just out of curiosity, how did u 'barricade' the twins on a queen sized bed? my girl used to roll right off the bed lor, lost count how many times already, lucky she got a hard head :p
 


nm: What is menogon used for? At what stage do I need that?
I was quite blur with the preparation I need to do for Gonal-F...the mixing etc...

mixing? angela helped to mix the first bottle for me. second bottle i mix myself at home.

in yr schedule, does it contain menogon? if not then no need i guess
it helps the eggs to grow bigger ...

and yes i jab three at the same time... but mine is at night cos hubby jab for me...easier if he is home after work.
 
hey judebabe, dun give up. must keep ur spirit high and the embies will hang on tight to u. stress and foul mood will affect ur physical health. Keep the hopes up!

hey Rose, i'm also 3 days from my BT. i can't tell if my discharge are clear or not because i'm on Crinone, the progesterone insert do "leak"
whitish discharge.

Pink, dun worry too much, think of 1 step at a time. Menogon same needle as suprefact, but leaves a stinging bump, like bee sting ..hee btw Menogon is extracted from menopausal woman's urine :p that's what i read lah.

Today i tested HPT. It's a positive (yeah!). But i'm keeping myself grounded in case it's a false positive from last week's HCG jab. I'm gonna test everyday till my BT! hahah, i know abit siao but nver in my life tht i see a plus sign on the HPT! happy, excited and.. hopeful.

kittychan: While on Lucrin, i did had some insomia... wake uo 1-2 times per night... but ot sure it's due to Lucrin or not... so far i got no major side effects...

PINK: helloo.. tks for ur sms.. and glad u got good news! wow... mini follicles.. KKivf nvr tell me anything except ok to go for second jab.. fors the scan they opnly say lining is thin..usually less than 8mm is good... tat's all..

workingwife: maybe u can try eating something when u feel nauseous... sometimes this may be indicative tat u r hungry or u might nt be feeling hungry... it works for my last pregnancy... ;)

oh ya, i bought the brazil nut fromPat's oven... got a few locations, such as vivo, parkway, city sq mall... 100g per S$4... they also sells other nuts.. i bought their macadamia nuts, "it's hot feel" and yummy!

Twinkle Belle: i guess.. min is 2-3 pcsof brazilnuts, but if it's not too heaty for ur body then increase to 4-5 pcs if u can... brazilnuts also got anti-aging properties...

Cheyenne: nice to meet u..so coincidence... we are starting puregonon the same date, 10th June...

Panda: u may wish to take pics as tummy grows along the way... very meaningful.. vei nice memories when u look back the next time after u delivered... i did go for a photo shoot with my hubby during the 2nd trimester which is uaually the best time to enjoy pregnancy...

just a little update abt myself... this morning i drank ensure... after drinking i felt so full! cos it says it can be a meal replacement from the tin label... just wonder how to drink immunocal, then drink ensure milk... sure super full.. oh ya.. i still drink chicken essence in the morning...how to slot in immunocal into the breakfast? sigh any advise...

another blur thing i did tis morning was... call kkivf cos i tot the small bottle of lucrin bal is insufficient to last till the first scan for puregon stage... guess wat.. the nurse called back and says it's sure to be enough cos the small bottle supposed to last for 28 days... as for the syringes.. she ask me to buy at any pharmacy...heee...

no lah, where got super woman. those super woman are those who are preggie, take care of older kid AND still work!
my #1 is a girl. i think the age gap of 3 yrs is quite ideal cos my girl is quite independent now and i can actually rest quite a bit.

oh and when u go pharmacy and buy the syringes, ask for insulin syringes and make sure the package does not state "short needle". i didn't know there are different needles, the pharmacist also blur and didn't know got different one. so i ended up with the short needle, lucky i showed the ivf nurse and she told me is the wrong one! had to go back to get them changed.
 
hee, thanks for the well wishes, but still need BT to confirm. Today shld be Day 11, taking ET as Day 0. i know Day 11 stil abit early but i told hb, dun care, even if it's false positive, im gonna keep this stick forever until i'm finally pregnant, no matter how many tries! keehee

Im not sure leh.. The ones I saw in SG d front is for bb n d back is for older kid. Maybe there are really for bb of same age for front/ back prams.

Pandawife, the triplet stroller is indeed a headturner!! Wow 3 cots...actually quite alot of things to buy for u coz everything times 3 but triple the joy!! I think i am buying the combi well comfort coz it's light, only 4.3 kg, easy for my hubby to carry up and down the stairs.

Just faith so u may get a confinement lady too. U have someone in mind le?

Skies - you must be refering to the Phil & Ted stroller. P&T strollers have options to add on a 3rd seat IRRC so can actually sit 3 kids in some modules.

Panda - so exciting!! I wondering now how to convince my husband to implant 3 embies when its our turn. I don't think he will allow hahahahaha

Yes, you tell the nurse that you want make appt with Dr Loh for IVF.
But for me last time, i didn't choose Dr but nurse give me appt with Dr Loh so.
 
Gan, i seem to be developing a dry cough..esp when sleeping, will suddenly wake up throat v dry and need to cough..when i m not sleeping..its ok...

tmr will double check with angela on this when i go for my jab....

feels very exhausted today....need to sleep again....
 
grumpus - the barricage are me and my hubby.. haha.. now.. my bedroom is my baby's room.. we have 2 queensized mattresses on the floor side by side.. 2 sides will be against the wall.. then, me and hubby will sleep on the other 'open edges'... so.. the two imps will roll all around and bump into each other.. and us..

poppy - hoorray!!! so happy for you.. when is your BT? excited excited!! Day 11 is quite accurate.. what did you use? clearblue? clearblue seems to be able to test very low amts of hcg..

Panda: just fyi... my gynae prescribed me some "safe" medicine when i was sick last time... she says when u are sick, betterto eat medicine, if not ur immune system is low then also not so good for baby... as for the cot, i do heard from some mums tat their kids when they are older also refuse to sleep in their own bed... so their kid sleep with them in their room with the mattress...

maybe u dun buy 3 cots first... see if ur frens got spare cots for u? just buy new mattress for the used cots? just my two cents worth..

iloveshoes: i'm not starting the immunocal yet... cos i wanna finished my eggs first.. i abit kiasu.. stock up some trays.. i will finish up the egg whites and start the immunocal on ER? or maybe if i can't stand the bloatedness then i start my immunocal straightaway... another reason is too many things to eat in the morning... sigh.. cos no one can advise me the sequence of the food to eat in the morning yet... hee

Mic1980: My admin got 2 of us..But most things they depend on me actually..Before I embark on IVF..I told my bosses..To be fair to them..Not sure on how ur boss will react though..I know diff co. takes it differently..hope ur boss will be understanding...;-)
 
Karen- Like u, i got alot to drink. Usuually i drink 2scoop of ensure+1 pkt of immuocal in the mrn, 3 egg whites, half boiled. Then aftn i take another 2 scoop of ensure+ 1 pkt of immunocal. I am actually at d6 of my stimulation, on 300 unit of Gon F. Bloatedness quite bad.
Then for chicken essence, i drink ard 11 plus, before lunch. If not, i steam with chicken and red date+ woffberries for lunch.

I need report to 5 diff. people leh (1 GM, 4 SBM) as my company dun have HR department.
Still thinking get what excuse to tell them.
Somemore 1 of my SBM very kepoh, if i tell him i want embark on IVF, sure ask alot.
Anyway i dun wish to let them know until BFP.

If I want to do IVF, I will have to do a series of fertility test, blood tests first?

Read that if referal from polyclinics to kkh will have subsidised rate for fertility tests. Is it true?

If yes, can anyone advise me on the price difference? Cos I understand that if i go straight to dr loh, price maybe on the high end, not subsidised, but waiting time is shorter, as compared to referal from polyclinics.

would like to make a comparison in the price.
please advise.
 
BB rabbit... u nick meansu would like to hv a rabitt baby is it.. hee... actually i also hope i can hv a baby rabbit and cos me and hubby are old rabbits... lolz
 
hi ineedmiracle: if referral from polyclinis hv subsidised rate for tests done b4 ivf program... but once u embark on ivf, u r considered a private patient...

i think the cost difference is at least 30-40% cheaper for subsidised rates...

just an example, i did my coloscopy at private, i pay 500 cash after some medisave deduction while i pay less than 100 cash at kkh...
