Clb so funny.. I laugh out when see her reply on my behalf to piggy... No lah.. Me not so gd student else will drink her medi during cycling too..;p.. Goh, our apptment is same day but clb is on the 4th May.. Wht time is ur appointment on 3rd May? So u intend to see kk or when change to doc cheng? Btw gals, r u all starting to drink ammum or frisomum? To give bb a more nutrious environment.. Someone say they also eating obinmin.. Not sure really gd or not?

Nope..measure once early morning before u get up fr bed to do anything.. Best to use bbt thermometer n not the normal one but i feel no need take bbt for us who take ivf treatment as will give u more stress and may not be accurate since we dun conceive naturally..

Pls dun meassure bbt as u never meassure before prior ur cycle so u wun know ur range.. Different pp react differently..so is hard for us to advise u unless u know ur usual bbt last time.. If u r new to this, there is no data for u to compare with so no pt to meassure too..;)

I feel so much better after tok to doc zou..n decide not to see any gynea until my scan on 3rd may as doc zou say worry some pp when go for virginal scan due to early stage, they cant find much and keep sway the stick inside here n there.. This may result ur womb to contract without ur notice and hv spotting so i decide to wait till 6th wk then scan.. At least i hope they can scan via tummy and i can see my bb heartbeat by then...;) doc zou told me abt ur case too.. She say u r pregnant and now pray hard that ur hcg reading will double by thursday..

Yah dr zou was mentioning abt someone hvg hcg of 2207!! She say today got two person doing bt. She keeps track. Quite amazed by her. A sisterly cum motherly figure.

hi sistas, any one can share on KK procedure - as in how many days are the puregon jabs.

Was looking at the date, if i start my puregon on 22 apr, and my next appt is on 29 apr for the scan, when is the expected ET date? Cos i am worried if its falls on 2 May which is a PH.

Any advise?

i saw dr zou's 'tick' on her calendar too.. she keeps track of her patients & she has more ticks than crosses

. She's really caring too. I can't speak Mandarin well so i dun get to chit chat w her, but i can hear her give advise to the rest of the gals, so caring. make me feel bad for not telling my mum abt our journey & not having her beside me.
 
76 - don't worry. as was sharing w/ itjabi earlier, flu around d5pt apparently is one of the signs of BFP. It lasts for 1-2 days. Good luck!

Me not in purple.. Me in a grey coat with black shirt inside, and together with hubby at the counter waiting for medi.. Then saw a pink top lady come in and tok to the uncle say she wait for sometime at the coffeeshop le..;) didnt see u leh.. Maybe u r at the tv area? Wonder is the pink lady jt as that time the timing is 7:30pm when i left.. Wht time u reach? Ya, she is the 3rd person know abt my bt result after i inform my hubby and mummy.. She is so motherly to chat with..;) btw, she feel my pulse and say can feel my pregnancy pulse very strong.. I was so surprise as that is the first time she say that after feel my pulse.. I feel so happy to hear that..She is real good sinseh...;)
 
today i was at Dr zou clinic and she's in high spirit! and she did mentioned about a few bfps cases and i was like "ya ya ya, you are very famous in Forum" haha

I am also on a new fresh cycle and its my first IVF. (getting nervous) I started Lucrin yesterday and I am also with KKH seeing Dr SF Loh. Glad to find cycle buddies here... ? ^_^ My next appt with KKH is on 3rd May for BT and Ultrasound. What about you guys?

Saw that a few of u are talking about Dr Zou for accu? Where is the clinic? I've been taking chinese herbs for the last 3 months.... Is accu recommended?
 
J03, she shld be referring to me lor..i called her this afternoon & told her my hcg. I see her for my FET 3 yrs ago & strike under her so is my 2nd time success. she ask me not to worry too much cos sometimes high does not mean triples or twins maybe one sac with heartbeat the other did implant no heartbeat, so anything can happen. Just keep our fingers crossed. My appt is in the morni 9.30 for scan, yrs? clb is on the 4th so can only see u..

indeed dr zou business very gd, fr last time only 2 beds till 4 beds & the acu price still the same shows she has a good heart & everything she do for the patients as she did not wan her patients to wait long & not to earn more..

Ron, i told my mum on my IVF journeys cos i need her support..if one time success still can fight the battle alone but once fail cycle really to pour out to someone close to yr heart..maybe now u can pick up the courage to tell her who knows will be positive news to share with her

Yeay! More cycle buddies! I'm on day 14 lucrin and starting gonal f on the 22nd just like tcc..
I haven't seen any tcm to prepare my body and now I'm getting scared if my body isn't ready enough to get bfp like the sisters here.. Always afraid of eating herbs cos I WILL definitely puke them out.. But I don't mind acupuncture la..

To sisters seeing dr zou,
Do u think I can still see her at the stage I am in right now? Am i too late? Is she gonna give herbs to eat? Can she put them in capsules instead(I'd rather get injected a gazillion times than having to swallow smelly powdery stuff)?
Oh, and most importantly, can she speak English?

Ya, i also dont like chinese herbs initially. Especially those that you need to bring home and prepare yourself with a claypot. Which I did eventually. Cos I had two blocked tubes and minor endometriosis. Did my laproscopy in Nov last year and my friend recommended me to strengthen by body taking chinese herbs. Therefore I started taking since Dec.

IT tasted really bitter in the start, thankfully they can add in dried longans and red dates to improve the taste slightly.

I am also curious on the accu. If it helps I will call first thing tomorrow... hehe...

By the way Silsilly, are you taking any supplements/ particular food right now? Or is there anything we should avoid? How are you coping with the Lucrin so far? Not much feeling right?

Really totally lost as its my first time and really thankful of all the valuable advise/help from the ladies in here ^_^
 
Hello kkivf gals.. Got a question to ask..
I thought I have posted this question but can't seem to find my post. Im planning to embark on IVF at KKH. Thinking its good to go KKH to do all neccessary tests at subsidised rates first, before finally going to KKIVF (request for Dr Loh)? That I understand will not be subsidised at all.. Which is the best day to go KKH for tests? Heard its Day 2 of period to do those tests? Is this correct?
 
Tanny: I think it depends if it is attn to KKIVF directly & your med condition.
Most of us here are Private Patient, means we choose to see our chosen doc. Why not you give a call to the Polyclinic to find out where r they directing you to in KK
 
76; don't worry too much abt the flu. My flu was very weird. One moment dripping like pipe. Then suddenly okie. I was sneezing so bad really was demoralized. But suddenly it vanished after abt 3 days. Ron is right think it is a normal symptom during 2ww

Think u falling sick... Better drink more water.. See that time the number of durians u eat, i already so worried for u.. Keep tell u dun eat too much as later fall sick.. Best is 2-3 seeds will do...rest more today k...

Tanny: hope u see this...Maybe this will help...Go to poly and tell them ur issue on conceiving...They will refer u too KK subsidise clinic...From there they will do test like D2 Blood test, D21 Blood test, Ultrasound scan & HSG as well..But of cos this test depends on the dr.. U can request if u wan...I am not too sure whether the Poly will refer u to the Clinic D Fertility Clinic straightaway or just the subsidise clinic 1st...U can also request for the HIV blood test & to check on Rubella Immune Test which is needed for IVF which could save u cost a little...

The HIV test must be valid for 6 mths before u embark on IVF ...u may need to redo if its over 6 mths...

If u referred to the subsidise clinic 1st..after all ur test is done ...they may refer to Clinic D...

Wish u all the best...But remember all the test I hv mentioned will depend on the dr's request.

Yah, i think so too..plus i stopped my vit C totally after ET..i also dunno why..maybe lie there too long, never walk around so forgot abt vit c..coz usually in the AM, after my kids sleep, i will make a cup of VitC/Zinc and drink infront of PC..now i seldom sit infront of PC, so out of sight, out of mind. Just sms my gynae, he said see GP and tell him i m doing ivf, and to prescribe safe medcinie.maybe i go see doc later

I know hw u r feeling cos it is oso my 1st time.. Scared is the word rite? But I can tell u tt tis is the rite place to b in.. Cos the sisters here all very helpful.. To the extend, I can almost visualise hw j03 make her chicken essence.. :-D..
I m oso with dr Loh.. My 1st scan is on 29/4.. Hang ard here more so tt we can hv each other for support, yah..

76: try not to take gp medicine during this 2ww. When I had sore thoart I gargle with salt water it helps. Then take tea/decaf tea with honey helps the thoart. The sore thoart will disappear. Don't take so heaty stuff for awhile. N drink loads of water

Hi Queenie & Daintreez - welcome and glad to have more cycle buddies. Today is my D18 of lucrin and starting on puregon this coming fri. Btw, i took AL to rest at hme.. stress level at work is unbearable.

Aside to other sistas, izit common to experience pain at this stage during the lucrin jabs? i hv pain for the last 2 nites..not sure why thou? Izit due to the follicies growing?
 
JT/J03 - I guess i didn't see you this round @ dr zou. I arrived early y-day 650pm & the pink top lady walked in & asked if she can wait at the coffeeshop. I guess she must have waited until 730..

btw, i heard dr zou (my mandarin level - can listen, cannot talk) tell the lady next to my bed that sometimes even on Wed off day she will open accupunture side for a few hours coz some ladies due to ER/ET. I find that she's very dedicated to help the ladies achieve their dreams.

I just called KKIVF. They told me Dr SF Loh doesn't see subsidised patients, only private.
But I thought KKIVF is already private. Its only at the Clinic that we enjoy subsidised rates for all the tests...
So private patients means dont even go to the KKH clinics but go to KKIVF centre directly?

Saw SF Loh names mention a few times here.. are most of you under SF Loh?

How much will all those tests & investigations cost in all? I haven't really done many tests except a blood hormone test last year.

The lucrin hasn't given alot of problems.. But after my very first jab I kinda developed some diarrhoea which went away very soon.. I did get extremely energetic and kinda happy in the first week of lucrin and was exercising cos I felt that I had too much energy.. In the second week, I start getting a lil weak.. Dunno why.. Maybe its cos of my period la.. But pretty much everything is the same lor..
I've been taking folic acid and vitamin b supplements.. That's about it.. Since now I'm gonna stimulating my ovaries, I've included lotsa protein in my diet.. Milk, yoghurt, tuna, green leafy vegetables, v8 juice etc...
If you can exercise while on lucrin, it will be good for your circulation.. But it is advised that u take exercise to a minimal when you are on puregon/gonal f as you might get ovary torsion where your stimulated enlarged ovaries can get twisted during heavy exercise..
Hope it helps.. Do you have any other regiments that you do in preparation for ivf besides Chinese herbs?
 
Tanny: yup Dr Loh dun see subsidised patient...The drs in Clinic D r mostly from IVF actually...but not Seniors though..So it can be Dr Tan, Dr Marianne or Dr Veronique...

Clinic D is not IVF centre...it's a subsidise Clinic...
 
do u ladies still go to work during the injection stage? im a newbie so dont really know the terms.. i read that one can get really uncomfortable and also as a lot of times need to go hospitals, some choose to quit, or stay at home..or can take leave?im considering if i can take 2 week leave which i doubt if my company will approve. how do u ladies deal with this? or are your companies supportive? not sure if i wan to disclose the reason for taking long leave to my company.... sigh.. how huh...

if seek ivf at kkivif with dr loh, means my delivery will be at kkh is it as private patient and the baby will be delivered by dr loh is it?
