hmm.. i dunno if the baby heartbeat will increase by the weeks..bt my 7weekplus scan..babies heartbeat at 160.. gynae says its good.
 
working wife, congratulatons on having twins, keep talking to bb and ask both to grow well.

I don't know abt my bb heart rate coz dr loh never tell me. He only give me a good sign when i asked if my bb heartbeat is ok.

nm: How's the start of 2ww? ate enough good food? I went by Eu Yan Sang and bought two boxes of chicken essence. They contain wolfberries and red dates and I think they are good for keeping the womb "warm"?

Poppy: hello! Wow time flies...it's halfway thry 2ww. I think I wont be able to wait till d14 to test too...maybe can test D12? I hope its ++++ for you. We are starting on the antibiotics today. Hubby has two types to take and I have a course of Doxycycline to take for 7 days. Another pill to add on to the yucky things to eat...
 
Pink: hihi u went care today? Me so far so good . Jus bloated ... Only feel comfy when I lie down ;) u bought chicken essence from eu yan sang? ContAins wolfberries too ? Did u ask whether for our situation can drink? If can I will buy that n skip the wolf berries drink ;)
 
nm: i rber the list of do's and dont's provided by our sisters here encourage us to take longan and red dates. All these have "warming" properties. Since we can take chix essence, thought why nor marry all the good ingredients into one? Plus, there is discount now.. 2 boxes for $28. I think we shd be able to drink. As long as it is not "cooling" (like herbal tea) or caffeinated, it shd be safe?
Rest more and dun walk too much ok?

my dr told me anything above 100bpm is good, so yr little beanie is on the borderline.
chin up, stay positive and healthy and rest more.

there really isn't anything u can or could hv done cos it's just the embbies development...
 
nm: I undstd. My grandma took care of me since young and wanted very much to be a great g/ma.
I cant bear to tell her we r gg thru IVF too...so will only break the news to her when its successful!
Rest well. Read a gd book or watch a funny movie!

I am also embarking on my 1st IVF with TFC in Aug.
 
he has to be 12 days and myself 7 days.
He has two courses to take. Ning said it is a slight growth...and said it would clear up after this dose. I hope so...

At 6 weeks.. Bb heartbeat is slower.. It will only increase as it progress to 8 weeks.. I think 102 is ok.. What is the heartbeat for yr the other bb? If i recall at my 6wks scan.. The heartbeat is abt 112plus if im not wrong...

please stay positive and update us once u visit dr Cheng next week. Am with tcm since march. It's my 1st ivf and I am excited yet worried. starting my bcp by end of jun and will start jabs by early aug. Meanwhile the wait continues...

Thanks All Dear Sis for answering my queries. Guess God blessed me with higher pain threshold n tolerance n hence I dun feel much, but when I sit dw I feel uncomfortable. Anyway today's scan shows my follicles are growing n my ER on Mon. Getting all anxious. I'm gg for HCG tonight...
So confirm my ET will be Wed? Is day of ER counted as first day? Can request to D3 instead of D2 transfer?

Btw, I'm with KK and the nurse told me I'll be given 2wks of HL starting fr ER and can request for extension to BT.

Jiayou to all my cycle buddies n we will BFP!!!

so gd, i did request HL till BT, bt the nurse say cannot, is standard 14days..haiz..sianz..followin mon go bk work sure alot ppl will ask how is it, know result already?
 
faith, when i took puregon last time i did not exp any pain or bloating... my gynae said i have good tolerance .... till hcg trigger, i started to have bloating which is very uncomfortable and lasted a week ... as a precaution, do remember to do what shared by other sistas to prevent bloating... good luck to your ER on Mon!!

i had menses cramp during 2ww, it got worse everyday and peaked at the end of the 1st wk, after that it started to subside in the 2nd wk.
supposedly implantation causes menses like cramps, so it could be good news for u!
 
Ladies,

Saw some comments of the 14 days HL from KKH.

I was also told that HL couldn't be extended. However, normal outpatient sick leave can be given till bt. Just let the nurse at KK IVF centre know your request and they will arrange the mc.

Tzac : I'm also doing my FET. Are you on medicated or natural? I'm not sure when your ET will be, it will be dependent on lining and when you will ovulate. Coz ET will be done roughly 2 days after ovulation.

For all the ladies gg for ET and ER, all the best!!! Maybe we all BFP!!!!!

Had my D13 scan yesterday, and doc managed to find the follicles after all, and hence my natural FET will continue. Yay!!!! Will be gg for another scan on Mon..now will be waiting for ovulation and will do ET!!!

Hi !!! i also think you shd not let your amah know you doing ivf.... should tell her only if BFP till first trimester.... cos old pple have expectations and we may get them unduly worried..good luck for your 2ww.... endure 12 days and go test with clear blue like what pandawide did....bloatedness is a gd sign..

caution to all ladies,,,

Dun tell your colleagues unless necessary cos save you the trouble of explaining when you get back after HL.. IF they kepo, you just say... woman's problem..

this TTC-ivf journey is a tiring one...
 
ladez doing ivf at kkh: i managed to get 18days HL. on the day of er when they wanted to issue me til 18th which is 14 days mc, i requested til bt. u can try talked to ur doc abt this cuz they r the one who gv the approval. the nurse at kkivf helped me to request so they hold back the mc on the day of er & issued me a new one on et day.

did u transferred 2 embbies during this 2nd FET..what is the grading? If I rem correctly, u did blast for both embbies?

I'm new to this forum. Just started on my Lucrin jabs. My doctor is SF Loh from KKH.
I have tried combing the archived threads to look for the recommendation on food during the IVF treatment, e.g. Brazil nuts etc.
Where is the original thread? Would like to find out more so that I can watch my diet during this period.

Balroggal - i also had menses type of cramps during 2WW. It wasn't consistent, like it comes one day then three days later come again. All the way till end of 2WW, and even after positive BT. I read that its normal. Body is going thru exactly same thing now as before yr period. Only diff is period won't show up!

TTCing - thanks dear. I transfered 3, one reached blast and the other two were not blast yet (D4). Reason becoz the blast already hatching out so they cannot wait anymore, so i actually did D4 transfer. Maybe that's also reaaon for the diff growth rate of the 2 bbs.
 
working_wife : I have got this doubt in me. Had spoken previously to Dr and he had suggested to transfer 3 as well. Saw that majority of the gals do D3 transfer.Understand that normally for Bast, the quality of the egg must be very good for the embbies to survive till D5. Did Dr suggest that you do Bast ?
 
Faith, if Er on Monday. Then consider as day 0. Tuesday day 1. Wednesday which is yr ET day is day 2. Some sistas here do ET in day 3 as different hospital has different protocols. Rest well this weekend. Dun walk abt too much just because you think Monday then do ER. Lota baby kisses and dusts to you. It is not easy to achieve this stage. Lol

My dad finally knew that I m carrying little one. He was the only one in the kitchen when I rushed to the toilet to throw up. Then after throwing up, I told hubby I want to eat durians . My appetite is good only if I order some specific food and I get to eat it. Otherwise, I feel so bland, taking hours to decide what to eat.

He din expose me. Hehe. After I left, he told my mum to ask me not to tell my nieces, bro, SIL, sister etc. Think my dad also pantang after my m/c last year. I feel relieved that he finally knew. So I really feel bad keeping from him fir the past 1mth plus.

Beside doing blast, did u do ICIS or AH? and what is the grade of your embbies and the no. of cells just before doing ET? as this is your 2nd fet, how many eggs did u thaw and how's the survival rate? do u still have any remaining eggs that u thawed again?
 
Just faith: Today is my tenth day after embryo transfer. Btw, what do AF, MC, ER means?

And what stage are you in?
 
pink: i am good..some crampy feeling and bloated feeling till last night....did nt feel like myself at all...but today bloated yes but no crampy feeling...

a little giddy ...maybe lie down too much already...

Hi nm, I am ok, bloated after jab, good appetite though. No symptoms of pregancy yet...will be going for my blood test for pregancy on sat...

You better rest well, dun strain urselves and also rem no intercourse or orgasm during these period. I din dun, had orgasm on day 2-3 after ET...then felt a bit heating pain at vaginal, dun noe whether will affect...but also no use crying over spill milk. Have to wait and see result then know.
 
nm: Maybe u can space out rests and some walks ard the hse?
I feel very tired these few days and most of the time, quite bothered with the hot flush...
period is lighter than usual which is gd coz there is no cramp.
Right now looking fwd to Wed to start stimulation...would be seeing Dr Paul at 8am.
 
rose: which gynae or hospital are u with? I am with CARE paragon.

Pink: u gettin hot flushes? drink more water ...are u doing scan on wed too? stimulation's week is fine...its during the second week where the bloating comes in
 


Pink: i had NCIS LA/ BONES/ CSI marathon the past few days so hehe...forgot all about balance...hahah i had all the water bottle/meds/snacks/ tissue/ and everything else i need next to me so hardly got up...getting lazy...hahah
