed so advise me to do laproscopy first then easier to exceed with ivf, I'm suppose to do laproscopy long ago but keep shelving it until now, regret not doing it earlier but nevertheless, I'm all charge ahead for my ivf treatment

dr sheila loh is at raffles hospital. my doctor advise me to do ivf straight away, but to do little justice to my uterus, i went ahead with lap and hys and now hoping for natural...

It's normal to have brown spotting for 1-2 days after ER, but shld not be like ur period. I also felt one small blood clot coming out on my ER day at home, but nurse say ok.

i am planning to embark on my first IVF after 2 failed IUIs. Can I know how is the whole process like and how long does it take?

I am in my 2nd day of my menses and I am asked to go and do a blood test tomorrow.

wel-come on board. i am also embark on my first ivf . you are with which hospital? so far i know you will be brief from hospital about each step.

total procedure is 6 weeks. among this 4 weeks you have to take injection. then egg retrive and last of all embryo transfer. after the tranfer you will be on 2 weeks hospitilized leave. and after 17 days of ET they will do pregnancy test.

I did acu twice a week starting from just before my lucrin jabs started, then 3 days consecutively before my ER date. My ER and ET went smoothly...not much pain other than some cramping on day of ER. I'm not working but KKH will give u some HL to rest at home. I stayed home for most of the 2ww, other than my daily trips to hospital for progesterone jabs and occasional short trips around neighbourhood. Not much symptoms for me, other than getting tired and need to nap.

Don't worry abt the pain. I think you'll be strong enough to handle it once u start on your jabs. Have faith in yourself, ok? When and where are u doing ur ivf cycle?
