My baby was latching fine after he was born. But after a while his weight dropped and we saw a lactation consultant said he had tongue tie. We had the procedure done and had to feed him with finger and syringe for a while , suddenly he doesn’t latch on anymore. Now it seems like he s keen to latch and sometimes he roots like crazy but even we put the nipple in his mouth he won’t latch.
