cas, just to share with you how i communicate with Dr. TanHH for consultation. Earlier on, I did mentioned his communication and listening skills need to be improved. So, what I did each time before the consultation, I will jot down my questions in a piece of paper and when I go in to see him, I will browse thru my questions and ask him. He is fine with my way. HOpe this little info can help you.
I think for your protocol you may ask the KKH IVF dept nurses. They are very familiar with it. All the protocols no matter short or long, there is SOP for them and I think it is documented in their dept file.

Cas, the cost of FET are $1,033.73 for me. It is included I do only 1 scan coz my lining is ok. If u hv to do more than 1 scan u hv to pay $28 + gst for every scan. They bill u after the transfer.
Medicine for 2ww support will be around $200. It depends on what medicine u will get.
Insurance have to be paid by cash. No matter u use medisave or cash.
If ur blood test and DH blood test over than 6 mths
need to do blood test again and it will
be $140.15.
For medicated FET add $20 ( more or less) for proynova
which u hv to take starting day 4 of urAF

shainie, ehh.. i was charged $28 total for all my scan (4times).. so i think irregardless of the number of times of scans still charge at $28... i was surprise too but both my fets were like that

Thanks everyone for your replies. I should have prepared myself to ask the questions. Feel kind of silly waited so long for a consultation then nothing really comes out of it! My dh also say he felt quite blur at the moment so also never ask anything haha. We both sotong. Guess Im under natural since I was not given any medication. But aspirin I remember from forum, it's to thin blood or help implantation? Dr never say why I need to take that.
If the cost is around $1k I may consider again..must ask dh for his opinion..

Omg ong omg!! I m at SGH now and did a beta hcg test... Itz positive! I couldn't believe it! Home pregnancy test indicate negative but it become positive! I m so so happy, I really can't believe it

I'm new to the forum and singapore, I need to have a laparoscopy and then going for a round of IVF. I still couldn't believe it and went to test again. Yes this time is positive!!
Prosepina, ya me ivf to iui, I m really really lucky. All the nurses dun believe their eyes too..
Apple, the symptom is similar to menses coming n I still tot that my menses is really coming..
I m a typical example where dr also give up hope but it just end up positive
the dr n nurses r preparing me for 2nd ivf n yet miracles happens. So I believe all of us will succeed 1 day
now I just pray n hope my bb is healthly.. N baby dust to all sisters

Hihi pretty lady..I am previously seeing dr roland for my 1st fresh cycle and i bfp..but unfortunately lost it during ww17..he is more than a dr which i can comment and willingly to spent time with you which i find it very impt for ivf patient like us and at least he will not rush us off..I am sure you will like him if you visit him..I am recuperating and planning to see him again for my next fresh cycle...

sistas, i think they keyword over here is "no hope/give up" and then less stressful. When we didnt have much hope we tends to more or less already accepted the fact and our body n mind will be more relax..
many many told me, their baby comes when they gave up and no hope! until this point of time, i am still hoping. how to lost hope?

Abbaby, this time is really naturally. Coz mine ivf to iui only 10% so I did not put in much hope n even drink cold drink... But I realise if itz iui timing is very impt..
My dh is 3 low plus mid n tail defect yet we still can strike via iui so we are really lucky. Now just hope to cross the 12 weeks smoothly. Miracles do happen

My previous fet was $1033. Regardless how many times of scan, still this price. I rem I went many scans, I think got 6 times cos it took me 26 days to go for ET. If u went for natural fet, if u don't ovulate , risk to cancel the cycle, them the total u have to pay is roughly $300++. Not to worry about medisave, if u striked that cycle, u have one year allowance to claim. When I striked my fet , I make sure my pregnancy is stable after the 5th mth detail scan, them I make the medisave claim. So for now, just ignore the medisave first

hi shainie..I read abt what happen to you..I feel for you as i was kinda in the same shoe as you..i had 2 mc too..once in yr 2008 through natural conception n another 1 in yr 2011 through ivf..everything just happen too fast and happiness are just short lived..nevertheless,i am sure you can do it again..seek tcm advise and recuperate yr body..you will be there 1 day..
