Hello,
My recent scans showed that I have endometrial and endocervial polys, three of them. I had wanted to go for IVF already but the doctor said the IVF dept did not allow as she said the IVF side wants me to remove the polyps first. Hence, the doctor could not refer me to IVF.
The doctor mentioned that the polyps may flushed out on their own without the need for surgery. So i asked the doctor to refer me to IVf counselling first while deciding if I want to do surgery. But the doctor said the IVF dept dun allow. I have to do the clear the polyps first. Is it really like this? Has anyone experienced this before?
The hospital I went to is KKH. I am apprehensive of the surgery so I not able to decide there and then. I also forgot to ask abt the cost of this surgery. Anyone knows the cost?
Currently, I oly scheduled another date to do a scan again to see if the polyps are still there.
What would you do if you are me?
Thank you to anyone who share their experiences and views.
