Hi all friends...

Anyone taking COQ10 to aid egg quality? Anyone can advise when should we stop taking? Until ET day only?

Please help and advise.....

Hi Ylgoh, the injections alone did not affect my daily life/work but the almost alternate days of having to go down for ultrasounds and consultations were disruptive for me.
 
Thank sisters here who has been giving me alot of precious advice n encouragement!

Im happy too but i will continue to pray for your gals. This has been a very difficult path.

Looking at the Do and Dont List, i sincerely thanks and grateful to the sisters who has done a great efforts. Without the list, i will be very lost.

I have failed 3 IUIs and 1 IVF.. I can understand how aimless life is but JY sisters, dont give up and keep trying.

ylgoh, same as the other sisters, the injections part was not disruptive to my schedule or work. You fix a similar time everyday (for me it was 8am) for your jabs. To minimise disruption when I had to go to bi-weekly scans and bloodtest, I usually schedule my appointments to be first thing in the morning like at 8am or 8.30am or the last appt such as 6.pm or 6.30pm. Hope this helps!
 
Hi Psp, where is your next appointment ? The private suite at Kkh or clinic D for the scan?

I was with clinic D all along (referred by poly clinic) but after admitted for OHSS, my appointment tomorrow is scheduled at The Private Suite. Consultation charges are very different so will go down admissions office tomorrow to find out more.
 
Mofmm, i used to see Dr Jerry Chan during my IVF at private suite, as what you mentioned, the consultation charges are very exp.
 
Hi, first time posting here. Just finished my egg transfer today, now starting the 2ww. Had an interesting ivf journey. At nearly every stage was told that prospects weren't great. Indeed only managed to retrieve 2 out of 3 eggs and luckily both fertilised and implanted. Anyway, some funny observations along the way:
1. Gynaes must be the only people who can comment on how good looking your uterus is. Huh? Uh ..............
2. Lying on a bed with all the acupuncture needles in head , tummy, hands and feet. Skali got fire. How to escape?
3. For nearly two weeks I felt like a hen trying to lay eggs. The eggs seebay hard to come out.
4. Used bedpan for first time today. Eeeeeeeeeee.
5. Alamak, got to use it again!
6. Er, why give me snack and hot milo when I'm not allowed to sit up for 4 hours? Like dat how to eat?

Hope everyone does well! Now just got to call for second round of bedpan.............

You must be at NUH or a private hospital. At KK, you're out of the ET room in five to ten min!

By the way, using bedpan is not as bad as your bladder being drained through a tiny tube with your legs spread open. By then, dignity is the last thing on your mind!

I'll be doing ET this weekend..but lining this morning measures at 9.1..is that ok? If ET is over the weekend, will lining be too thick by then?

Yeah, am at pte hospital. Mainly cos I'm on the wrong side of 35 and my gynae told me gotta queue at kk. My eggs cannot wait la.

Unfortunately, I already got the catheter immediately after ET. All because my big mouth kept asking (male) gynae when can I pee. Sigh, i miss my usual gynae. Who. Is. Female.

Thanks to all who advised me rest well. I will heehee. Same goes for all of u too, no matter what stage you're at.
 
blurtingz, think by weekend yr lining should be just nice for ET. Wont be too thick. I remember I did my ET with 12mm lining.

Dolphin > Fret not, i'm same age as you. Best to find out your amh level measuring guide so you can interpret it accurately. The below is provided by sis wondersss...

Satisfactory Fertility 15.7-28.6 2.2-4.0
Low Fertility 2.2-15.7 0.3-2.2

Ankh > Your first post is so so funny. I was told kk will look at patient urgency to schedule waiting list, such as age and body condition... those whose biological clock is ticking away faster will be expedite.

dolphin> i also may start ivf in jan, we can be cycle buddies! btw COQ10 can take 50-300mg daily. i may take 150mg 2mths b4 ivf. now taking 75mg.

Lin / Chrisl > My DH also objects to adoption... and also no to donor egg/sperm.

Lin, no marriage guarantee kids... unless its a shotgun marriage. Don't put too much stress on yourself. Both me and DH want kids, but we know that there are things beyond our control, so can only try our best.

ankh> u r so funny. I chose not to use bedpan cos I really dun know how to use it. I ren for 4 hrs b4 I go pee, which nothing came out initially!!! Got to go 3 to 4 times thereafter. Nurse dun even allow me to walk out when discharge, they force me to sit on wheelchair. lol!!!

Joyhope> very sad lei, my AMH only 1.5 ng/mL. But my gynae say still ok lei, he say still got enough eggs wor. I only harvested 7 eggs my last round, 6 matured, 4 fertilised, tranaferred 2 n no snow babies.

bigbear> I really hope I no need to go for adoption... Hv 2 more ivf tries. Crossing my fingers & toes...
