During delivery gynae on leave

Hi

Just wondering if i have delivery that day and my gynae is on leave. who will be the doing the delivery?
I currently with su lin lin in NUH. Will there be another senior consultant who take over?
Or just any other normal on duty delivery doctor doing the delivery.

Yah same situation. She is on leave around my EDD. I wonder what will happen...?

Both my babies received care from Prof Su Lin Lin. When my second baby was born last December, I had a planned C-section, but Prof Su was on leave during that period. Beforehand, she estimated my due date and helped me arrange an alternative gynecologist. I chose Prof Biswas, and Prof Su confirmed his availability on my preferred date. However, there was a miscommunication, and during my final check-up, Prof Biswas revealed that he only performed planned C-sections on specific days, which didn't include my preferred date. Consequently, I had to adjust my delivery schedule to accommodate his availability.

As for Prof Biswas, not much comment as I have only met him a few times, a very direct person, straight to the point.
Both of them are equally skilled, but when it comes to stitches and over experience, I still have a preference for Prof Su Lin Lin.
