I think su_yana was asking if the protein powder with spirulina is good. I have seen some protein shakes that contains spirulina but the protein source is soy based.
Btw, does anyone still take supplements like vit c during their cycle?
Hazel, is there a ivf emergency no. from kk you can call to ask?

zaza & spiffy, i ever asked nurse leong before what happens i forget to inject in the morning & i went out to work leow.. if i did not remember wrongly, she told me is okay, inject at night when i come home.. based on this shld be okay?
zaza, no number to call, dr loh dun reply email on wkends & monday is super biz for him... shld be okay right? if i reallt missed a dosage?

Don't worry, i think you have injected lucrin not air yesterday. juat that you didn't see any air bubbles during today's first jab, that's why panic
The lucrin should be sufficient to last us, i still have quite a fair bit left in the bottle.
Tomorrow call KKIVF in the morning if the 24hrs nurse never return call.

Hazel, don't panic, there will be extra, i.e. although last 30 days but there should be surplus, similar to the gonal F pen, 900 IU but after i inject all, the nurse still manage to extract 75iu from the pen.
I have just checked the IVF instruction, it mentioned that for emergency go 24 hrs to see a doctor. You want to make a trip down?
Don't stressed out now since you are doing ER on Tuesday

gan, nurse phua told me she will call dr loh.. so far nv call me back.. she is the one who told me D30 is the last drop!
she said spotting cld be due to abrasion from yesterday's scan, or anything. i just checked, like no more leow
but abdomen feels bloated n funny
gonal-f pen can extract 75iu out? u mean u injected gonal-f yesterday though u r doing HCG?

On Thursday. my dosage is 375, so each pen i left 150
so on that day, the nurse combined two pens and draw out another 75iu from one of the 2 pens to make it 375.
I was surprised and asked her did i give myself wrong dosage how come still can draw out 75iu when it is supposed to be finished, she said there is surplus. i.e. more than 900 iu in the pen. But the surplus we can't inject as per normal, need a syringe to draw out

spiffy, gan, zaza, Rostrum, nurse phua told me dr loh wans me to do LH, E2 , prosterstone blood tests at 24hrs clinic b4 HCG tonight. N he will review the results tomorrow morning to see if I hv ovulated on my own before I know if I can proceed to ER on tues. Think I got to prepare for the worse.

spiffy, yes, he wants me to do the blood tests tonight b4 the HCG jab. i am spotting.... n i read on the website that there cld be breakthrough bleeding or ovulation may occur if i missed a dosage....
nurse phua said 25IU left means i cld hv injected air for 2 days.. just dunno which 2 days

Hi Hazel, when you injected 'air' into yourself, does the syringe has high resistance feel? Cos air does not get into subcutaneous tissues as easily as liquid thus the syringe should be very difficult to push down if it's air.
Also, did you notice any bumps at the site of injection? Air trapped in your subcutaneous tissue would definitely cause 'bubble bumps' under your skin.
Edit: One more thing, if it's air that you had injected, you would also be feeling more pain than the usual injections you gave yourself the past few days.

ppgroom, I dun feel any pain. But the fact that my Lucrin still has abt 30iu left on D30 today means that some days I injected air! Was told Lucrin can last 30days. Last 2 scans I still bring down to Kkivf nurse to check if I hv enough..

Anyway, i dont drink alcohol drinks as i am a muslim..hehehe...no worries, you did not offend me.
I think i will just get my protein from egg, milk and meat. Will not want to try any new things.
Hazel, i think if you are well supressed with Lucrin, not to worry so much. I think it will not effect you so much. I hope you can proceed for your ER soon.

Hi Hazel, i dont think missing a day or 2 of lucrin will affect suppression. Surely there will always be remains of previous lucrin jabs even if missed 1 jab?
Just a thought, is it possible to do a scan at 24 hours clinic see whether the follicles still there? That will ease your worries whether already ovulated. As long as havent ovulate, i think should be able to ER. Just my thoughts.
Dont stress out, i know its hard but in case your follicles still there, you need to stay stress free for the follicles to develop to their fullest.
