hi ladies,
Gotten my result for my E2, still very high. I'm already on 11 days of lucrin suppression and yet my E2 is high. Doctor asked me to continue with my lucrin for another week. I’m feeling down and frustrated now. Why is E2 giving me problem again.
Anybody here have same problem? Help……..any suggestion as to what I can do to help suppress my E2?

Seeing my babies in the sense it is only the print out. They show you all the embryo and let you know which are most active ones. In fact you can keep a copy. But for the embryo live they do not encourage because cannot take out of freezing if you do have to put inside immediately(my embryologist told me. I did ask her).

No wonder you got OHSS. The egg number is very high. Anyway that's a good news. Because generally 65% to 70% will be good ones and can freeze.
I wish you all the best and drink more than 2 lit of water so you can drain it out.
Drink ensure and also vitagen (or live bacteria culture) so you tend to get more protein.

After laproscopy they would have done ovarian drilling to increase the productivity of the egg so there will be more bleeding it is normal.
But at any time the color change to dark brown or even burgundy then you should inform your doc. It is generally not a good sign.
Take plenty of iron supplements(may be spinach)

so the lady who passed me the pic of my embryos was the embryologist? I thought she was the person who took charge of the embryos on that day during my ET or maybe one of the staffs working in the particular department.

Thanks kalki, I am nervous but I am not that hopeful anymore... I am really scared, but my hubby keeps telling me it will be positive. I am more stressed when seeing him being so positive.

22 eggs is a good number. Wish you have many many good fertilised embryos! You must drink lots of water. Rest well.

your husband is right. Must not take the risk if your OHSS is serious. So you must really drink more water and milk, eat lots of egg whites to make sure no OHSS. OHSS can be life threatening to the woman, not only may have high risk of miscarriage. So must not take this lightly.

I drank raw egg whites with Ensure milk before, but I got diarrhea on that same day. So I dare not take egg whites in this way anymore.
But I do heard that this is the best way to keep the max amount of the protein in the egg white.
I remember rurucat mentioned before that her doc instructed her to take egg whites in this way when she had OHSS after her ER.

Could I check, esp those with elders taking care of you, any particular tonic, food, drink that I can take and cannot take after ET? I'm entirely dependent on hubby and a lady friend to help me through this period. We are not very certain what to eat and not to eat. Advice please...

Read the procedure you wrote for Zaza. You state that in KKIVF, you all will go thur 14Days of Lucrin before US. Can I ask how many days of Lucrin did you go thru before starting the puregon?

Dear babyhopes,
I do not think it's advisable to take any tonic or herbs during this period and throughout 1st trimester. Just take balanced diet. I avoided stuff like green bean, bittergout, cucumber, cold drinks. My food is usually steamed, soupy or stir fry so that i won't be heaty and fall ill.
I was overly cautious and even stopped eating chocolates, tea/coffee once i started my injections as they contain caffeine.
Good luck on your ET!

If drinking ensure is for its protein, i went to NTUC to check the protein contents of Anmum and EnfaMama. Both have double the protein content of Ensure per 100g of powder. I think Anmum and EnfaMama have more nutrition value as they are catered for mums and mums-to be.
Just my personal opinion.
Hmmm... I feel so fidgety now. I'll be starting my 1st inject tomorrow! Officially Stage 1 liao! Wish me the best...

cold food should probably be avoided. I made a mistake in previous ivf try, eating take-away packet food for lunch. After ET i went back to work after 3 days and due to the workload, had no time to go out for lunch. So asked colleague to buy back for me. I should have insist to go out for lunch and take warm food instead.

Seen Dr loh yesterday, he was disappointed with Prof Ng standard of handling my IUI. Cos Prof Ng did not check my fallopian tube, no blood test for hormone and never monitor when is my ovulation period. I ovulated then he do IUI for me.. That's the reason why it failed.
As for Dr Loh, he only asked me to do blood test on D2 of my AF. He's very nice and managed to ask a fair bit of questions before we leave..

You may get the brazilian nuts either at Takashimaya basement one nut store (opposite Cold Storage) or Takashimaya Cold Storage.
I bought it from the nut store because it is fresh.
I did try to get organic brazilian nuts but failed.

Prof Ng did not scan to check my fallopian tube. His instruction is to jab myself with Gonal-F on D6, D8, D10, D12 and he check me on D13 but too late already ovulated. No scanning was done till D13. So he jab me with HSG and did insemination about 2hrs later. Personally I felt its a failure right from the start. But I still hope for the best, in the end, it turned out not what I expected. Very disappointing. Cos Prof is highly recommended from my gynae....

Yesterday Dr Loh did scan for me and I saw my egg follicle. He said I will be ovulating this few days. So he asked me to try ourselves first before we actually start our IVF session next month.
Reason why he commented that he kinda disappointed with Prof Ng is that Prof should monitor and check on me earlier instead of waiting for D13 as it is already too late.
Yesterday Dr Loh did scan for me and I saw my egg follicle. He said I will be ovulating this few days. So he asked me to try ourselves first before we actually start our IVF session next month.

Can advise after Lucrin will your AF report later? I am in Day 9 of Lucrin and also 29 days of my cycle already but no sign of AF. Is it normal since we have injected Lucrin so the natural cycle will not follow anymore?

during this period, it is advisable not to take other medication. If you kana flu or cough etc, need to check with your doctor or GP if the drugs will affect lucrin. The nurse only mention that panadol is allow but all other medication will need to ask doctor.

When I did my IUI, my Doctor only scan me on D12 and D14. When she see that there is an egg on D12, she'll give me HSG jab and try on our own on night of D12. Than D14 morning, do the IUI. But so far, my 3 IUI failed. Not sure if other doctors do scan any earlier than D12.
I did wonder which day do I really ovulated. I think it is when the follicles is around 18mm to 20mm.
Don’t worry, now that you are with Dr Loh, Just relax and leave it to him. Many sisters who are successful are under him also.

Today I went back to my gynae for scan, he says not to proceed with ET next week, got to bring my body back to normal first. Apparently my follicles are still growing, they need to calm down liao
