Chris, hiding inside aircon room now. Feels better haha. He had ear infection that led to some complications. So in the end couldn't survive. ;( told my hubby don't buy another dog anymore, too painful to lose a family member. Although he stayed at my in-laws' place most of his life cos mil insisted.

my af arrived!! lol never been so happy to see red colour. i've started on my jabs today and without informing clinic, i changed the dosage myself to 250iu today and will be for tomorrow and sunday to make up for the loss for that few days..will still keep my ultrascan appointment on coming friday

i read that your AF also very late? you can try parsley tea, seep some parsley leaves (fresh preferred else dried also can) in warm water (not boiling) and drink up, can induce your AF (i did just today. I read that this will be more effective if your drink this around your expected AF

Got a scare earlier.. now feeling better after visiting a&e.. signs of threaten m/c.. phew was more ease at heart after seeing both heartbeats still flicking.. and will have to monitor the spotting/bleeding.. doc on duty increased my dosage of duphaston.. hoping for the best

finally back after my scan. Hmmmm.... dr increased my puregon from 250iu to 300iu. managed to scan 18 follicles. there r some unable to see cos he said i constipated. -_-!!!

anything i can eat to relieve constipation? this has been my problem since young.

AF reported late. I will have to delay for one more cycle because doc will be going overseas for conference during my ET period. *Haiz***

Doubles: my lining is 8.5. was a little sad to hear that growth not too good. Maybe cos they scanned on day 4 and it was 10mm. Today they scanned and it was 12mm. So the growth is not that great in the last 2 days.

Fingers crossed, let's hope everything is smooth for all of us!

My af is so weird after this failed cycle. Usually after 2.5days it will clear up already. By day 3 its all clean already. But this cycle, today already cd 4 still heavy flow. Is this normal?

dots: mine is long protocol therefore more follicles. urs short protocol can have 14 follicles consider very good already. I rem my 1st cycle with short protocol, only managed to have 9 follicles, 7 fertilized. My scan today i had range from 7mm-10mm. started puregon on the 10 june. So from what i see ur follicle sizes shld be ok. Dun worry!! =)

Chris, I went MIA... I was away for a short trip last week.

Before my trip, I had a great fall from biking at Pulau Ubin. I am still having 2 big patches of bruises on each side of my knee! As big as my hand!

What was your protocol this time? How are you after the ER?

Chrisl, have you also started with your ER?

sleepygal, I think your heavier af was due to the thick lining built up during your ivf cycle. Nevertheless, please monitor if it stopped within a week. Else, better follow up with your gynae.

I am on short. I am feeling ok.. Took Panadol so feel ok. The anaesthetist today is v skilled so I don't feel overdose and also very assuring

Just learnt today that my veins are actually small where the cannula is inserted, new info for me.. Haha

Had a very stressful afternoon cos dog ran away from home and I was crying and running around trying to look for him. Luckily we found him at spca. But since afternoon, have been having more abdominal crime. Hope it is ok.

Would running around or anxiety affect stimulation?

dots- is this ur 1st scan on jabbing puregon? If yes, then shld be ok. 2-3 days later u will be gng for scan. They shld grow. I heard from dr zou that for er, its best that our follicles are at least 17-18mm to increase our chance. So probably u wanna take note of that. =) I'm glad that u found back ur dog. Perhaps ur anxiousness and running ard increases ur abdominal cramp. Pls rest well. But if its after et then its not advisabe to run ard.

Babydream: drink hot or Lukewarm water. If too heaty can drink abit of jue hua cha.

Sunstillshines: don't be upset. Maybe delay for 1 cycle cos your baobeis is choosing a right time for them to come to you. I will be returning 100 red eggs at the Zion rd temple. Feel free to go collect them after 12pm. (^_^)

I was wondering if any of your doctor have mentioned doing endometrial scraping (womb lining scraping) prior to IVF to improve chances of implantation after a failed IVF?

There's no Day 2 or day 3 scans here, only a 10th day scan, after that most likely ER 2-3 days later (according to my last 2 fresh) But this time i figured out my ER will be tad later say 4-5days after scan cos i started late. Good to know that your ER went well

Last time my doc decreased from 225 to 200 and jab for 1 more day after my day 10scan. Then in other room, nurse write down instructions on pregynl jab and er date and time for us. Over here, I feel manytimes have to be independent and read up info before cos not always clinic says is right, even so after that incident whereby I was told to stop progesteron after bfp at 8weeks then then mc happened

Is this your 1st fresh? You can try after your next AF cos good to rest 1cycle to let body resume back to normal. Dun be discouraged cos normally for 1st try is a trial and error cycle, then 2nd try doc will know what works for you.

ChrisL: sorry to hear the mc. So 225iu actually works for u? I know that increased dose does not always means good. But it's better to start high n drop then the reverse. Did the 1 day more of jab help tho? Growing follicles definitely an art, I wish u all v best!!

yeah 225 actually works better in my 2nd cycle. But also, my 1st fresh when i hv 250, i did not take protein or other stuffs recommended, blur blur just go inject then results not good. So i factor in that as well so now im trying at least do 2 days with 250iu and the rest 225 and see what will happen on fri haha machiam like guinea pig or lab rabbit like that lol thanks crossing fingers and toes--oh that one day i dunno got difference or not cos i went straight to ER 2 days later without scanning again.
