Min > my gynae & TCM actually advised me to do my 2nd ivf cycle immediately after my 1st AF after my lap. They say its better cos internal all "cleared & cleaned up" liao. As our AF comes, they will accumulate on our linings. But as CNY is ard the corner, I decided to take 1 mth off after my lap. Will start my suppression during my Jan AF cycle. Hope things will work out right for all of us here ☺☺

Someone shared her BD experience after her lap. I also felt that after my lap, although I dun feel any discomfort after abt 2 wks, I hv no urge to BD at all. During BD, I also feel cramps lei. Hope I'm normal wor.
 
Thanks Leor. My MS very severe as usual. and i hv history of prenatal depression because of this. last time i cant sleep or eat until i hv to go to psychiatrist n hypnotism. i can feel my mood changing now and i cant eat things now due to nausea.
I hate it when it comes to this. im like becoming another person.

For my case, the main purpose of lap was to remove 2 cysts on ovaries so the ovaries need to heal.. Doc said gotta let them rest 3 mths before stimulating.. But if try natural no prob at all, that's why i did a natural iui right after 1st AF.. Actually my hubby and i didn't bd for 1 mth after lap.. My hubby said doc said need 1 mth to heal internally so don't stress the body.. Hope we all succeed soon! All the best!
 
Purple, I am with Stephen chew. But er n et on actual day will be done by whichever ivf doc available.
Already done 2 fresh at gleanE. Hoping for change of luck thou was advise by ivf doc no need to waste money anymore as no hope for me.

Lyn, I had a good cry earlier. Just like you, i tested on hpt today, and no positive too. Praying for a miracle now. Really hope that ours are cases of late implantation, and we both have tested too early.;p

Lyn & Joyfully, all the best to you! Understand the frustration of uncertainty but try to keep yourselves occupied with other stuff so won't worry too much ya. All the best for your BTs..praying for you!

Leor, wow, thanks for all the info. When i attempted doing natural FET, i missed my ovulation time as it didn't quite show up on the urine kit...just a very faint line. I'm just bad at urine tests i think.. So in the end, had to wait for the next cycle coz if not sure when ovulation took place and just do the ET, chances of success would be even slimmer.

So happy for you! Maybe you can try taking walks daily for blood circulation and also a form of exercise which will release endorphins to keep your spirits up? Take care ya..
 
Summer & Lyn, I dunno whether i'll have to go through d&c yet. Will only be able to find out next week when I go for scan. Praying hard that everything clears out...

Babysmurf, thanks! This whole journey certainly isn't easy... but i was just reading a book and i thought this phrase was very apt for me, 'without pain, we won't know pleasure'.

Laki_gal, thanks. Feeling lots better now... now busy preparing to go into a new job, so hopefully the new environment will be better!

I'm on my way to KKH. Just called the nurses to ask them about the persistent and acute pain I'm suffering from the past few days and they told me to go down. Sigh. Was hoping to avoid this but no choice bah. Hope the doc will just clear me after the examination rather than ask that I be warded for observation.

Phew ladies, I'm back home. It's mild OHSS n gastric. She's found fluid (somewhere but i can't remember) n my ovaries are still engorged. It's 11dp2dt for me. She didn't do a blood test but gave me medicine.

Lyn, I think it's still too early to test for you. So your blood test's gonna be this sat? Mine's this fri. Good luck to all of us!

Yup this is my first ivf.. I suppose u meant that if dr chew happen to be on leave on ur er/et dates, then prof wong or dr anupriya will cover?

I agree with sandra, how come the doc so bad, tell u no hope.. Stay positive k! Let's all work hard together and hope for the best..
 
The route to TTCing has been a tough journey. This is even more so for us ivfers, who had to endure multiple injections, taking all sorts of bu-stuff, medication and going through lots of roller-coaster rides. We worry all the time. From initial medical check-ups, to our blood tests, monitoring our follicles, check the lining, etc.. Next is the financial aspect and the 2ww.. The worry list goes on and on...

For the coming New Year in 2013, I would like to pray for the best for all sisters here. May all our dreams be fulfilled soon. Like what Sandra has pointed out in her earlier post, you will succeed only if you keep trying! All the best sisters!

Just wondering if anyone AF comes almost a week after a failed ivf..?? Not sure issit bcos mine is a chemical pregnancy and that's y the AF super long?
