Actually, the 安胎药is not as bad... as least it is not so bitter. I am going to see tsb this friday.Ya.. All for bb.. PERSEVERE!.. But seriously.. The meds taste getting worse.. And I heard the 安胎药 worse.. Faint..
I finished all 4 packets 10 days cos i was bleeding and had to take continuosly for 6 days in a row.

You should continue with acupuncture if you find that yr body feels better after trying one month. It helps with natural conception too.

It is still not nice to drink but compared to those really yucky ones before bfp, it is actually quite bearable... actually a bit thick and on the sweet side. Maybe it is becos of the added med powder...

Gambatte to you too @Chubby1314. Hope you will be able to juggle your work and cycle sufficiently. I also pray that my chances are higher next round.
@portia3 they did both. I did transvaginal scan for > 1 hr so they could really check to be sure it was "not there". Quite painful.

From all my reading online, it seems that my PUL is similar to a blighted ovum situation, nothing could hv changed that outcome. Dr TanHH also mentioned that it is quite rare occurrence.
The most difficult part is accepting that although BFP and Beta HCG was increasing, I had to keep reminding myself that it cannot survive.

I will be going for another bhcg bt tmr. I am hoping to see a decent increase after my last test on this Monday. After clearing thix step tmr, my next chk point is thr scan on monday... Praying that everything will turn out well....

It is due to the additional med powder that you hv to stir into your brewed med thsg makes it thick... no choice... hv to makd yrself drink snc swallow... all for thd sake ov yhe beanies

A little story about me, I was so gan chiong that I tested for pregnacy at day 7 and 8 after et , and it was negative. I cry throughout the day thinking that it was bfn. 2 days later, I realised i was spotting, in my heart I m already thinking tats it , it was over for me. I called dh and he called the clinic. I went for hcg test next day as I wanted to get it over once and for all. I went to test at night again, this time round it was a positive. I stare at the kit for 10 mins, cos I couldmt believe it. 1st time ever, it was a positive.
Next day, went for blood test n the nurse called me at 3pm to informed me that I was pregnant. I ask a few times to confirm that I wasnt hearing wrongly.
Finally I got what I wanted for 2 yrs. it was the best birthday gift I ever had! I m praying hard everyday that beanie will grow healthily in me and will be able to see beanie in 9 mths time

I shld learn to have a little more faith. I think most of us suffer from the same gan chiong syndrome here. We are all anxious (and even desperate) to become mothers.
I went through almost the same thing as you did for this cycle. Only difference is that my first poas on 9dp3dt was a positive with spotting and a low beta hcg of 23 that escalated into a bleed by the following day. The days that follows were with bleeds.
To be honest, if i hv not been bleeding, i wldn't hv been so paranoid to insist on taking bt almost on a daily basis which caused me to stress even more. (My hcg rise or increase after 24 hrs can be as low as 12 or at times double from the day before.)
I was scaring myself silly each day i go for bt. I tot that the hcg rise will be almost consistent daily but it did not work this way. It doesn't help when my HCG started very low and rise so slowly in the beginning too.
HCG is suppose to double within 48 to 72 hours or at least grow by 60% in 48 hours. I expected it to increase at a consistent rate!
I had 104 on 13dp3dt, 116 on 14dp3dt and 314 on 16dp3dt. Noticed that the increase in 24 hrs was only 12 and the second increase in 48 hours was a tripling in the rise??? On 14dp3dt, i gave up all hopes, thinking that i am going to lose my little beanie(s) since the increase was only 12. I cried so hard over the 2 days!
I expected the results on 16dp3dt to be either low rising or decreasing actually but God gave me a miracle that day by tripling my hcg count in 48 hours! It gave back the hope that i had lost. Today is the 19dp3dt (pregnancy at 5weeks 1 day), i am going for another bhcg bt at TMC. I just need one more test to give me the assurance before the scan on next Monday.

Same as you when i realise the grant got age cap it is quite late for me, i left actually 8 mths to complete the whole process, first half year time is spent on making and waiting for the initial appointment with IVF Ctr, briefing and blood test etc. However i manage to squeeze in 2 fresh IVF fresh cycle at SGH between May to Aug b4 my bday cut off, i actually quit my job in Jun to fully concentrated on IVF if not wont be able to meet the deadline . Though both cycle failed but at least have some snow babies left behind. Actually think about it quite thankful to the doctor arrangement to squeeze me in. So you must act fast because doctor appointment , procedure etc all got to queue , hope you make it at round 1/ 1st cycle.
Last month did a FET at pte clinic using the left over snow babies, did BFP however very soon it followed by MC. Not sure is it really due to my age Haiz because embyros is top graded and womb is good too. Now without grants and had hit the max usage of medisave, next cycle will be using hard cash. Tough especially i have been stay home since last year Jun. Nevertherless still must keep going.

precious babies: dont worry ur chance will come very soon! ur embryos are younger than ur actual age cos they were fertilised at your previous age. so dont worry too much.

@Precious babies.. I know what you mean.. This age cap is making us all nervous and stress trying so hard to succeed.. My appt got procedure's confirmed for next month.. Booked the slot during my last visit after seeing Dr THH.. Didn't wanna waste time.. Now can only hope and pray hard that either this month kena natural BFP or one time home run for our IVF next mth.. Not easy but just hvta learn to trust and wait on God's timing.. And when bb comes.. It'll be the perfect and best timing ever..

Are u with kkh? Who is yr dr? Maybe u can do research on dhea and then ask yr dr?
I did not take dhea as my amh is ok. But i know quite a few sisters took it. U may want to explore if this will help.
I did it w dr loh. I did ask dr s at kk on her opinion but did not tell her i did it with dr loh. Discretion is key when i am going to both dr loh and dr s as both are ex-head and present head of kkivf.
Both confirmed that this treatment is not proven yet although many overseas fertility centres are doing it as treatment and research. I went ahead cos there is a chance it may help with implantation if i do hv natural killer cells and no detrimental effect.
Kkh will not do as they are a restructured hospital and is heavily audited with protocols and boundaries to work within. So, my only option is tmc.
nvr heard of intralipid drips at all...wil it b too late if i call dr loh now for the drip given that my ER is jus over?
i dont feel any cramps or discomfort nw..i wonder if any ladies went back to work after the ER? actually wats the reason for HL after the ET? izit cos there'l be cramps after ET or izit cos wanna minimise movement to prevent the embyro fr dislodging fr lining? im thinkin if i dont feel discomfot after ET, i'l go back to work after a wk....
also, can i check with ladies who did in kkh, can we call kk to find out abt the embryo quantity n quality or hav to wait til the ET den we get to knw? hw abt the hubby sperm quality? do they share w us? for ivf, they dont wash the sperm like iui?
actually who decide on whether the ET is on day 2 or day 3 or day 5 (for the blast?)..

Got my results. HCG increaded by 5 folds over 3 days. Now at 1500 range compared to 300 3 days ago.

Keep observing. Brown or pink discharge is ok. If u see fresh red, please consult doctor. 10dp3dt can poas.
If u can, try to get some good hpt like clearblue digital to test. If confirm bfp, go to dr and ask for support quickly.
For intralipid treatment, you can call dr loh at tmc to enquire if u are keen to explore.
I din go back to work. Dun want the stress to affect my chances for a BFP. You need to relax n rest. I clear my emails from time to time.
Nurse shld tell u how many eggs they retrieved at er brfore discharge. Embryologists will tell you the number fertilised/ arrested / useable on day of ET. They cannot comment much on quality of egg and sperm cos they can only judge by appearance.
Kk usually do d2 transfer. For d3 transfer, it is done if yr ER is on Friday and next working day is Monday. Or if yr embbies takes a while more to develop. For d5 transfer, they will only consider if it is not yr first cycle and ig you hv enuf good embryos to try for cultivation. You need to discuss w dr.
I started 2 egg whites from stim to help with follicle growth. Increase to 3 after ER to prevent ohss. Took other protein supplement as well during stim and 2ww. Had lots of other proyein food like fish and meat.
I dun take chx essence cos i hv chinese herbs. Kiwi, avocados can be taken on a daily basis as part of yr diet cos they ate rich in vitamins.
Thanks Portia3, so far just one time, after go to toilet and wipe, is not more. Will keep observing.
still no dare to test. My pregnancy test will be on 27-May. hope everything okay.

Today is 10dp2dt... Getting more and more nervous..POAS on 8dp2dt - Neg. On 10dp2dt morning - Neg. Evening - very very faint positive..previous 2cycles,I started bleeding at 11dp2dt..hopefully I will pull thru tomorrow.. Keeping my fingers crossed..want to celebrate Mother's Day next year..

It's still a line altho it is faint. Mine was very faint at 9dp3dt. I went for beta hcg on same day and took a proluton jab plus duphaston. Hcg was at 23 only.
Maybe, you shld re test tmr morning and go for beta and support?

I chose to poas early bcos our pregnancy is 'artificially' created through ivf. Our body may not be able to adjust to the pregnancy and provide the right level of hormones to support the beanie. Hence, somtimes the reason for bleeding. Of cos, there are many other reasons why u will bleed (eg. Implantation bleed, irritation from progesterone, etc.).
Additional support such as proluton jab, duphaston can be given to help yr body to support the pregnancy if you realised it early. Hence, I see more pros than cons to poas before actual bt.

Suffering is ending soon! Today I can officially finish up all my remaining medications and bye bye to all the medications, injections and pessaries!!! Woo Hoo!!!!
