I just turned 28 this year. Got married when I was 23. Been TTCing since we first got married. Till now no results. Not once did we get a BFP.

Looking forward to putting a face to the people I am conversing with. Not going out today?

My colleague conceive thru IVF .. She advise me not to stress myself out .. When the time is right, God will grant me one or twins.... heehee =) Same goes to you ...

Hi usha, welcome to thread. All ladies here have the same goal as u that is beside having a wonderful DH, now we r trying our best to have a kid/kids to make our family a complete one. Altough ours may not be as smooth as those who can conceived easily but i m sure we can do it too. I m married for 4years now, trying to conceive for 3 years liao. I seek medical help after 1 years of trying at 28 years old and now gtg to embark on ivf this mth. Starting my jab on 18 june, lets pray all of us suceed very very soon.... So urself, still trying natural or considering ivf? Did u seek medical help yet so far?

Fresh, i have made appt to go dr zou 2day but cancelled coz lazy....

Hi Gals

For those who are eating royal jelly, take note that if you have cyst discovered, please discontinue to consume. Had checked with Dr Zou that it is gd that we eat royal jelly but if you have cyst and u eat, the cyst will grow bigger.

Yesterday, I went to orchard to shop too, realised singaporean was so rich, a long queue in Gucci and Prada shop. Like nothing being happened. Dun knoe if this is a good sign.

Thanks for the advice. I didn't know eating royal jelly will make the cyst grow bigger. Oh dear.... I guess royal jelly is similar to "feng wang jiang", right? I'm not sure if my consumption of "feng wang jiang" last year had resulted in the rapid development of my cyst. sigh....

I had finished the balance of the "feng wang jiang" after my operation. Hopefully the cyst will not re-development.

Hi Ros,

I've been married for 8 years already and had been trying for bb for about 5 years already. Actual tough trying is last 3 years as the first 2 years, hubby is on offshore mission. Thus, we will miss some ovulation period on some occasion.

No fertility issue except low sperm count for hubby. Doc said this is a common issue with men these years.Dr Sad is my thrid gynea already. Had regular menses, no endo for me. Nearly gone into depression and hubby wanted to bring me to see a Psychiatrist. Now I'm okie liao. Able to take failure via positive view.

Last Oct, an ovarian cyst abt 3.5cm was found by my 2nd gynea. Was really sad about it when I heard the news. Seems so many obstacles. Anyway, managed to get it removed by Dr Sad this March and I'm embarking to my 2nd fresh cycle.

I had chem preg and a BFP during my 1st and 2nd FET respectively but it could last till 5th week. Hope this cycle will give me a strong BFP! Let's jia you together.

Dear Fresh, your TTC story quite similar to mine leh. When I was diagnosed with cysts last year that was the icing to the cake, I was so down thinking why there are so many hurdles in my journey. Even thought that it was god's way of telling me that I will never have a child hurdles after hurdles. But now glad I found this thread. When I see you ladies going through all these and not giving up, it gives me energy...I hope all your dreams will come true soon. Today you are starting on yr lucrin right. Babygalore, Prof did not prescribe any mutlti vit for me only antiboitics for DH in the 1st cycle and now prescribed Vit E for him.

I used to think that being young I have time on my site. However as months turn to years, I realise IF can affect the young too. My first dignosis was also male IF - low sperm count and motility. Then last year as I was about to start IVF dr sadhana found many significant size cyst in my ovary (if you go my site check out my december 2008 entry - there is a pic from my surgery). The endometriosis caused my ovaries to be 5 times its original size and my fallopian tube to be swollen too. I tot after surgery i can start then I was given another hurdle - must rest first to make sure my cysts never come back. After 3 months of waiting since surgery, here I am.

People in our situation cannot really be happy after getting a BFP. SO much to overcome still. The first scan to check heartbeat, to ensure we didnt miscarry etc. I have decided to go with the flow and take it easy. AFter so many obstacles I just thought I will overcome them as I go along.

ANyone going KK tomorrow? If u see me, smile and say hi okay...

Lina: I havent done scan yet.. Going on the 12 of this month then they will tell me BT n scan results.. Wah still got report ah.. Didnt the doc explain the results to u??
 
Ros, did u have any symptoms when u had those cyst like painful periods? Is this ur first attempt at ivf?

Fresh,so u started lucrin 2day how often u gtg for accuputure?

Pari, looks like many ppl(including myself) are facing unexplained infertility. Really really hope ivf is the solution for us ......

may i check with u girls, as im coming back to spore for a month, i would be missing an ultrascan back in France.... would like to do one when i arrive in Singapore.... am i able to? Or is it always like a gynae package? Do u know the price of a regular check up and scan?

im good! not eating a lot yet.. but stomach is popping! have bought some bottoms with elastic bands ald... wanted to wait til i go back to Singapore but i jux can't fit into my pants anymore!

i have started to apply stretchmark cream coz my skin is really itch... bought the brand Elancyl, very reluctant to buy the Clarins one coz it is very expensive... would try this brand first :p

Next scan would be 15 June

Will inject my first jab before I sleep later. Now, I'm going on every Thurs evening and Sunday morning.

You must go regularly, k? Cannot be lazy liao since u are going to embark on IVF this and next month.

Lyn, I do have symptoms. I should have looked at the symptoms more closely. Usually before ovulation I will have some form of backache. Then a few days before menses come, I will have very painful back ache and cramps. Cramps got so bad that I can barely sit or walk. According to Dr sadhana it could be because during menses somehow the tube either got tangled or swollen.

Hi fresh, i will try to go twice a week... The jab is done in the morning or night or own perference?

Paule, u can juz go to any o and g clinic to do an ultrasound and juz pay for consultation and ultrasound not necessary to be under any package.

Lucrin can be taken at any time but I believe I was told once by the nurse that it is better to have it done in the morning. Other sisters, Pls corrent me if I am wrong.
 
Lyn, is it?? I am really not sure... But I have always taken mine in the morning though. But nurse did tell me once try to do it at the same time everyday (within 24hours). If we missed one Lucrin injection, we might have to cancel the whole cycle...

I am only on 200units of Puregon. I heard many here are on higher dosage. I dont know why Dr never increase my dosage after having very little measurable eggs...
 
Ros, i m not sure too but i guess same time of the day shld be the best lor.

U r 28 i think thats the reason for ur low dosage. Is this ur first attempt?
 
Yes this is my first attempt. I guess my age factor is why I was given such low dosage... Hopefully this cycle works

. If it doesnt then perhaps the next time when I do I fresh cycle I could ask for a higher dosage or something. JUst praying and crossing my fingers and toes.

The nurse did not give me a specific time to jab. Thus, I jab it at night before I go to sleep. My hubby poke in quite slow, thus cause slight pain and bleeds when he pull out the needle. He promise to poke in faster tonight. Haaa..

Don't worry, you're in the same shoe as mine. Dr also prescribed me 200 units of Puregon. I'm 32 this year & this is my 1st cycle. But I'm dignosed with PCOS. So I guess the low dosage.

Was told to go back on the 8th day from start of puregon for my ultrasound scan. What about yours?

Hi daffodils, my IVF attempt was not successful too. I had spotting on the day of BT, it is a weird AF cycle. At D9, still a little brown discharge, does anyone experience that before?
 
bunny - mine was unsuccessful too. My AF was very short leh as by day5 already clear so not too sure about urs .... but most pple the AF cycle will go haywire after IVF so tracking mine closely

Hello zaza, my was very short too, which is normal as my usual AF cycle.. But just when I thought it was clear, I have a little drown discharge -wondering if there is something I should be concern about. So are you on the first AF cycle after your IVF program?

my gynae only says that everything is ok base on the report. So i didn't ask more. During the scan, baby turned upside down and sonographer asked me to walk outside the room for 15 mins but it still didn't turn and i took a long time for the scan.

not sure about other hospital but at kk, there is no package. I suppose should be alright that you just have one gynae scan. You may like to email the hospital to ask for more information. Could you do the scan earlier in France? my friend who went travelling, requested for earlier scan, she also took medication from doctor to standby for illness eg.cough, fever, cold. And some people are worried about the scan detector at airport not being safe for pregnant mom. You may want to ask doctor for a letter to skip this.

it is normal to have wierd AF cycle after ivf treatment. I had to wait for 3 months to do FET after the failed fresh cycle as menses never came. Then when it came, it was very little discharge. Of course that menses was not counted. So i informed the nurse and she gave me medication to induce menses.

I think the discharge is the leftovers so i dun tink there is any cause for alarm unless u ar very worried than u cld pay ur doctor a visit or you cld email your doctor

Hi everyone,

I am back from the clinic. Well things are looking a little better. There are good and not so good news. Good news is I have an additional 2 follicles. I have 7 measurable follies at the moment.

Left - 19, 17.5, 16
Right - 15, 14, 13, 10.5

The not so good news is. The dr said that my cyst might be back measuring 2.5 x 3.7.

I have been given another box of puregon. Will be injecting 200units for the next 2 days and going back to the clinic on Wednesday for final scan. ER is tentatively on Friday (12th June)

Anyone here has problems with a growing cyst during the stimulation stage? Pls share. I am worried, my cycle is going to be cancelled bcoz of it.

July77 Today is Day 10 of my Puregon shot. Will be going for my 3rd scan on Wednesday. When is your 8th day scan?
 
Ros-Don't worry. If they want to cancle your treament I think they wouldn't ask u continue to inject for 2 more days... Relax and wish you good luck.

do stay positive, hope the cyst will not be back. 7 follicles is good, don't worry. Continue to drink chicken essence daily.
