Gardnerella Vaginitis

Dear mummies, has anyone been diagnosed with Gardnerella Vaginitis before? Would it affect the baby?

Please advice thanks!

I had it but im not pregnant. Insert med into.vaginal to treat

Hi miuratohko, thanks for the reply. Gynae prescribed Flagystatin pessary for 10 nights. Not sure if the pessary is safe for pregnancy.

Did you used Flagystatin as well?

Yes i did... use it. I heard oral med cannot be taken. Med like pessary cannot insert too deeply. I put in fridge for a while before inserting becos it is too soft n sticky

Hi i read that doctor do not prescribe it during first trimester

Hi I am currently in my third trimester, hope its ok to insert. somemore its for 10 days, rather long so I'm abit worried.

Oh I keep it in my drawer, cus the pessary is really difficult to insert if its too solid, I have to resort in using my hands to melt it a little. Can get quite messy at times.

Did you managed to cure if after the whole course?

Oh mine melty...dunno y. So i put in fridge for a while then insert. Yes, im ok after that. But must not stop for 10 days
