Coughing during first trim

I have been coughing badly this week and have green phelgm.... I went to see Dr but doctor also dun dare to prescribe medicine for me and after hearing the possible effect on the baby, i dun dare to take western med ....anyone has natural method to cure cough during pregnancy? Please share. Thanks.

Hi mummy, garlic is good and effective for cough and is natural remedy. May boil in water n drink or if you can't take the smell, then wrap it with bread and chew n swallow. Take care not to eat spicy and cold food / drinks.
