Hi Ocean, I didn't have to take any medication before Day 21. Lucrin was my Step 1. I did read somewhere that for certain hospitals/protocols, they prescribed birth control pills. Do u hv to go for briefing for ur next fresh cycle?
 
Hi sugary, do u mean u did your ET this morning? N they can only let u know if they survived on the same morning u r scheduled to do ur trf?
 
BBB - can, but if you start IVF at 40yo, you can only do 5 times fresh maxmimum, and everyone must stop at 45yo regardless of number of tries. they dun encourage old ivf mamas

i believe the government grant stops when the mama hits 40yo. Most of the info are actually on the MOH website, just need to dig & dig (obviously I am quite free).

the embryologist told me they only thaw this morning, so my embbies are a few hours old only...they thaw 4 to get 2. thaw 2 at first , one didnt make it..the other one 3 cells survived out of 5 cells, now under observation if it continues to grow...then he decides to thaw 2 more, both survived 100%.. i half hearted now..

u dont get stress ok..jiayou..
 
Sugary, how many frozen embbies do u have in total? At least U've got 2 that survived. So for that one embryo they are observing, will they be re-freezing it? Oh gosh, Now I'm getting a lil nervous about the outcome tmr morning...I hope mine won't be a wasted trip....

4 frozen before transfer. Now zero. U don't get stress.. My embbies are not Gd to begin with .. I predicted such outcome., and it really came true .. U will have 2 to transfer tmr, don't worry k

So u got no more frozen? Me left with 3frozen fr my last Ivf, all grade 4. But I didn't ask them tis time wats the grade after thawing, I still got one more frozen left after I transfer 2 for tis fet.

May I join in too? Am in 2ww as well. However, I am not as relax in fact stressed compared my fresh cycle and my previous FET. Anyone can share your experience please?

I have used up my FE, so got to start fresh cycle again... AF came today and nurse told me that I'll be on long protocol which take 6-8 weeks. I've forgotten the process of it... can anyone enlighten me, thanks!
 
Dear sistas, tdy is D5 of my puregon jab. Went accu juz nw & Dr Zou asked whether I feel bloated anot. Told her no...she seems surprise!! Muz I feel bloated by tdy?? My scan will b on thu. Abit wori!!
 
Noy, JY! You with KK? If so, KK's long protocol is:

- D21 of preceding month start lucrin
- After 14 days lucrin, scan and BT
- Then start Puregon or Gonalf
- Scan about 7 days later and see when can do ER
- Once eggs ready, ER
- Rest 1 day
- ET

Noy, i personally feel long protocol, better eggs qty and quality so your next cycle should be good! Stay positive!

Tahope, how much is your puregon dose? That might explain why she surprised.

Hi Noy, sorry to hear the news. are u with kk?

What I went tru under kk.
1st AF cycle Day 2- start microgyn tablets ( to regulate menses) for 21 days
Day 15- start Lucrin jab
14 days later- E2 bloodtest & Scan (by now new AF over)
next day- start puregon jab. Continue with Lucrin.
7 days later- 1st scan to monitor size of follicles. More puregon jabs and repeated scans till 18mm.
Pregynl Jab at O&G at night
2 days later- ER
2 days later- ET
2ww!
 
300iu is quite high. Maybe thats why she surprised. But sometimes bloatedness dont come so soon one. Mine start only around D7. Dont worry, dont stress, you need be most relaxed to grow eggs. Take some eggwhites starting now, should help.
 
heatbeats, I think because this is my 2nd failure, I am better managed of my emotion but I have been having problem to sleep throughout the night after I have tested negative on thursday. Very sad...

How many dpt are you now?

Last sat means 1/10? Then why not u go for ur BT to ensure is reali bfn? Wat if is bfp then u may need more support?
 
Just said my crampy feeling getting better only. I sudden have this sharp pain. Thought need to go to the loo but nothing. Should I go to O&G or should monitor.....
 
Linda, no need. Don't have to deceive myself. Today AF is quite a lot today. Cannot be implantation bleeding.

I believe that those who do ivf will somehow able to tell if the embbies are still growing inside because we are so careful of every single step we do during the 2ww.

Piglet, have you thought of doing the hpt?

Today is my D11 after ER and 2 days of my last pregnyl jab. Hear that with this jab my hpt will given a false result.
My crampy pain usually coming in the night. But today the pain is like my mens coming.

Ya u can only test Hpt 4 days after ur last pregnyl jab.

U have the same mentality as I have during my fresh cycle. However it's better to do bt for a final closure. The nurse would need to double confirm too.
