Hey ladies
Just want to check if you have experienced bubble in the syringe during stage 1 and very hard to remove. Is it something wrong with the syringe? Or the bottle.has a lot of air? Something to alarm KK?
 
Is it ? 2 wks ago when I make appt , i say i want tps , they never say anything leh.. Everyday i call to change appt to earlier slot, they also nv ask leh. U try calling again and see if another Cust serv officer will say the same thing.
 
rinoa: my fsh ok but my AMH low..abit strange.. I am taking DHEA hoping to improve the reserve..Also going to Dr Zou for acupuncture
 
Zion, the syringe is not perfect and so it traps air bubbles. For me, it's just a single bubble, usually quite small. Acc to nurse, it is fine. The only concern is if the bubble is too large, then injection volume will be slightly less than intended. You can repeat a few times (and flick the syring barrel) until the bubble is acceptably small. Or try to suck in more air, hopefully the air bubbles join together, and eject them plus any excess liquid. Hope this helps.

I come back everyday for scan but the egg is not growing that fast n diff size, anyone encounter the same problem, any solution or suggestion, thanks
 
mc_007: Did you do ER/ET at MtE? If yes, you should be able to deduct some amount of final bill from your medisave? (or it would have already been directly deducted by MtE in your final bill?) Even at private, you can still use medisave same like the govnt/restructured hosp patients, only that you don't qualify for the grant (co-funding).
 
LookingForward - 7-8mm at Day7 of stim (Saturday?) is ok, as long as growing. It can't be so big by Sat otherwise you will be stimulated too quickly before your lining is ready. What is the growth from Sat to today (Monday)? Is your doctor concerned?

Some unevenness is expected, don't worry about it. Just focus on the lead pack (the 3-5 follicles that are the biggest in size - those are the ones that will be the focus for readiness for trigger).
 
Looking forward- when did u start ur stage 2? Today is my D17 for stage 1..going for blood test and scan tml. Was wondering when would be the 1st scan after the start of stage 2..
 
Babyjourney: FSH unlike AMH, the lower the reading the better. Mine is 3.3 at Day3 of AF

ron8129: I did not go to the ER stage..already abandon ivf and conver to IUI.. but I am paying Puregon by cash.. super siong..Dr never mention can pay via medisave..

Piglet: DHEA buy on web which my Dr recommended. Had taken for almost 2 month liao.. hope it help.
 
mc_007: OIC. IUI also can use deduct medisave, but you may have elected to "save" the option for IVF since can only use 3 times.

If you cancelled IVF instead of convert to IUI, I believe you can't use medisave to deduct total cost as cancelled cycle is not considered as one cycle.

But if you convert to IUI, it should be considered as part of an IUI cycle. What is your total IUI (procedure + puregon) cost?

Sorry can't confirm if you can deduct medisave for your IUI cycle (I would think can, but not sure!

) but suggest you call up MtE IVF centre (or your clinic nurses) & explain your situation & ask the nurses if you can claim-back puregon. The doctors won't bother with these kinda of thing - ask the nurse (they r very helpful). Call in afternoon is best as most ER/ET are in morning.

Ever since my failed cycle, I always have this problem. I will throw out after my meals. Ever I take small amount.
 
Piglet02, did you get advise from your TCM regarding this?

For me, every morning I wake up having crampy feeling after the BFN and on top of that my boobs are super sore and so full.

I have started the tcm and accupuncture again. I target to go for the next fresh in Jan but Jan is the CNY! How about you?

Does anyone has Dr HH Tan email?

Just came back from my Day 2/3 scan for my medicated FET. They detected a 5cm cyst in my last FET and terminated my ET.

The cyst shrank to 1.3 cm but the nurses don't want to let me continue my FET until I back for ovulation test and consultation with Dr Veronic tomorrow.

Dr Loh had promised to allow me to continue my FET even if there is a cyst this round. I told the nurse that but she say no. The consultation dr has the final say..

so pek chek.. I bet the Group Dr will terminate my FET cycle tomorrow.

I hope to contact Dr HH Tan and see if he can help me.

I forget to ask my TCM. Even after bfn, our body still have the hormones in our body for 1/2 months. Maybe that y ur boobs are sores
 
Ladies,

I call kkivf centre to inform today is D2 of menses and already taken a microgynon tablet.
She told me not to start now,pending for Dr Loh's advice first and let me know tomorrow.
Why so? Dr Loh already arranged me to start on my Oct Fresh cycle even told me to induce menses.
I feel sad. Me stubborn already sent an email to Dr Loh about it (hehe) and hope to receive a green light from him.
I wish to have my last cycle under his hands before he leave KKH.
*crossing fingers*

Anyone of you face the same problem as mine?

Dr Tan is see IVF pt on Tue. He will usually start about 11am. U may want to ask to consult Dr Tan tmr instead. Ask queenie to arrange.

Dr Tan arrange for me to do AMH and SIS scan. Have to clear these 2 tests first. In the mean while, just try and tiao my body.

Now wait for my next AF to do SIS scan b4 my next review with Dr Tan to see whether want to start 3rd fresh cycle. How abt you. Start fresh or FET is Jan?

I tried to call KK just now to make an appointment to see Dr Tan. They told me Dr Loh is back last night.

I am really amazed when the group Dr suspects that I might be ovulating with my 13 mm follicle. Today is Day 3 of my menses. I doubt anyone with the right mind will ask me to go for ovulation test.

The nurse say the Dr gave me 2 choices to terminate the FET cycle again or test ovulation test tomorrow and let the Dr decides. She said that I should feel lucky that the Dr agrees to see me..

wah .. pek chek.. fumming the whole day..
 
just glad that i found this thread to share my ivf experiences....you know, its really comforting to know that i am not alone, or i am not the only one doing this

yes i'm in stage 2, my 1st scan for 2nd stage is on the 7th day of stage 2 injection
 
Lilian, size looking good, don't worry about the smaller ones, next scan day 12 ? and the follicles will grow a bit more u should be triggering soon. Things r going smoothly, stay positive &amp; <jia>

U r not that bad. My d7 only got one 11 one 8 the rest are all 6 and below.

Since already reach this final week. I can only hope for the best. Thinking too much won't help matter.

I'm confused leh.. U meant 13 mm of follicle or 1.3mm of cyst? U r day 3 , I also doubt u r ovulating .. Better ask another dr.. Not everyone ovulate at the same size.. Follicle can mature from 15mm - 25mm .. So depends on individual. I rem my natural fet, took me a few scans to hit up to size 20mm and still not ovulating..I only tested positive 1-2 days later.. U might ovulate early between day 10-14 since ur follicle already so big at day3.. But could it be cyst as well? Cysts can be diff sizes too, but I'm not too sure either. Better ask dr loh to check

you are on medicated FET so by right, take D4 micyrognon.
As for me, I am having my 2nd fresh cycle. Hope you don't confuse together.

Dr Loh reply is disappointing but I still hold on with hope that he is kidding or he try to check &amp; help. If nothing else can help, it is likely to delay another few months. I am now waiting for the further information from kk IVF centre.
Can't believe kk lab is not manageable even when dr Loh's leaving is like a big change! I may have missed his boat. So upset. My looking forward to my second cycle with him for the last time is tearing down to pieces!

yeah he replied to my emails twice.
Maybe he will answer only to those going thru the FET or fresh cycle soon. I am one of them, that's why.

he answered mine too..that was 2 wks ago..he told me he squeezed too many of his patients to start in nov until its overpacked. and KKIVF is closed from 23rd dec for cleaning..dont think he wana accept more patients for fresh cycle.
 

Baby Penguin - just wanted to tell you that I developed a 5cm cyst as well while going through IVF. The consulting dr wasn't helpful at all and didn't explain anything. I banged table and insisted to see Dr Loh when the nurses told me I am likely not able to proceed with the cycle.

I saw him the same afternoon and in the end, I managed to proceed with the cycle after the cyst shrank to about 2 cm after monitoring over another 2 weeks.

Depending on who you speak to at KK, not all the nurses are exactly helpful. The nicest ones there are Angeline and Sarah. If you speak to this particular nurse (always sitting at one of the two counters) and her name starts with 'P', then forget it. She's the worst and the least helpful. Quite often, when you call KKIVF, she'll be the one who answers the phone... don't bother even asking her!

Hope you get through to Dr Loh.
