hi missfairylady, please do not think of giving up cos as long as you try, there will be a chance. Do rest well and build up your health, be it for the next ivf, fet or who knows natural conception. Take care and confide in us whenever u need it, we will be here 24/7 for all of the sisters here!

take care of ur self.dun eat cold food like bitter gourd,winter melon,pineapple,water melon,spicy food n oily food.more eat like toufu,steam egg with minced meat,fish,soup,spinach,brocolli.
and dun forget drink ensure milk.
when is ur blood test?so far,do u have any sign yet like sore breast.the next day after transfer i did basal body temperature to monitor my temperature.how abt u?
try to relax and bed rest if u have free time.

Congrats!! Have a smooth pregnancy! Your HCG level v high... high chance of multiples!!! My HCG level @ 18dpt oni 1000+ so think yours could be twins! hehehe!
 
hi lingling22, nope, i don't know how to read HCG level, but have read in past posts that high HCG level may have chance in twins, if i remembered correctly, develyn's HCG level is also very high and she is carrying twins.

dev, i rem reading yours was also very high right?

glad to know that u are feeling better. Just pop by your blog. Really admire your determination in TTC. Today, is my D3 of Puregon and have been suffering from headache since yesterday. And now, feeling slight bloating and very mild shortness of breath, makes me very worried abt OHSS. Because even for IUI dosage, i experienced mild OHSS already. Anyway, was trying to say, after reading ur blog, i tell myself i must really endure. Thanks! Hope u can feel better soon

Not everyone gain weight.. some even lose weight.. Arrggg.. told u take it relax liao.. dun bother abt. weight okie.. Just go with the flow.. trust me , less stress=high chance BFP...

I am not exactly stress la... oh well.. my mum commented yesterday that i put on weight. cos i been eating all the nuts and milk... I do have some extra fats around the tummy which I thought would be useful when I jab myself, at least dun feel so pain when jab into the fats la...

I am just thinking, have not start ivf already put on weight, when I start ivf then how??? i hope not to alert my working colleagues, so just thinking if I can keep it under the radar for a while...

I m still feeling the same.. juz continue to go with the DO & DON'T.. no longer matter if colleagues find out.. most importantly is BFP..
 
Hi aris... regarding your questions. Mine was a Day3 transfer. during the 2ww, i had cramps the right side, sore boobs and exhaustions. it all went away a week later but had mood swings. i did my first HPT 9 days after the transfer.

HI Lina/Fresh... have you ladies got any symptoms after the beta test? last thursday, i was told that i'd be having bloatedness and nausea feeling. but so far none. i've been moving a lot. other than my flabby tummy, i seemed to have a burst of energy unlike the 2ww. quite worrying...

Thanks for the advice. I had my first IVF with Dr Loh but the experience was no good. Thinking of switching doctor for my FET.
 
hi dev... I can understand, we now at different stages... these few days I am starting to visualise me possible having twins ... and my doctor's appt is approaching... both anxious and excited...
 
HI Irene... not worries about the weight. I weighed 72.7kg when i started IVF. That's BMI of 28+. funnily enough, i now weigh 71.2kg after the treatment. I attributed it to not moving around as much while i was working. While at home, i kept moving around with housework, grocery shopping etc...

Keep your spirits up... :)

after 2ww, i had nausea feeling. When is your 6th week scan? You may like to consult any outside gynae for an earlier scan. Normally other gynae will be willing to help you do a v scan.

I could not find anyone else who understand me, not even own family know what i am going through. Friends show sympathy when i failed but it is really not pity that i need. You started your Suprefact on 24th right and you are with KKH? How come your scan is on 6th while mine is on 11 Aug? So many days different? I am going to check with Dr. Yes, I am with Dr Loh. You too right? You will be doing your scan in Malaysia?

How come you bought your Suprefact in Malaysia? You will be jabbing Puregon and having 2WW in Singapore?

I am following Do's and don'ts closely. Have also started to drink small glass of Ensure milk and take one piece of Brazil nut daily. Didnt exercise though. Slow exercise is still ok for stage 1. What about you?

Anyone has experience rashes around the Lucrin jab and at other part of bodies? I am afraid I am allergy to Lucrin as rashes started to show on my D4 injection.

I dont sleep well at night, have nightmares too.

Hi Greenie, I have developed rashes too but i thought it's because of the stress that I have from this ivf journey. I used to have the same rash but the doc says it's due to stress so I didn't think too much about it that it could be due to allergy from Lucrin.

Thanks. Hopefully it is not the allergy from Lucrin as I don't usually have rashes unless it is from alcohol. I didn't even bought the alcohol swap from pharmacy. Will monitor for few days more. If minor, just endure. I don't want my cycle to be cancelled.

By the way, bought brazil nuts at Pat's oven, outside Cold Storage at Parkway parade. 100g for $3.80. Saw the same price of brazil nuts selling inside Giant at Parkway parade too.

I bought 300g to last till 2WW. Is it enough?

I had also bought 300g of the brazil nuts for the 2ww but I have already started munching it as I am a nuts person, and I realised that I take more than expected so 300g is insufficient for me. I went to buy more of it liao. Not sure whether taking too much will have any adverse effect, hopefully not...

If you are thin, eating brazil nuts shouldn't be a problem as it is healthy nuts. Brazil nut is one the best sources of selenium around that helps implantation. They are rich in omega-6 fatty acids, which ease inflammation, enhance digestion and improve our skin.

However, it contains high unsaturated fats and heaty for some people. I dare not to take too much, just 1 piece a day during Lucrin stage and will increase at Puregon & 2WW.

I am living in KL at the moment but will be in Singapore for my Puregon stage, ER and ET.

I also have been having trouble sleeping. It is really getting me down :-(

I am with Dr. Loh too. I am taking 2-3 Brazil nuts a day and pregnancy vitamins as well as fish oil supplements.

Hope your rash improves. I would check with KKH about it. I have red area around the injection site but goes away fast.

Not sure why your day for scan is so different. Again, I would check. We could be on different regimes though. I am on a long cycle so my ET won't be until 17th to 22nd of August.

Hi May, Too much brazil nut in 1 day is no good for your health. At max, you can only take 4-5 per day.

The nurse never asked when will be my AF once starting Lucrin. She just mentioned to come on 11 Aug for scan & BT. Are we supposed to have scan & BT after our AF?
