Hi Bliss
Previously I also called KKIVF to ask if an early BT is allowed as I was having cramps, they do allow it to be done 2 days earlier. You decide, ok?

I understand how you feel now. But why torture yourself with the "?????". For me, I did not go earlier because I am very sure it is a negative. Don't be upset, who's know it is good news and you can celebrate over the weekends. Stay positive.

thanks for all your very kind suggestion and encouragement. I will decide whether to take the test tomorrow...
Will ask the nurse later when going for my injection in the afternoon. But I predict the nurse will surely said not to worry, it is fine as long as AF has not come. And nurse will continue to say that it will also be fine if I want to take my BT earlier.
I am not crying. Thanks, ladies... thanks for listening. All I need now is to be mentally prepared, so that no matter what the result will be and when to know the result will no longer make me so affected... I cannot be so weak I know.

pl, pl try not to read too much into the symptoms, u hv been worried the most part of the past week, and hv made yrself so upset many times....
try to recall all the brave ladies in this forum and wat they hv been thru. "whatever will be, will be"... u hv done wat is needed, worry also won't help, jus prepare yrself for the result, whichever way it turns out k?
and i'm q confident it will turn out to be POSITIVE, u hv passed two wks and AF has not arrived!!
i know i'm jus rambling on and on, and it's prob easier said than done. but i dunno how else to comfort u and lift yr spirits up. i'm even thinking of offering to go pick u up and bring u to a nice pl for afternoon tea!!?!?!??

Just thought will share with you,when i saw my embryologist i went and hugged her and thanked her for making my babies. Later asked her if i could see my babies(looked quite crazy inside OT). So my happiness started there. So just keep yourself stress free and enjoy.

welcome! i saw dr loh earlier this yr. unlikely he will ask u to repeat tests u hv done, but rather order those needed but u've not gone thru.
for SA, think will not change much in 2-3 mths too, but diff clinics may interpret the results differently. for example - dr loh said TMC is more strict and hence men tend to get worse results if they do SA there compared to KKH.

I know it is hard. But just be positive. Do not go in search for symptoms. Just now my IVF center people spoke to me ask me questions like...
any mood swing?
any bloatedness?
any blood discharge?
And my answer was nothing. Then they where wondering why i am answering in a happy manner. But my next line was i want to be a happy mother.
So even i can just wonder how come i don't have any symptom. But i don't care.

Not to worry so much ok , sit back and think be it whether is good or bad new still you have to face it rite ? tell yourself if is a BFN and feel like crying.....go ahead and do it cry out loud once for all then tell yourself NEVERMIND i will still try again.If is a BFP ( all of us here hope you can get it ) then you can be more careful in your early test especially once if you are pregy is not so good that everyday yopu feel sad , moodly ,stress etc ....
My koligs lost her 30week daughter due to she always have feeling that the baby is not with her , moody , stress ........

Like I mention, guess I'm still shy to hug my nurse/doctor but I'm definitely ready to express my deepest thanks with hand-made cards! I'll carry my baby home carefully! Will make my hubby pamper me a few more days b4 he goes back to work! Hahhahahaaa..

I'm with Prof. Did 1 IUI at SGH b4 my polyp removal then twice with Prof after my polyp removal. Prof wanted to try for more than once so I tried. I wanted to make sure I make adjustments to increase my chance each time I tried it. Hence, 2nd try I had my polyp remove, 3rd try my hubby had accupuncture done. So think of ways to improve your chances! I mean, it's not cheap to do it in pte clinics! I did it govt hospi then pte clinic, I sense the difference in svc and of coz $$$ Hahahhaaa...

hi ladies,
can i check something with you gals?
ever since my laproscopy, my last 2 cycles, i have been passing many big blood clots and heavier flow from previous cycles. wondering whether is this normal?
sort of scary to see so many big blood clots being passed out. previously was only small ones and not so heavy flow.
can advise?

Hi Babyhopes,
The ET is done in the OT as in your ER. No hubby allowed. Someone will come and wheel you into the OT.
I think you have to make payment at the O&G clinic for the freezing.
You have to lie in bed for 4hrs before you can be discharged. Not even allowed to go toilet. Have to ask for bedpan.
I thought the payment for the ivf procedure is done prior the ER? How come you are only paying before the ET?

I just came back from KK, had my daily injection.
I asked the nurse, she said I could take my BT tomorrow or even today. I may probably take my BT tomorrow morning then.
I told her about my drop in BBT over these 4 days. The nurse thought it is unusual and should not be like this since I am taking progesterone injections everyday. She suggested I could take hpt first if I want to know the result. Coz by now, hpt should be able to detect hcg in the urine. I am feeling rather tired and rather loss of hope actually. Coz the drop in BBT really does not seem good.
Well, just allow me to feel down today. I will need to accept the truth tomorrow.

HeY ladies , exspecially those in stage 2 and gg for ER.
Found this in another thread just wanna share with u .
Regarding egg-white eating method, the method that Dr Yap taught me is to place the raw egg white in a cup, put a few scoops of milo/horlick/cocoa/ensure on top and pour boiling water on the mixture and stir then quickly drink. Cooking the eggs even for a short while over the stove destroys the albumin protein which we need. U must eat betw 4-8 egg whites after your ER op as the onset of OHSS is most severe after ER op.

Hi everyone, I did my ER today. A total of 22 eggs were extracted. I had abumin infusion immediately after the procedure as my dr wanted me to have less of the OHSS symptoms.
The procedure was alright, I slept thru it actually! Now I have cramps in my lower abs, the nurse also ask me to eat more protein and drink more water. I shall know how many eggs get fertilised tomorrow.
My dr doesn't want to transfer the embryos next week as he say the risk of me losing the pregnancy at my OHSS state is high. So I gotta wait for 2 months.
