Rose, sounds like good news for you. Read that tml is your BT, meaning by tml will know preggy anot right? feel so happy for you when i was reading through the thread.
Nadia, since you've chose IVF, how come still need to check for block tubes? according to my gynae, she say no need leh. Can tell me why you opted for IVF instead of trying out IUI?
I was told in kkivf, IUI is about 15-25% success whereas IVF is up to 45%. the nurse told me one.

ineedmiracle: I was referred to Clinic D for spotting in 2008. Then since I was on full dosage of clomid in 2004 and no gd result; Dr ask me whether want to do SO-IUI or IVF in 2008; I told her IVF rather than SO-IUI; my concern is the % of success and also I dun wan to waste time & $$, consume too much meds & jabs; so might as well straight to IVF. Then she say k might as well check ur tubes, do the E2 test. So I did it based on the dr's advice.
There's also another fren of mine; just went to KKH recently; Went for HSG test too this week; Also advise by Dr. She also embarking in IVF after all test done under Clinic D.
Me from KKIVF under Dr Sadhana; Starting my cycle this mth;
Not sure why ur gynae says no need..maybe u wan to check with the dr again.

Hi hoping, yes, its my 1st IVF. Was quite unsure of the success then, but decided to give it a go.
Had 2 embryo transferred on ET, then headed straight home and had a very deep 3 hours nap. Next day went for short window shopping and ever since almost stay at home every day. I do drink plenty of water, more than 8 glasses definitely. And slow motion, like old granny. Sit down also slow slow. Only during the constipation period, I too impatient, exerted some force to clear bowel. Sleep early and wake up quite early. Had quite a relaxed 2weeks.

I'm on referal by polyclinic, which means the next time i go Clinic D, I might get a different gynae? I have to go for blood test on d2, d21. Then a ultrasound scan on the 6th week i.e 23rd July, then after that they will arrange a gynae to explain about my report on that day too. Will it be too late to ask about HSG test?
I'm still thinking after I've confirmed converting to IVF, should I request for Dr Loh? Corresponded with him via emails and he sound very nice. But I guess can't expect much of him time as he is real busy.
What do you think of Dr Sadhana? Hows the waiting time?

maybe you can share what you eat/do to prepare for IVF. I hope I'm not too late to start preparing my body. Most likely will go for IVF, cos agree with Nadia, don't wish to waste much time and $$ and to consume so much med and jabs.
Will discuss with DH tonight and see how it goes.

Rose, can share with us the grade of ur embryos that u transferred?
There was a BT bef the preg BT, was there a adjustment to the dosage, cos I was thinking a increase in the dosage means embroys nt doing well is it. Cos i was reading up some info n come across this article.

I also got referral frompoly actually..Yup diff dr all the times..But sometimes u may be lucky...u get the same dr..that wat's happen to me in 2008..Dr Kelly Loi..

I didnt ask Dr Loh during my ET on the grade, coz I was too bladder full and uncomfortable when the other doc pressed on my tummy. But the doc who pressed on my tummy did say very good coz I had a full bladder, seemed to make the transfer easier. Dr Loh very skillful, he did mentioned that hetransferred two best embryo.
faith, aft the blood test on progestrone, no change to my HCG jab. No calls fr KKIVF on the status too.
Ineedmiracle, I did not choose IVF, Dr Loh wanted me to do SOIUI initially but my eggs grew too many, so on the last scan, the docs suddenly decided to swap me to IVF programme. Thats how I embarked on IVF journey.

Preparation for IVF wise, nothing in particular, except that I have been constantly exercising thru swimming before all the programme. To make myself fit. And also maintain a healthy lifestyle, sleep early and eat well.

Why you choose ivf instead of iui huh ? Is it becoz the pecentage is higher ? i did iui 2 rounds before i do ivf.. both ok.. just iui less invasive... your sis ok ?

balroggal. as long as its not fresh blood, maintain a positive tots. i know its hard, sumtimes i tend to feel tat way too. btw i read fr a website saying tat implantation takes 6-10 days aft retrival so if transfer is done 2 days later, it takes abt 4-8 days aft et.
recently i hv no appetite. before lunch or dinner wl feel very hungry bt in the end can't finish my food. mayb i tink too much...

Judebabe: Yup % a concern..also i dun wan to waste time leh...Clomid full dosage stil no result..so might as well embark on IVF..higher % ..of cos not 100% confirm..but still might as well..take the max level..

Pink, HL milk is a bit cold, but I dun immediately drink out from fridge, and also not in the morning, I usually drink in the late afternoon. Fruit juice and honey drink are not cold. I also think better not drink cold drinks too much, but sometimes body a bit warm esp the back.
Blissful2010, for me, the 1st ww symptoms are a lot: bloated tummy, sore boobs, enlarged tummy area, nusea, more saliva when seeing food but eat little bit gets very full, constipated, a lot of gas. But all these are highly likely due to the side effect of pregnyl jab.
My 2nd week symptoms after the last jab, esp 3 days after, have lessen. Only frequent urination at night(ard 3 times) and slightly bloated tummy (but not as bloated as the 1st ww). Basically I would say not much symptoms, or in fact no symptoms at all for me.

When i went for the day 8 scan at gonalF stage,..... the nurse says it is 10.5mm.... because it is only day 8( thursday)... according to nuh's protocol, anything above 8mm means can do ivf alreadi....
So i did nothing cos( still have 1 week to ET for it to grow) so didn't go to dr zou for accuptunture.... usually, it will help... did that for my FET...
but ET day, instead of seeing anything above 10.5mm, it shrink to 8.8mm... of course i am mad but it is too late liao.... i didn't know it wld shrink a week later?
So... maybe for yourself.. maybe you want go accpunture or use heat pad lor..

Hi sisters, after reading the recommendation. I went to see Dr Zou too. She acupuntured for me but neva give me any medication wor. Plus she asked me to go back and see her twice a week. Is it same for all the sisters here?

didn't know lining can shrink also.
I remember my lining was also a bit slow to thicken but still acceptable standard. I took durian n spirulina during ivf time. I continue with spirulina up till now
it is good source of protein too n any other vit that lacking in our normal food intake.
In fact when i have no appetite during all this time I think spirulina help the baby to keep growing well.
Sometimes ago someone in this thread was asking about ensure milk. The highest protein of all ensure type is those pack kind as milkshake. It has 120 protein in that concentrate pack. I tried both vanilla and choc. Both nice. Very thick then I will dilute it with low fat milk.
I have no bloatedness n no symthoms during 2ww n after bfp. No MS. Perfectly well n energetic
I used daiso travel heatpad during 2ww but please don't use just with 1 layer. It is very hot. I stick inside a hand towel folded it many times n put inside small pillow before on top of my clothing and I still feel it warm enough.
Don't overheat the tummy area as it is no good for the embbies. Even when I need to cook, I will stand pretty far from the stove.

ineedmiracle... u very good...ask all the questions for me... hahaha. I also just starting to see Dr Loh fm KKH. Everything seems alien to me and I dont know where to start from. So envy the mommies here...we have to jia you and become a mommy soon too
