Vi4n, I also had the progesterone jab once every 3 days during my first pregnancy for the 1st tri. It was really painfully, especially when my hubby did it 4 me. I recall 1 time, it took him 3 tries to inject the needle, by then it was so blunt that the needle literally cut through the skin with a slit sound, tears just row down my eyes. He felt so bad and lost confidence in giving me jabs anymore. As u mentioned, its oil based, so use some hot towel to gently press on the site after the jab to help reduce any bruise and swell. Hang on, most pp only need it during 1st trimester
 
thanks Chin...cos i have seen 2 doc but they both give different suggestion...

Prof thinks the toxin in the tube can cause complication for implantation... so he want to remove it....

Nother doc said it is ok as i'm doing ivf... so very confusing...

so now u changed to long cycle instead of short? Ya, i'm also trying to lose weight and put ttc aside at the moment. If by next year still not preg, then might change to Dr Yong or either change hospital for another round of ivf. So you must bfp and spread baby dust to me

its ok, thanks anyway, Blissful. im just wondering KKIVF like service not so good. I called Private suite to make appt to see Dr Loh.. still now his assistant haven call me back.
 
oh, can jus email to him on any issue if you are under his care? any details (e.g. ID no) before he's willing to look at your case?

i'm having this painful shoulder pain and on off pulling pain at my belly button..but I will only see him next sat....

Getting a bit paranoid after i did the research online...

yes u can email him.
shoulder pain ok, but belly button pain..hmm...
it is normal to be paranoid, just make sure no bleeding it the most important thing.
 
chin, the nurses are very biz. some times they dun return call.

book appt to see him just go the appt line. Dun need to call his nurse.

that time I called Kkivf in aug to book oct slot. Was told is full n must wait till feb. Am so pissed, wrote to dr loh n informed him is not my fault coz when I see him in march, he did not tell me to book with kkhivf. all he did was to send n email n write a memo to kkhivf nurse n all is settled n I can start in oct.
 
last yr, I needed to ask for more mc after a procedure from my Kkh gynea. The nurse said must wait for following wk then got slot. I not happy, wrote to my gynae n he replied n asked me to go down. So I called the nurse again n said doc said slot me in n can see him. Nurse boh bian.
 
Hi ladies,

Congrats to all the BFP news and smooth nine months to all.

I officially start my IVF cycle today (D1). Grab baby dust.....all the successful news give me a boost in confidence! I am on the short protocol this time round so if things proceed smoothly, will be on the speed up mode.

KK was so packed today had to wait almost two hours! Must be bec tom they are close for holiday

Have you started your stage 2 yet? See if we can be cycle buddy. Would love to join U guys but have to go down to KK 24 hour clinic for D2 blood test. U guys enjoy yourself!

You also heard KKIVF will be closed in dec is it? Does that mean that nobody can do ER/ET in dec?
 
soon-to-be, I also have shoulder pain and belly button now and then thats the reason I did do Bhcg early.
If you come to know across why this is happening please let me know. My meet with Dr is Nov 1st long way
 
Chin, i was prescribed dydrogesterone after i was detected low level preg at day 9.

Monica, are you also seeing Dr SF Loh (KKH)? He replied my email on my queries. He said the belly button pain cld be of the expansion of the womb, so this one is not worrying.

However, as for the shoulder pain, I think you should assess whether it is unique or due to activities or your sleeping pattern.

For me, my worst fear is ectopic pregnancy as I felt the pain very badly when i lie down. Dr Loh can sense my fear so he has asked me whether i wan to see him earlier than next sat. I'm waiting for him to let me know the earliest date that I can see him to do the scan. By right, I should see him this week for the scan but cancel that coz I had earlier arranged to see him next week. Now, with this, I think I would like to see him asap to do the scan so that I can confirm it's a normal pregnancy and put my heart at ease....

Soon-to-be, My shoulder pain is not that bad. Its like nerves tingling and it goes down to my fingers. I am confident abt that its not ectopic.

I can understand your fear, good u decided to see Dr asap to ease your fear. Good luck for your scan and god bless u.
 
Monica, urs could be jus due to the hormone change...so don't worry that much.

Mine, since I'm due for first scan, I might as well do it earlier the appointment day and see whether we can see singleton or twins!

hi linda, monday i have to see gynae dr annu because prof not around after that then i will know more when to scan. Monica, u have to wait till 1 nov to see dr?

Can someone advise me how to prepare for FET. The do and don't. Does anyone know where can I buy protein powder? I'm worried
 
tang tang, protein powder can order online. 69 bucks. Later when I on pc I send u the link. Now am surfing using hp. Pm me if I forget.
 
I didn't know KKIVF would be close in Dec... there maybe a chance that my ER and ET is in Dec. But the nurse never mention anything about closing.
 
gan, it will only be closed for 1 wk for cleaning.. Dr loh will be away from 13th onwards. So the 1 wk will be that period. If the nurse did not mention it means u Will do ET before that. Dun worry.

I read your post and we are actually on the same situation. My older son is also conceived naturally via a visits at TCM at Jurong. Trying for very long and end up with IVF last year on my first try. Indeed I did get pregnant but lost in 10 weeks. I have several operations and rested for a year before I embarked the next IVF.
 
tang, will send u the link. Actually, a shop at tanglin mall sells. Is called whey protein powder. But am too lazy to go all the way there. So most likely I will order online. Where u stay or work?

my friend also told me to eat cordyceps. I just started today. most likely next wk will start cooking oats with egg white for breakfast.

Congrats to all those who BFP!!! I jus did my FET and had my BT done last fri...bhg reading came back +ve but very low..any idea wat tis means? Anyone been in tis situation before...care to share
