shainie, if u want to transfer 3 embbies. U must thaw more than 3. I was told that about 75% of the embbies will survive the thaw.
 


Ckk, cos usually I will on the fan or the aircon when I do inserts so prefer to wear the panty back else will catch a cold.

Mina, hope they thaw nicely and u can trf 3. Try naturally first since hormones still high.

nope, i do not have another gynae other than SF Loh. i still find that bloodtest results etc, is better to be done at the same lab during the same cycle as different labs have different standards. since this cycle already started with KKH, then continue there.

it's already 12 days past transfer, think a bit too late to switch over to progesterone jabs. this cycle is probably a waste of effort and $$ and emotion, as there has been insufficient progesterone support all along.

it's already 12 days past tsf, i was questioning abt possibility of low p level but was assured by ivf that it's sufficient for thaw cycles. yesterday tested P level, today resuilt was very low (34), normal is around 60 according to the nurse, so started jabs today.

i got nothing personal against her, just that i feel that ivf staff can be more caring/concern, and look out for individuals that dun fall into the usual protocols, not just the nurses but the doctors as well.

everytime, ask anything outside their normal protocols, the attitude is that we are making a fuss out of nothing.

they don't view each person as a individual, just another IVF patient. all standard protocol etc.

i've been with KKH for the last 6 years, all under SF Loh, did so many cycles, and yet, no one even bother to investigate into the history but kept applying normal protocols.

Anybody done the SIS before? I think is not call Sis.. Something like put some liquid in to check for lining and whether tube block or not? Does all of u go thru this test prior ivf? Any advise whether it is painful? How long is the procedure?

now i just pray hard that i can go thru all test and start ivf stage 1 as plan..may i know who will be doing er / et on jan here? Cycle buddies.. As i will be going to korea on december for 8 days, wonder will it hinder my progress for stsge one.. Can anyone advise what will i be doing for stage1? As Totally no clue.. If need injection, is it daily? Can bring oversea to do? Thk u gals.. Am still busy catching up yesterday posts..
 
Joanne, are u referring to hsg? If yes, I hv done it before. They put a dye in to check whether the fluid can flow thru and if no blockage means the tube is not blocked. I am talking layman terms. To me the pain is bearable and quite fast. after the test, u will need to stay there for observation for abt 30 mins before u can go home, can take painkiller if feel pain. I went for the hsg test alone.

Joanne, did u tell Dr Loh u will be going overseas in Dec for 8 days? If it clashes with yr stage 1, u might need to bring the injection along and get a letter from the hospital when u hand carry over. We need to jab daily from stage 1 onwards.

oh really.. Ya.. Shd be hsg.. Is it done by sf loh ? When u go back, still can feel cramp? Glad to know is bearable.. Is the result out on the same day? U scan for lining too? Still remember how much thus procedure cost and how long it takes? Thks for ur patience to advise me..;)
 
Joanne, no, it is not done by Dr SF Loh, is by another doc. I only felt slight cramp after the procedure. I din know HSG can check for lining?

The result will not be out on the same day. I only know about it in my next appt with Dr Loh as I dun intend to start on IVF yet at tt time, we only do all tests first.

Sorry, I can recall hw much is the test, but it shd not be too costly. The whole procedure takes abt less than 30 mins if I rmb correctly.

Hi joanne

i did HSG twice, once before starting IVF, and another time after an ectopic pregnancy, both done at KKH. it's not painful but can be uncomfortable, some minor cramps. HSG can check the tubes as well as the lining. sometimes it also can help clear the tubes, some get pregnant naturally after HSG.

HSG is to check the viability of the fallopian tubes. I'm hoping to cycle about Jan/Feb too, same with Nadia, so can be cycle buddies la!</font>

i havent tell dr abt my trip., is it one injection per day? If yes, still easy for me to inject.. I dun wish to delay my ivf due to this trip.. Must the solution keep cold always? Btw, did u gals take codycep too? Thk u all...;)

Joanne, yes, stage 1 is one lucrin jab per day and the solution must be refrigerate, must not be above 25 deg if I am not wrong. U can put it in cooler box with ice pack when u travel and put it in the fridge immediately when u reach the hotel. Sorry, can really advise on this as I dun hv experience. Hopefully the others can assist.
I took cordycep pill from EYS as the raw ones too exp for me.

The lucrin must be kept in tbe fridge at all times. So if you are travelling, then you may need to think about the storage. Jab once a day and roughly the same timing daily.
Will your bt and scan during lucrin falls during kkivf cleaning day? </font>

I tink raw is much more expensive.
Is better to buy at capsule form easier to consume it

Ladies, I read thru about P support and such. After BFP, KKIVF prescribed Duphaston support pills to be taken everyday for the next 12 weeks. I was wondering if this is sufficient? Since 2ww I was taking jabs instead.

I still have 16days before my first scan, and is there signs &amp; symptoms I should look for in case my P drops?

if preggie, not supposed to take all these off the counter meds. usually only pandadol and piriton is safe to take. so errr, better not.

during 2ww i was on inserts, after bfp dr weaned me off to duphaston which i took for the 1st tri. that's pretty std protocol. if u get any kind spotting, dun care brown, red or pink. as long as got some kind of spotting, go down to kk and insist on a jab for immediate support and also ask them to increase yr duphaston dosage.

I was told by the nurse she said is ok to take n I had taken a few times during my implantation while I had flu at one side.
Oh dear... Hw come dey simply tell us ok to take..
Aren't the nurse there are professional ma why dey can simply advise wrongly to ivf patients.
Very disappoint on them!
I hope it won't affected my bfp coz I had took several tablets on implantation period.

Accordance to Dr Loh he dislike gals take up any Chinese medicine during the stimulation.
Is ok take multivitamins.
