Not sure your case is same as mine. I have yet to check with dr but my HSG report mentioned that my uterus is indented. Is it same as yours?

When i did my pap smear, the dr never told me till my HSG test the dr had hard time to do the scan.

Hi ladies
After about a month at this forun, I found that to have a strong body is really an important factor to be successful in IVF and after heard so many recommendation on TCM & also through internet search, i decided to go for TCM also in preparing myself for the tough road ahead.

Saw you gals recommendation on Dr Zou and tempted to go with her as well. I am lazy to go back past threads to read more on Dr Zou as there were everywhere, can anyone please assist to brief me what is her approach on IVF procedure? Is she supportive and what is her usual practice? Do I need to prepare anything for the 1st appointment?

Any gal wants to join me together for the fresh consultation? We can support each other...

I was reading through previous archive starting in 2004 where Micky was the pioneer batch. Micky suggested that we should drink DOM to built up a warmer and healthier womb. Think we can try that

Hi greenie, Dr zou is a nice,understanding and cwey supportive sinseh. Her approach is using herbs and accuputure to improve general health, promote ovulation and to help build up the linning after ovulation. Her charges are quite ok not so cheap but no ex as well.
 
hi ladies,

it has been awhile since i last logged in. i had to cancel my natural FET last month as follicle not growing. Dr Loh recommended artificial FET this cycle with medicine but my full menses not here yet.last few days, i had very, very dark brownish stain / discharge and its very thick. not full pad, just half of my pantyliner.

i called kkivf and they told me tat not menses. they are very busy so thier explanatn very rushed and abrupt. keep on telling me to make an appt with Dr Loh to ask for medicine to induce menses if i want. or just wait.

pls advise if anyone experience tat before. shld i wait or make appt. very lost as not sure wat shd i do.

Yes, will keep you posted of my ER on Wednesday. All the best for your BT tom. Hope your HCG (is it the right hormone?) rise and rise, but in the mean time, keep your movements to a minimum. Am on MC from tomolo onwards, going to collect MC from my gynea becos fertility Dr don't issue MC.

i guessed all chinese herbs which are good for womb, we can try taking them.. it can be DOM, can be Bai fong Wan, can be Ba Zhen, can be others too..
 
Hi SUnflower, to make Swiss roll, you need to whisk the sugar with egg whites. This will ensure a stiffer egg coagulation. YOu can also get from Poon Huat cake stabiliser. Put 1/4 tsp in to whisk as well. This guarantees a stiff and fail proof mixture. I'm a Homec teacher <img><img>

yes i know.. i noe sugar will help the eggwhite to rise.. i have no problems with other cakes, example chiffon or sponge
i only have problem with swiss roll.. think i overbeat it, cos my texture is always dry, not moist for a swiss roll.
 
Have you tried covering the rolled cake with a moist teatowel after you roll (before putting the jam). Leave it for a while then unroll and spread filling. Sometimes I find this works. Nevermind, if swiss roll not good, turn it into a Trifle.

Hi baby,

Oh my menses flow still normal could be cos my last insert of progesterone pill was on Sunday nite so expecting the flow to increase over this 2 days. Oh the nurse told me to call the normal hotline for booking appt to see Dr Loh for review and also normally we have to wait 2 menses cycle b4 we can start the next FET.

Hi ladies, just checking with you all, if pregnant through IVF, are we only restricted to KKH and the curent gynae, for the 9 months of consultation?
 
hi sophia,
no need to restrict. You can go to any gynae or hospital after pregnant, just like a normal pregnancy. But i recall the nurse mentioned, we will need to report back to kk after delivery, so that they can keep track of how many success case and how many babies born under ivf.
