Hi all,

My wife just did the pregnancy kit test and find that she is pregnant.

As a first time parents to be, we are abit lost on what to do next.

Should I go look for gynae now or I should go polyclinic to run some tests to confirm the pregnancy.

Hi Jay,

Congratulations! That’s such exciting news and totally normal to feel a little lost at the start. I'm a first time mom too. After I did a pregnancy kit, I considered to do a second test(pregnancy blood test) for assurance. And afterwards, I specifically booked for gynae. You’re doing great just by asking and getting involved early. Wishing you both a smooth journey into parenthood!

Just wanted to share my experience with STAR Confinement
I engaged them after giving birth and honestly, it was the best decision ever. My nanny was so caring and patient — she cooked yummy confinement meals, took great care of baby (even night feeds!), and made sure I had enough rest.

What I really liked is that STAR personally checks in to make sure everything is going smoothly. You can really feel they care about both the mummy and nanny, not just the business.

Highly recommend them if you’re looking for a trustworthy and professional confinement agency ❤️

Congrats to you both! You can confirm it at a polyclinic or GP, but it’s also good to see a gynae early. You might want to check out Dr. Law Wei Seng at WS Law Women’s Clinic he’s one of the best gynaecologists in Singapore and is highly recommended by many first-time parents.

I remember feeling the same way when we first found out we were expecting. It was exciting but also a bit confusing at the start. A close friend recommended Dr Regina from GynaeMD Clementi, so we decided to see her. She confirmed the pregnancy and walked us through what to do next. She was calm and reassuring and really helped make everything feel less overwhelming for us as first-time parents. It’s really comforting to have a good gynae you can trust and feel at ease with.

Hi @Jay0000 ,

Hihi, Congratulations on your pregnancy!
I’ve just given birth to my 2nd one and sharing the return of red eggs in this forum, so new messages like yours popped up in my mail box.

With a newborn, everything is new and exciting for me, so I’d be happy to share any info if you need support :)

Meanwhile, make sure your wife eats healthy food and get enough rest to grow a healthy baby.

Enjoy the journey!
