Shainie: Oh dear. Really sad to hear that. Did your dr suggest testing to find out the reason for m/c? I don't know how to comfort you but I feel your pain. Hope that you can BFP natural while you take a break.

The way u wrote abt e 'garment' so funnie..haha.. i do agree they have funnie rules. Keep rpting in news say not enough babies to make up e population & nd to encourage youngsters to marry & give birth to more if not nd to have dunno how many foreigners to come in. But shldnt they stop & take a look at us IVFers?! We r all trying so hard to even have one, they shld instead help us more like givg more or higher subsides etc

Niko, hi hi I am still here. I have not started the tcm med yet. The sinseh mentioned it has to be after my mense. Now waiting... Got so bloated wondering is it because of the previous failed cycle. Think put on weight too. Thanks for feedback on the med. He gave me 5 packs, 3 before o and 2 after. Think my condition really no good. Most sisters here not taking as much. How long does it take to brew fr 4 bowl to 1? Wondering whether I can do it after work. Is it very bitter? I don't want to take sweet, now trying to control my sugar intake, read somewhere that too much sugar in the body, will age faster and affect egg quality.

Dear Shainie, I'm so sorry to hear that. It must be very heartbreaking, but, please try yout best to start afresh and yes, to tiao back your body. Sorry that I am not too good with words....Really hope that you can recover soon, both your mind and health.

Dear sisters, I have been feeling quite moody and been crying unintentionally after my failed ivf. Somehow, I thought I have gotten over it. I experienced terrible cramps when I got the first period after the failed ivf. Then I fell sick for a week then now my bleeding starts again which I dunno why. This time, even my urine is in red and I am really scare. Very low morale and thinking if I am the one who caused my health to go downhill. Sorry to be like that, supposed to give supports for sisters here. Hate myself for being so weak....
 
Shainie: sorry to hear that. Do a mini confiment for at least 2 weeks. If you are see tcm go to your tcm dr to tiao your body.

Givemehope, don't dwell and think too much. No point worrying when u don't even know the cause. Just faster make an apt to c doctor to find out what's wrong first. Meanwhile, dnt let your mind wander off n try to watch comedies. It helps.

Givemehope, don't think that. Are you having uti since you mention your urine got blood. Take cranberry juice to cure it. It is unavoidable to feel sad even after some time of failed cycle. I do feel that same. Tears roll down uncontrolled whenever being asked. I even have the tot that I am the cause of the failed cycle. Failed to keep the embbies with me. Lazy me. But cheer up, givemehope. We learn from the failure, hope we can improve our body and receive the next one that is giving to us.

Givemehope..go see a doc..if urine got blood might be uti (urinary tract infection) and also it might be cos of the hormones injections that's causing our bodies to be a tad messy etc (i remembered between my 1st and 2nd try..my Af was just spottings instead of a normal flow and was late etc etc..many problems..but do go see your doc asap and find out the blood in urine yeah?

*hugs* it's never an easy path in this ivf but we are here to encourage and spur on one another..as long as you are still trying everyday to do what you can to reach your dreams, no one can ever say that you are weak..not even yourself..don't ever think that way ok sister..we need to have some faith and some glimpse of hope..

Grieve for as long as you need. And nurse your health back strong ok? You need to do a mini confinement, do you have recipes? If not i can send you.

When pple say time will heal, actually It doesn't bcos these failures will always be in our heart. When the mood swings, the memories just return. I hope that period will pass quick for u and u will be back with positiveness.

Dr Tan come personally to break the news at my ward. I lnow I lost both coz this morning scan nothing was seen but DH cannot accept it. He go and find for Dr Tan at KKIVF. Dr Tan do come and tell everything to us at my ward just now.
It is painfull especially to see my DH heart broken. I do not know how to break this news to my mum.

Any one at KKIVF after BFN or miscarriage ( sorry to bring up this issue) you all see ur doctor at clinic D or IVF centre? Dr Tan want me to see him at clinic D but I prefer to see him at IVF centre. Please advice.

He will do the Lupus test for me. Now waiting the nurse to take my blood. I will be discharge today coz no point staying longer here. I BFP with him twice but both mcarriage. For my fresh Im not with him which I BFN.

Im also afraid ( there is a feeling inside me) to get pregnant and mc again. Im thankfull to God that He let me see the 2 sacs eventhough I hold them only few days.
 
Shainie, IVF centre dont really have consultations. The only consultation done there is by resident doctors to advise on lining, follicle progress for ivf cycles. Dr Tan if he is at IVF centre will be busy with ERs, ETs so he may not do consultations. Last time as head of IVF last time, Dr Loh also dont do consultation there. So it may be better you see him at clinic D where he is in a more relaxed mindset to do consultation and can take time to explore options for you.

As for me, i did all my consultations at TPS when under Dr Loh. Never consulted him at IVF centre.
 
Shainie, if you want a more relaxed environment can try asking whats the difference if you see him at TPS. I heard its just $10 more for consultations, dont know consider private or subsidised. But its a nicer place, ambience.

take ur time to grieve... and grieve together with ur hubby... lean on each other.... i know how it feels esp when u feel like u have disappointed everyone but u are grieving too... remember the people around u are the ones who care most about u and will always be there for u...

tps is a more comfortable place... and waiting time tend to be shorter... scans can all be done there... whereas in clinic D the gynae won't scan for u.. gotta go adc for ur scans... i saw dr tan at tps and i didn't even have to wait 30 min to get to see him....
 
i1BB, i usually just call appt line and say i want to see Dr Tan at TPS. They will arrange. After that i guess back end they will do their own transfer of the file.

Sometimes i call TPS direct to make appt too.

TPS got free beverages. But i like most that got windows, dont feel so claustrophobic.
 
I heard only ah, i long time never compare clinic D and TPS rates. Think before you go, best to ask. The appt line may know. Most importantly i dont know will affect pte or subsidised status. I thought wont but so far i havent managed to confirm with anyone.
 
Dear shainie, my heart goes out to you n yr hubby... Actually, I was shocked to read abt it.. Allow yrself time to grief but pls refrain from feeling guilty or blaming yrself... As much as it is diff to tell yr parents (coz afraid of disappointing them), but the truth is, they treasure ur well-being n health more than anything else.. I hope you achieve success the next time round.. If u believe in tcm, it helps.. U are a strong gal, u can do it! Take good care...
 
Haha Choco, i was just sharing where TPS is at another thread.

You know level 1 got a 7-eleven store? TPS is just to the right of it. Before you enter TPS corridor will pass by OIO Maternity shop too but dont walk past OIO Maternity, will overshot already. Look out for the corridor and walk in about 8 metres (i think) will see TPS entrance (sliding door one).

MC007, i didn't know SGH so long queue. According to the nurse, she said if haven't seen doctor, your friend can estimate the schedule to be at year end. The standard procedure is see doctor, arrange to go for IVF counselling, then sign agreement, do all the necessary tests, doc decide long or short protocol, then start. Hope it helps.
 
Ya Shainie, i agree with Cock Cock, you are a strong gal. Though its discouraging now but one day you will surely have your babies in your arms!
 
I1bb: kkh just adjusted their consultation fee if I not wrong. I call up IVF to arrange to consult Dr Tan abt my upcoming cycle. Was told no more consult there now all seen at clinic D. Charges also change.
 
Thks Cool.. wow.. didn't know SGH's Q is even longer than KK.. My fren is waiting for her AF to go for the pre-tests before Dr consultation.

Sugary, you are right, we wanna forget but think until our dreams come true, otherwise, it is kind of hard.

Chrisl and Happypinky ah, I do not feel pain and my period is here again so I am not sure if UTI has taken place. Everything is in a mess now.

I will be seeing Dr Loh tomorrow. So worried, hope can sleep tonight.

Shainie, this is a tough period for u n ur hubby. We shall do our best to brace up k?

If I'm not wrong, dr sad don't see ivf patients in TPS anymore. I always prefer TPS when I see dr loh last time, feel so much better. At clinic D, it's always like u are really a SICK PATIENT. But in TPS, as in business class. I ever requested to see dr sad at TPS, but seems like all directed back to clinic D. Anyway, if u happen to manage to make an appt at TPS to see her, there will be a courier auntie specially delivering files to anywhere needed in the hospital, no worries.
