Dear all sisters, thank you very much for all the encouragement words. I will think positive and work hard to achieve my dreams. After wake up this morning I feel better and feel a brighter road ahead. Yesterday after see dr my mind went blank and feel no direction for myself. We all jiayou ok...

I1bb, Dr Veronique given me thyroxine after she called another dr from TTSH. Coz she feel that I shld be hyper and I shld not treat with thyroxine. But after 2 mths without any medication, my TSH only drop from 14 to 8. So still far more to drop to normal level if without the support of medication. So now I on 25mg thyroxine and take bt one mth later, if really can drop to normal level, she will call to inform me to proceed with fet.

Depressed Gal: Dun be discouraged. I also sometimes feel very down that I need to stuff myself with so much vits and have to be poke by needles(acc).
Let's not lose heart and have faith that one day we will have our very own baby too =)
By the way, can I ask if it is ok to eat conceive well with CoQ10 together? I read that conceive well contains CoQ10 also. Will it be overdosage? What brand do u all get for CoQ10?

I have also been very emo after reading the posts. I feel for all of u. Glad to be a part of this forum where I can find people who understand how I feel. It is the only thing that keeps me going.

I have already accepted that some things come easily for some people but not for others. This is life. Some people are born rich, some poor, some beautiful, some ugly, some stupid, some smart...life is unfair. I reminded myself to count my blessings and be thankful for what I already have.

After my failed cycle and spending a bomb in a private clinic, I've also become more realistic. I don't know how you all feel. I was initially excited about all this. Now I am just wondering if our doctors really care about helping us or whether they just want to make money. I'm trying to be trusting but it's really hard. The lesson I learnt now is to be my own advocate, to fight for what I want. Because if I don't help myself then nobody is going to help me.

Egg fty: i know how you feel. It was how I felt some years back when I was told that the only way to stop my cramp is pregnancy? I thought it was a joke. While I can try to understand the gynae's intention, I was there to investigate the cramp. It was only like 4 years down the road, visiting a gynae out of the country that started me thinking that IVF is money-making scheme. The overseas gynae told me my condition as it is and never suggest IVF as a solution for once. I felt so intimated going to SG gynae to do more investigation to face "fire and brimstone". We arent prepared for a kid or IVF then and while seeing a gynae for my increasing pain didnt solve the issue but only increase the agony of face with "hard truth". Often, I would leave the gynae office lost and in tears. I still think its crazy that they played on my emotions. Going for IVF or not is a personal decision. I didnt believe in getting pregnant just to save myself from pain as we were really not ready, no matter what.

Hi Sarah,
Your thyroxine prescribed by your doc is the lowest dosage for thyroxine. No worries, this means your TSH not very high and will come down very soon. Mine was much worse, I start off with 75mg, then drop to 50mg and then 25mg. Now, actually my thyroid is back to normal, but both my thyroid doc and Dr Loh advice me to continue with 25mg thyroxine since I m going for IVF. Stay positive and you will be back on your journey to FET and reaching your dream soon. Jia You

Chris: So sorry to hear about your experiences. Sounds like you have endometriosis? Yes after going to different gynaes I realize that they all have different beliefs. Some will be aggressive with treatments, some will take a natural approach, so in the end it is up to us to educate ourselves and seek different opinions before making a decision.

Chevy & Prosepina, I have found the tummy warmer at IMM Daiso but I haven't buy it. For all sisters who are looking for it, it is usually place at the neck warmer section. I am still waiting for a review from Prosepina another brand from Japan.

Egg fty: I have adenomyosis (something like endometriosis except the cells grow inside of the uterus compared to endo). I suffer for a few years not knowing it.

I know this has been mentioned a few times but I still can't find reading through old posts.. How many days of suppression, stimulation and egg maturation injections to undergo? which jabs run concurrently? I am trying to figure out how many days of injections one needs to undergo?

I will be back in SG in about 3 weeks and seeing 2 gynae soon before deciding which to continue with. Any advise or watch outs that might help us decide? How long usually is the wait to start procedure?

Chris: the duration of injections depends on the individual. It can be anything from 9 days to a month. You need to speak to your RE to find out what protocol he's putting you on (long or short) and the kind of drugs you will be injecting. You won't know how you respond until you start injecting and doing the scans. Response varies from individual to individual.

Prosepina, I was spotting all the way to cd10! Was very worried too. I took some TCM med to help stop the spotting and think it did help. The doc said no need to worry though, cos most likely it's because the body needed time to respond to the estrogen produced by the follicles and maintain the lining. But do speak to your doc and see what he thinks. Oh, I was actually referring to the size of my follicles. I don't know the exact number of follicles cos they didn't really measure every follicle like in KK leh. In KK i got to know the size of every single follicle.

Chris, if it's long protocol, you'll likely start with ard 2 weeks of suppression (one injection a day) ard cd21, then when your hormones are suppressed (confirmed by blood test), you can start stimulation. At this stage, you usually take 2 jabs a day (one for the suppression drug, one for the stimulation drug). Depending on your response, this may take abt another 11 to 15 days before egg retrieval (ER). 2 days before ER, you'll need to take a maturation jab in the night to mature your eggs. Don't worry. It sounds complicated but once you're in it, it's pretty much taking one step at a time.

Prosepina, size for ER is abt 18 to 20mm. So I still have some way to go. But i think i'm doing slightly better in terms of size and evenness at this stage as compared to my last cycle. Keeping fingers crossed!

I1bb, dr adv to stop ptu previously since feb as my TSH from normal go to high. But after stop for 2-3 mths, the level can't go back to normal. Intially my TSH hit 19+. After without medication then it came down to 8 but the dr feel it too slow to let it come down by it own without med.

BigBear: I take saizen only during stimulation, 1 shot once every 2 days. Yes, I hope change in hospital will bring us luck. Meanwhile enjoy ur BKK break!

Usagi, I have the same stim now as urs in Mar/Apr, menopur 450 + saizen. May I know how u feel abt it, comparing with gonal-f? Did u have better quality of eggs in 2nd round? My dosage increased a lot from previous puregon 200iu, so I worry abt ohss. I'm quite sick of eating EW..

Bruno, 9 follicles are not few, so dun worry. 9 follicles = 9 potential babies. So quality is more important
