Ya.. Thats why I tell myself.. In my2nd cycle. I also want to be very relaxed.. But of cos I wont do housework etc la.. But just want to relax, stay in bed, go for acu.. Read books, surf net, slp.. That kind. Hopefully it helps me...

If you intend to do natural FET, would be good if you monitor yourself first. Just to make sure your body and cycle is back to normal and in top form.

Ya, me intend to do natural FET. Hoping my AF to come quickly so that I can start to monitor & "tiao" my body. Now, neither here nor there..arrggg....

Skies, i will be doing a medicated FET because I scared my menses haywire after the failed ivf...till now i still have not ovulate based on temp. =(
I asked dr loh just now whether medicated lower chance, he said no and he mentioned better control. Initially he was suggesting that i do natural but i told him i am afraid my menses not so regular now.

I squat too. I also played aerobic steps on my wiifit. I think u just need to relax. If embies are growing healthily, They will hang on. Must just relax and hope for the best.
 
hi ladies..today is my Day 10 of gonal(112.5)...and i have 25 follicles altogther..i have 6 follilces 10mm and 3 follicles 11mm...but my E2 level is 14,000..which has doubled alot ...2 days ago..it was 5000..so now Prof Wong has asked decrease my dosage again to 75..and alos my lining now is 8.2

Prof said maybe do pickup on Mon..if not weds..but wat concerns me now is by Wed im afraid my lining will be too thick..maybe 13 ..i dnt noe..cos today is 8.2..and also him decreasing my dosage will mean my eggs will grow even slower..rite?..i just want it to grow bigger in size..and not to grow more..cos for NUH their protocol is 30 follicles and if E2 level is 35,000..they will stop the cycle..thts why doc is decreasing my dosage cos of my E2 level..
Any ladies here experienced the same...frm NUH or anywhwre?

Last night, I checked through my scan report. On my D2 scan, my lining was already 9.3mm, so think mine cfm is at the thicken side

cat, I saw my bb's heart beat today... Was so happy until I wan to cry.. scan showed am 7wks pregnant n edd on 25th aug...

Dr loh is in a very happy mood. He told me all his patients who did transfer on 3rd n 4th dec all strike!

hope & path, my first scan, lining was 10mm n that was 7 days after gonal-f. 3 days later, it was 13mm. Then 2 days, I do ER..

So dun worry that is too thick. It will be fine. Good luck.

Think the lining on Day 2 should be thinner as you will be having your period and the lining should be shedding. Ask Dr loh what can be done to help with making lining more conducive for implantation. Remember to bring all your scan reports to show him when you see him this month.

Hi Ladies, visited the a 3rd different doc on duty at KKH today. She is even worse than the african doc. Aniwei .... seems like the cause of 0 sperm for my DH has narrowed down to either blockage / Chromosome defect. His hormones level is normal. So now i have to see the Genetics dept to speak to the spealicist there, which will be tomor PM.

But seems like the most likely route i have to take to have a BB would be thru IVF.

Can I ask who here is currently with NUH ? How do u rate Prof Wong ?
 
Hi JJ..im currently with NUH..doing my 2nd IVF cycle Previously i did it in KKH together with my FET.

My friend who works in NUH ..recommended him ..saying that he really is very nice and patient..also he is very keen to help women who hav fertility issues. Also my hubby read in the papers recently that Prof Wong is the one whom brought IVF to Singapore..
 
Hi Hope&faith ur FET with KK is medicated or natural?
What is the duration from day 1 of menses to FET? How many days of MC do they give? Want to plan my leave to take after FET. Thks
 
Gan..my FET was natural..if not mistaken..its the same like IVF..two weeks later..i think i can't really remmeber dear..sorry if wrong info..As for MC..i dnt noe either cos i aint working..All the best
 
Congrats Hazel, good reason for Dr Loh to be in a happy mood. Hope Dr Loh's luck continue for Jan transfer. Is your Dr, SF Loh? Is he good? Cos I hv selected him for the FET this mth. My previous gynae hv left KK and it was my Mt E gynae who recommend me.

Prayhard, all the best to you for your next try. Sorry to hear that you didn't get the service you paid for. It is definitely not an easy and smooth journey for some of us to conceive. I tried for 5 years, seen TCM, one failed IVF before succeed and I am sure you will succeed one day too. Fm my experience in KKIVF, i only see the gynae once or twice. Once I start the cycle, everything is done by the nurse and dr on duty. I didn't get to speak/see the gynae till ER and ET. When my 1st fresh cycle failed, Dr also didn't give reason/explanation. It was the nurse that said "result negative, try again." Having said that, I'm also thankful to the gynae for her initiative to put some through IVF and some trough ICSI. Cos all the IVF failed only the ICSI embryos made it. If not, will hv no embryos left for FET.

Anyone here did a medicated FET? Want to now the procedure. cos if i didn't ovulate this mth, dr say hv to abort the natural FET and I might hv to consider medicated for the next cycle.

Wishing all TTC will have their desire fulfilled in 2010!
 
Hazel, Dr Loh initially suggested natural FET but I told him my menses is not very regular now, so he said medicated.
He said i can do using my Feb menses.
 
diana, yes, am with dr SF loh. he has a pair of magic hands. he is good. he told me he does monitor the trends of success rate.. guess so that he can increase the chances for other patients next time.

gan, so March will hear good news from you leow. FET is similar. it will be like ur mthly cycle. going on 28 days cycle, that mean, your ET wld be around D14 of the cycle & from there u will be given MC. i think FET only 7 days MC. but u can always ask dr loh to give u more.

did u ask dr loh abt ur lining thickness? did he say is okay?
 
Hazel, he said my lining thickness ok, embryos good, dunno why not successful, he said maybe too much hormones the embryos can't grow. dun quite understand but i didn't ask further. =P

7 days MC ok for me, i have leave so can always take leave. Just that worried not so nice for my work, as keep being away.
 
Ladies who are on Gonal-f..during this stage..any of u experience sore nipples?..Today since morn til now my nipples kinda sore..is this normal?..i havent even do ER..hahahah

Friday Friday... =P and i am trying natural delivery instead of csection... hope all are well... getting scary but at the same time i am happy that it is ending... it have been a tough journey from 2 ivf and then prenatal depression and problemssss... finally i endure till today and will see my 2 gals in 2 days time... u all must jia you... Babies dust to u...
 
Hope&faith, my lining only 8mm.
We never take BT for E2 level. We only take once before starting gonal f, after that we didn't have any BT to monitor the hormones.
 
gan, I also worry abt work n the deadlines. Dun feel good also can't take MC coz there is no cover! If go on MC, come back still expect to meet deadlines. Tough life for working women.

Dun worry, u will succeed this time.

My menses is pretty regulated. But after starting on IVF I stop to check if I ovulated. So maybe doc suggested medicated.. I will be doing FET this month, hopefully things will go smooth.

Let's jia you together. But I get pretty worried sometimes.

Sometimes regulated menses may not ovulate. Coz I monitor for 2 mths only and during these 3 mths I did not monitor at all. So when my doc ask me, I cant b sure oso, tt's why he suggested medicated coz if I'm not ovualating I will have to abort d process.
 
anyway i haven done ET plus i'm potential OHSS so duno wat is in for me.. scared v bloated then don dare go out of d hse.. =p

Ya, me is visiting Dr Zou today to start to "tiao" my body, and will visit Dr SF Loh on 26 Jan.

Planning to do the FET on Mar or Apr. Do you think the resting and "tiao-ing" time is enough?
 


Currently waiting for AF to come, still no sign, very worried..think there are still some HCG left in my system cos I still have little bloatedness...
