Dr Wong is so caring and patient. Just visited her for my pap smear few days ago. She is still so lovely. My mom, hubby and I love her very much. I remembered I admitted to TMC ard 1am+. Then after awhile, she appeared at my labour room, chatting and rest assuring me. A few hours later, she came back again, checked on me and started her daywork at ACJ. A hard working gynae. keke.

I would like to change my gynae to Dr Wong too.

Currently with another gynae (only visited once) and both my hubby and I hates him. Never tell us anything like how many cm is our baby ect. Worst part is, I can't even see the ultrasound scan of our baby(only hubby saw it) and the doctor didn't care even if I told him I couldn't see. I didn't know how our baby looks like till my hubby draw a pic of the fetus when we reached home. Makes me feel so upset and cried!!

Anyway, anyone knows how many weeks do I have to wait if I am to book Dr Wong on a Saturday?

Hi Rei Tay (sumire),

i am so sorry to hear your situation! it must have been very sad to experience this. this kind of experience is once in a life time!

why not u give a call to dr joycelyn nurse and ask if can give u an earlier appt. they can like squeeze u in either very early first appt of the last appt if they are quite full. tell them ur situation and i m very sure they can work out something for u!

cheer up, dr jo will be with u very soon

I will like to switch to dr wong at tmc since tmc is nearer to my hm. But does anyone know whether she is gd in c section stiching? Anyone got any experience under her but do c section? Is her stiches gd? Will the string melt itself instead of need to go remove it after that? As my 1st one go thru c section so i worry my current 2nd one may need go thru c section too.. Notice here only mention her natural stiching is gd but didnt mention her c section stiching.. Can anyone advise? Also is her waiting time at the clinic long? Thk u..

Please advise quick as i need to get a gynae for my wife soon,.. thanks so much

Hi Bonjour,

Her package will be offered only after 20weeks. I am now 16 weeks and had so far went there 2 times for my checkup. Find her very patience and her explanation is always detailed and informative.

Hi Joanne
I delieverd my boy in Feb 2007 thru c-sec coz he did not turn. As all here commented tht she's superb & fantastic in her service, yes indeed she has always been till now as i still visits here on & off for gynae check-up. Her work on me was good as there was no infection BUT all also depending on your skin sensitivity. After my epidural worn off on the 2nd day, I was in great pain! Coz my pain tolerance = 0!

Hi Everyone,

I just discharged from hospital recently from TMC, operation done by Dr Wong, her skills really excellent, I can get down from bed with painless the day after the operation. =)Thumbs up for Dr Wong, anyway I am going for the removal of the stitches on this coming thursday. =)Hope it is painless too~

Hi twin_stars,

Don't think there is a need for stitches removal, the string will multed automatically. No worries. I can walk around after a few hours too and the wool is not as pain as imagine. My only problem is the knot of the string is making me feel uncomfortable and after checked with Dr. Wong, she removed away the knot and everything just fine. She is very patient gynea, and I will definately go for her for my no.2 now... ^^

I will can remember that day when she saw my no.1 in the labour ward, she screamed, "see, the gal has double eyelids and dimples~!" she looked so excited than me.. haha

HI HI

I have 2 with joycelyn n both are wonderful. not much pain with the stitches..

dr joycelyn is so good that i can't find anything bad to complain AT ALL.. she treat every patients like her close ones, she will talk to u as if it's your first baby, she talk and treat u like a princess :p

even when i go to her when i had my no.2, she still go tru everything like as if it is my first one. i guess she treat everyone else the same, i must say she really have a great passion for her job n her patients.

one word, 'wonderful'!

Hi lemontee,

I may consider Dr Wong to be my gynae too in the near future after reading so many positive feedbacks abt her. I had suffered from an ectopic 4 mths ago. When i regain the confidence to try and then conceive, I will look for Dr Wong.

twin_stars>For your info, nw dr joycelyn wong told me that she is using non-dissolve thread for the surface(stomach) as she found out recent years that people choose caeserian and use that kind of dissolve thread(brownish colour)will form a layer of fats after quite some time. So now she changed to a dark blue colour thread which non-dissolve type. She will removed after 9 to 10 days after operation and morever she will give you a cream to apply on the wound and make the scar nicer, can wear bikini soon~Yeah~

all>Dr Joycelyn wong really good in relaxing patient becos as a gan jiong person and bringing black face when admit to hospital and bring smiling face when discharged from hospital, you can see how much satisfaction about the service she given to me~LOL~For #2 i will sure find her and really 2 thumbs up for her~Hurrary~

hi Christina,

Thanks for your info. I realised i always had keloids formed be it a laparoscopy or a minor surgery. Im looking for a reliable tcm for trying to conceive after an ectopic. Do u have any to recommend?

Hi ladies!
Glad to hear all the good things abt Dr Jocelyn Wong! Am seeing her end of this month too for my 1st pregnancy! Any idea what will be done on 1st visit??

Hi GG, i just went for my visit with Dr Wong yesterday and its also my 1st pregnancy
happy.gif
and 1st visit to her. Basically they will take your weight and blood pressure first before you go in to see Dr Wong. Dr Wong will then tell you what you will experience throughout the whole pregnancy and what are the tests that will be conducted. I did a scan on my baby but its still very small and can se heartbeat. i am going back on my 12 weeks to do the Oscar test and other blood test. Oh, hubby got to do blood test also,

Hi Shirley,
How many weeks you are in now? Must be so exciting hearing your bb's heartbeat! Did you do any blood test on 1st visit? What is Oscar test? Huh, husbands also must test?

Hi GG, i am in my 8.5weeks now i didnt hear the heartbeat but i can see the hear of the baby pounding fr tummy scan. My hubby did a blood test for Thalassaemia. govt request all couples to do it. I will do my blood test on 11 May on my 12 weeks. do together with the Oscar test. oscar test is to test forfetal anormalties of the baby and our blood will determine if baby is ok a not. oscar test can be done fr 11 weeks onwards. i also have to do other tests but so on 12 weeks coz draw blood once can liao dont have to draw many times

Hi Shirley
Thanks for sharing. Wow, seeing bb's heartbeat must have been a heartwarming experience!

Looks like a lot of tests to do... Does the doctor cover our appointments with medical leave? Else all appointments must take annual leave uh..

Hi GG and Shirley,

If you need mc, you can request for it from Dr Wong.

MTDT, Dr Wong has package from week 12 or week 20. You can call ACJ clinic for the details.

Any mummy here delivered @ Mt. A instead of TMC?

I'm currently preggie w #3 & am seeing Dr. Wong again since she's so fantastic. However my DH wants me to switch to Mt. A this time round as he's "sick" of TMC (Had 2 deliveries tere).

I'm kinda concern if Dr. Wong will be able to react as well as compared to delivering to TMC. I'm prone to short labour & my cervic dilated v fast, m worried she cannot make it in time

What is DH?......

I think Dr Wong delivers at Mt A too? If so, she should be quite comfy with the place. Guess may be good to ask her whether she is ok with that.

Can you share how you find TMC in your last 2 deliveries? Me considering TMC so wondering whats good and not so good about them. Thanks!!

hi gg
i had 2 babies delivery with TMC .. my first one, the midwife was not good and keep on 'repmrimanding' me for not knowing how to 'push'.. was upset and then hubby went to talk to the HOD, then they immediately change to another lady which was very kind and patient.. the HOD even stand in almost throughout my delivery to ensure everything was in order. if i remember correctly, her name was 'Helen;

my second delivery was also good. one thing i like about TMC is their food! it was vvvvvv nice...rooms n etc was ok. value for money.. nurses quite encourgaging and they have free classes for you to attend in the hosptial on the baby bathing, and some handling tips...

also, as dr joycelyn clinic is in the building, she can be there very fast

it is also worthwhile to take up their FBI- First born incentive - and u get discounts on ur stay and ur detail scans

Thanks...jrt...

Ya, I saw their website their rooms look good! Heard their food good too, but the midwives are impt too. Can't imagine got so fierce one...

Did you take up TMC prenatal classes?

Will check out their FBI. Been hearing about it but their website don't give a lot of details, just say can get discounts with that.

twin_stars>Srry for the late late reply~Aniwae you wanna find chinese phyisician to tiao yang your body ar?You can try Eu Yan Seng at Camden, I heard they are really good in tiao yang your body especially you said you got keloids?

jenifur>I guessed you better stick with TMC becos anything you can straight away find Dr Wong and the ward is so near her clinic why wanna change hospital? Not advisable. . .Aniwae I heard she stayed near TMC area so~

Must say Joycelyn is indeed very pleasant...only problem is her waiting time. Even with appointment need to wait for an hr..But she is very patient in explaning to us about what to expect during pregnancy etc. And she looks so excited as she explains to you how your bb looks like at different weeks. And she also dun anyhow push supplements etc. A lot of things she tell you can get outside also..

Package price is slightly above $800 after GST. Not sure about delivery package yet.

Does anyone have a bill breakdown for the cost of delivery by Joycelyn?

Is she good with stitching for natural delivery and c-section?

she is good for natural delivery. my 2 kids with her under natural delivery. she is very pro.

i recommend so many friends to her, all very happy with her
happy.gif

She is good in natural...very encouraging...I've recommended friends to her, all very happy with her too.
happy.gif
Stitching for natural is very good compared to my previous gynae. I actually dun need to take painkiller and can walk easily few hours after delivery cos the pain is minimal.

hi everyone..
am seeing Dr Wong for the 1st time in August.. likely to sign up the 3mths - delivery package wif her.. Appreciate if anyone can advice how the payment mode goes abt for the package ? Do we pay full on our first visit, or mthly instalment wif credit card etc ?

Hi,
No, I don't pay full on my 1st visit.

I sign up when I was 3mths preggie. I didn't ask if there's any mthly instalment thingy. I paid the full amt. If I remembered correctly, she has 2 packages, 1 @ 3mths and the other 1 @ 4 or 5mths. Include consultation, ultra sound scan and urine test. Exclude medicine and other tests(triple blood test, oscar test and detailed scan).
