Good TCM for children

Hi mummies, my 3yr old boy (ex-premie) is constantly have cough episodes which results in wheezing and requires neberlizer or ventolin inhalers. He's been followup by PD specialised in asthma, but I'm interested to try TCM for long term treatment. Anyone has good TCM for children to recommend. TIA

Dear mummy,

I had same experience when my girl when she is below 1 year old. It is so bad that she is admitted to ICU.

I went to Yu Guo at 8-B Jalan Masjid #01-04 Kingston Terrace Singapore 418929( near to Kembangan MRT) telephone : 64474761

Now she is well and immunity built up and rarely fall sick. So thankful to the doctor there.

Hi berry baby,

Herbal basics TCM Clinic is using nose spa for phlegm and chest light for cough. Must do continously for few days. I read them when I googled for TCM. I think their machines are a good alternative to western medicine.

My baby boy started Tui Na since 2 months back. Yea, I think it's beneficial to him for overall well being.

I went Yu guo last sat.. not as long waiting time as I think.. about 1 hour..
My Boys really enjoyed the tuina session.. i'm one of the lucky few mummy whom boys like taking Chinese medicine. my younger boy has been asking me for Chinese medicine everyday..

Reply: 看孩子的病情轻重，是分疗程的。有些是四、五天的药再回来复诊。有些住太原懒得复诊，就拿多加天的药/继续下一个疗程。

Reply: 我没听说冬虫夏草能给幼儿消痰止咳。

冬虫夏草是成人的补养品。尤其适于中老年人以及青年人，但不太适合小孩子服用。小孩子如需抵御疾病、增强体质，首选不是吃虫草等滋补品，应从营养全面均衡、增加户外活动、加强锻炼三方面入手。如果小孩生病确实需要服用冬虫夏草，应该在医生的指导下进行，不要随便给小孩吃虫草来补身体。

孩子(特别是16岁以下的婴幼儿、儿童与少年)的生命力是最旺盛的，也是最富有潜力的，身体各方面如有什么不足或问题，首先应通过他们身体的自我完善与自我修复能力来予以消除。

My boy had the same issue last year, and was heavily on nebulizer and ventolin, and frequent visit to doctor for flu and cough.

He was treated at Herbal Basic TCM, located at Havelock Road as well.

They use nose spa and Tui Na.
Now he has recovered, and stop on ventolin and western medicine.

I read bef that tcm n Western are all medicinal kind. and medicine is no good. unless tuina. I had this recurrent cough n flu free my children n was bad roll my elder girl had to be hospitalised.

Just to share.
I used to buy sambucus, probiotic, vitamin c, fish oil fr iherb. till my neighbour let me read this. I will nvr fr buy there or fr off the shelf again. I m not sure abt u. Since then I have switched to Wholesome superfood supplements for my children. and they are taking well. whatsapp me if u want to know what I m giving them now as I rarely cone in to smh. my hp 97919279.

TCM are herbs from plants and some from animals, and they are natural with more than 5000 years of history if you don't know. Are the supplements you are taking bought from MLM company sold at exorbitant prices? Why don't you share the supplements you and yr kids re taking in the forum? It is more efficient to share knowledge this way, and forumers can judge for themselves whether the supplements are good or not.

My 4y/o son has persistant cough that never seems to recover. I've stop feeding him western medicine since it does not seems to stop his cough at all.

Looking into TCM to cure it and build up his immunity system.

西药的药物都是化学为主，治标不治本！中药很少有反效果，需要时间调理。</font>

1 capsule of oseed each meal.

I took 4 millennium n my fever n sore throat gone the nxt day. cheaper than seeing doctor and best thing it is not a drug.
my son running nose was v well controlled too when I up his oseed dosage. and faster than drug (medicine) and cheaper then seeing doc.
my daughter had tonsillitis n fever. doc gave her antibiotic and I still gave her millennium and up oseed dosage and within 3 days All gone.
I was doubtful abt the products but it proof to be safe, cheap and fast.

agree w jolyn. Western medicine don't kill roots. Only suppressant drug.

before my friend share with me on wholesome food supplements, I do not like them to take medicine. always self remedy. but most of the time failed n still ended giving medicine. but this time I try not to give medicine and just up the dosage of the Wholesome food supplement and they recovered. I m really delighted as I have found a way to remedy.

Is there any particular sinseh to look for at the Jurong clinic? Do they do tuina for kids around one yr old? Thanks in advance
