Darling sistas... thanks for all your encouragements... I felt so tensed juz now. Moreover, my boss fm UK came down today.. I was rushing like mad fm KK to Office. Think my brain couldnt function properly. Juz now dun even know wat i was saying to him... I can only remember I blah blah blah but duno blah simi... hahaha

Went for my progesterone bt today.. 30+ but doc not giving any addl support... also BT changed to 1 Oct - Children's day...

Congrats on ur BFP! Hooray. Wah...Sept really BFP month lei. Hopefully the rest of the year will be full of BFPs too yah. hehehe. Twins? Can i hv some bbdust too.
 
winnie: like what Panda and grumpus said, dun worry so much. angela must hv her gd reasons transferring two. Besides, a lot of things are really beyond our control.

I was desperate to BFP so i transferred 3 Top grade embies...HB insisted two and I insisted 3... on day of ET, HB was not with me and I transferred 3...
I jus wanted to maxmise my chance you know...

So the rest is history as I hv prev shared...
All 3 implanted, hv heartbeats but subsequently 2 lost their HBs within a week...
It seems that its all God's plan...

when HB and I knew all 3 made it, we had mixed feelings and fear consumed me and I cried for days...
When the two didnt make it, i burst into tears in front of Angela and Dr Paul too...
so in the end, God makes the decision for us.
But dun do sthg with the consequences you both are not ready for...
 
pinkD - thanks! I believe God knows my fear & He has protected me very well. I'm day 8 of stimulation and I dun have much bloatedness or any discomfort. I still feel very normal. I wanted to maximise my chance & was mentally prepared to transfer 3, even hubby also say to transfer 3. maybe I'll talk to hubby again, if we decide to transfer 3 I'll let Angela know on Mon. meantime I'll continue praying & let Him guide me

i been feeling rather down n having bad ms and fatigue for the past months.. mia for quite some time... finally i've cleared my hurdles ....

sisters - thanks for hearing me out today, its just not my day today & I really can't think properly. I sat in the office the whole day with no work done! I was almost crying in office already but swallow back all my tears. I'm much better after pouring my rants here
 
winnie: i was quite a wreck during stimulation, 2ww and 1st tri...wahaha like most of the time hor?
Really, must relax...there are only so much we can do and control...
 
pinkD - I was quite cool during suppresion & thought this is just a piece of cake. I was so wrong after the first scan & now. more things for me to worry

Your numbers r good. Don't need to worry. Like what grumpus n the rest said, it's the quality n not quantity that matters. Out of my 21, 12 fertilized. Grumpus had 15 with 12 fertilized. This clearly indicates that more doesn't mean better. So stay positive k! I'm rooting for u

Interesting I just found out I have an Anteverted (tilted forward) womb just now during ET. Doc said it's very common n no need to worry. I'm just surprised that it's the first time over the years that a doc tells me this.

Initially I didn't want to take the med to guard against OHSS since I dont have much bloated feel. Just wanted to have less drugs in me as much as possible. But during scan, doc saw a small bag of water in me already. Hence to play safe I guai guai take it now.

this time it's a baby boy.... i was quite shocked cos have always tot it should hv been a gal cos i used to prefer savory food for my first one and this one also the same....

the onli diff is i have no pimples, less oily skin when i was expecting my elder gal... hee.. kinda of sad at times...


how abt u? gal or boy for ur elder gal?
 
pink addict, u only need one egg to make it for transfer.. dun think too much.. i was like u... follicles expectation was high... stimulate i think 6 follicles... in the end on day of Er was 13 follicles... dun worry k... must relax.. talk to ur follicles to grow... have faith in them...

Congrats on moving on to Stage 2! With dr loh, we have no choice but to accept such delays. He's just too popular. Today I had to wait an hr before he could make it as he was called off for a day surgery. He was telling me the nurses made a mess with the scheduling this morning as suddenly 5-6 couples were here at abt the same time n then there's delivery n now a huge gap between ET. But he's worth the wait. I didn't feel anything much after ER n during ET.
 
pinkaddict if u r visiting kkh, i do experienced remarks from one male dr who says my stimulation was poor n i might hv to stop this stage... at tat time i was terribly upset... lucky when they up the dosage, follicles grew but still slow... lucky the african femkale dr was nice to encourage me... during the last few days of stimulation, my follicles grew out of my expectation n now i still hv 5 frozen grade 4 and transferred 2 grade 5... so dun be upset by the dr... must stay positive and ur follicles will grow n grow! ;)
 
Karen, yes I m with KK. Juz now was the african female dr who talked to me. She is quite nice indeed juz tat the expression on her face like not very pleased like tat lei.

She never up my dosage wor... continue 300iu for 3 days then go back on Mon again.
 
Syrah... I was abit scare initially coz I thot u, Fi and Winnie all have so many follicles. I m the only one with so few... so I feel like crying when I came out of the consultation room. Now with all the sistas telling me that I should be ok... I m not so tensed now.

Called my DH and told him I only hv 11 follicles, he asked me "no good ar?"... hahaha...duno to laugh or to cry

I agree that husbands can sometimes be hopeless! I was so angry with hb as he continued smoking all the way till ER. He did cut down but for me it shld be totally abstinence. It just doesn't strike his thick head that we need gd quality sperms from him. His SA analysis shows that he's tetratozoospermia and hypospermia. I really felt like 'huang lian po' nagging at him till I decided to just close an eye n pray for the best. The fertilization today showed 4 grade 4 and 8 grade 3 (grade 5 being the best). I'm happy already since each fertilized is a hope on its own. I feel that it's important that the relationship between hb n wife not be strained as a result of the IVF process so compromise n give n take is needed. If forcing him to do his absolute best in doing his part for IVF n ended up with us quarreling, then it defeats the whole purpose.

My hb didn't even go with me for the scan though he was at home loh. Think they really have no clue what's not n what's not. Mine only showed real excitement today at ET! Hahaha!
 
Hi ladies under SF Loh,

is there any ppl switch to another gynae after 12 weeks of monitoring?? Do we need to sign up any check-up package with dr? pls advs yr exprience.
