I don't think sgp have egg donor. Hv to find ourself then is not a problem. I am also thinking egg donor if I have 3 times failed ivf but I will do it in Bangkok........will be my next choice before thinking of adoption my last option

Hi Everyone,
I'm new here and i'm going for ivf in oct. I'm seeing Dr Teo Heng Hao in KK, anyone out there are familiar with this Dr and so far how good is he? By the way, since i'm doing my ivf procedure in oct, do i need to take note during my 1st visit for injection? Is there any foods I should be avoid?

Min, I've failed 2 IUI & 1 IVF this year. Doc suggested me do lap to see if there r any unwanted treasures b4 I embark on my next ivf, though v scans did not show anything. Since we hv come so far, why not right?

Asiafrighter, It is more ex & tough for us & doc ever suggested us to do in BKK as it is cheaper, n he said facility there is at par with SG. But me & DH still can't bring ourselves to do it overseas & hence embarked our journey in SG instead.

I actually did write a few email to BKK hospital whc was recommended by my previous gynae. In fact, I find they are probably better than sgp in term of many issues. They can do a lot of things whc sgp cnnt do due to the law. Doing in BKK also the time factor and that is why we decided to try sgp before we consider our next step.

I hope I k do fet but me got nothing to freeze from my last ivf. For my coming round, I will request doc to increase my gonal f dosage, which means got to pay more & suffer more. lol!!

Dreambear .. Tink better do a lap first cos u never know mah .. To tell u the truth .. Dr Loh also asked me to do lap but I did 2 yrs back w another gynae .N it's ok except the tubes are slow when the liquid pass thru it n fatty tissues around the uterus wic the gynae said its common for pple around my age ... Anyway hubby dnt encourage me to open again ..

Egg donor 80,000 Thai , choose donor, color n interview. If donor produce less than 6 eggs will have another donor free. Free transport, 1 nite stay. Hahahaha, still got surrogacy services. He didnt mentioned to me abt Malaysia has this programme. U kwn the name? Pm me if u kwn

I have recently asked a nurse abt egg & sperm donor whether is it allow in sg. She said if the wife cannot produce egg then she is allowed to use donor egg but she has to find her own donor. Same goes with thr husband.
It is not easy to come to a decision to accept donor sperm or egg as the child does not carry the full generic of the parents. I still do not have the courage to accept it.

For my case is also egg quality and dr did mentioned to me abt egg donor. I will consider when I think the time is right. I still want to carry my own child even though is not my egg but is still my DH solider.

Found the below from website which improve egg/sperm quality. These could help those women with low ovarian reserve (AMH).
1. Yoga and acupuncture to improve ovarian blood supply
2. Self-fertility massage
3. DHEA
4. Wheat germ
5. CoQ10
6. Royal Jelly
7. Maca
8. Greens like wheat grass, barley grass, Chlorella, Spirulina, etc.

Min81 > I'm only using the steroid cream on very small areas for the occasional flare ups. Will check with dr if its ok to use the cream during ivf, though I think best not to.

hihi....it is sunday!
the first weekend after my ET on thursday...(harvested 11, fertilized 4, transferred 2).
so far have been sleeping, eating, resting....lolxxxx
the only thing that bothers me is the insertion of the pills into the vagina..hmmm....
been talking to my embbies daily to tell them to be good and nice and nest nicely.....

Asiafrighter, I must say 80,000 Baht is really v affordable! Thats abt the amount of $ we spent on gonal F!
Bigbear, no one will like to find any donor if we are able to have our own kids. But too bad, due to unforeseen circumstances, some of us will need to take another longer & tougher path. Whatever that is, the bottom line is we all want a kid of our own

Last cycle, harvested 7, fertilized 5, transferred 3 but still failed. Grade 2 I guess, didnt ask dr Loh but see the pic was good. So, I hope after lap my chances will be better if not I also don't kwn what I will do next.

Tahope, u know my doc & nurses dun warn me of e side effects & pain level for all e jabs. I find this gd n bad. Gd cos I won't fear that much but I will curse after my DH inject me! Bad cos I'm not mentally prepared. There were times that my mood swing n headache after certain med & after I surf net than I know those r e side effects
So why do some jabs feel more painful than the others hah??

Asiafrighter > Fertilised 5 is good. Maybe the lap will be good. I did lap and bfp naturally the month after... only that mc. Maybe my body not strong enough. For me i'm embarking on ivf after failed iui and lap. I'm open to both donor egg and sperm, but DH don't like the idea.

Egg donor is ok to me cos I will still carry it n b part of me too ..

Ravene > My first furkid passed away early this year. She was 15 years old. I cried my eyes out. It took me a month to grieve over her. Then we adopted my second, our first furkid. She just passed her first birthday. She's such a joy and brings a lot of laughter to us with her antics. Of course we all hope to bfp, let's keep that in our prayers.

Dr Loh said, woman nearing 40s doesnt equate to low overian reserve... but the fact tt it takes 3-4 months to see the results, i decided not to wait. end up only retrieved 4 follicles and i was lucky tt i still hv 2 fertilised embryos to transfer.. if you can wait for 3-4months, i strongly recommend you to take the DHEA or other fertility food before you embark on IVF. I was already on max dosage

Joyhope .. Sorrie to hear Abt the loss of ur first furkid.. My previous 2 also passed away around 14yrs old .. Yah it's sad but I tel myself tat I have given them alot of love when they are alive .. They have not lived in vain .. One of my Gf jokingly said that she dnt mind to b my doggie .. Ravene is the name of my gal doggie baobei
