Dear Chin Leng,
Wonder if it is possible for moderators to 'ban' certain blacklisted spree organizers?

Maybe these 'banned' organizers can <font color="ff0000">only access</font> the 'closed' Spree thread (to complete their spreeists' orders) and general forum threads (like those <1 year users).
Something like re-listing these 'banned' organizers as new users and they have to gain the access to other threads after 1 year.

Of cos, if these 'banned' organizers feel unjustified, they can show proofs through the thread for spreeists and moderators to review if the ban should be lifted.

Hope you will consider measures in taking care of organizers who have lots of complaints or go missing in action with spreeists' money.

I guess those who keep repeating to sell for business in WTS thread should not be allowed to post in the restricted section, there are alot of mummies who wish to sell their pre-loved or unused items but can't, and yet mod allow user to abuse their power in WTS..

Dear moderators,
I would like to urge you guys to think back on the fundamental idea of this singaporemotherhood forum.

Environment here is changing from cosy atmosphere whereby mommies gathered her to share knowledge and preloved/good deals to now $-minded business world.

There should be segregation for REAL mommies and Business-minded mommies. No doubt Singapore is getting more and more X to stay, mommies here are looking for good bargain deals for our kids - not being targets for business profits.

Hope to see and feel the old cosy SMH portal.

Sorry to interrupt. Just like to share that my friend brought back some Carter’s clothes &amp; bibs from US. She hasn’t decided on the pricing yet, but should be cheaper than what you can get through spree. If you are interested in any items, please let me know. There are very limited pieces, especially for the bibs.

The bibs are all with X'mas theme are very very nice. I personally love them! For the clothes, mainly are long-sleeve esp for bb boy. There's some fleece clothes which would be ideal if you are bring ur bb to cold countries for holiday. There are some pretty dresses for princess as well.

I have been organising my BP since Dec 2009 and there is no reason why I should be resorting to such unethical means which will result in my reputation being tarnished in SMH BP.

I wish to stress that this posting is solely meant to clarify the intent of my buy from febmom which is clearly indicated in her thread. There shouldn't be any co-relation between my BP thread and my interest in purchasing from WTS. Hope that clarifies your doubt and curiosity. Thank you.</font>

Further to my 16 Nov 9:30 a.m., which highlighted that the bp organizer is trying to organizing bp at wts, after the first thread being removed, she still created the 2nd thread, giving the excuse as below:-

I have made known the source to my potential buyers so that they are aware of where I am getting this backpack.

I am not organising a BP in a WTS thread. Please run through my thread posting before making unground accusation.

I know you enjoy such policing job but by making unground accusation solely based on your own assumption is very unjust to people like myself.

You may want to explain to the mod and not me,the reason that you posted in your thread:-

Maybe Chin Leng should suspend chy and mona account. Not only they are making fools of themselves and nuisance to this forum as well.

This is supposed to be forum where mummies and mummies-to-be share great infos, deals such as pre-luv or BN items. I mean why can't anyone sell more than 1 item in a WTS thread. And favourism abt one of the thread is not acceptable. Who are they to judge and give verdict to SMH forum members?

Chin Leng, if I were a new member and happened to see their postings... I would probably thought that there are serious problems in the WTS, Spree, BP... etc. I would probably would stay away from SMH forum altogether. Even if they were to inform the moderators, the most appropriate way is to email.

I beg to differ - personally I feel good with what chy did! It taught me there are various threads/topics in SMH which I should browse around before I purchase something.

If I were a new member, I'll think that BP is the right place for me to get bargains cos the price is cheaper than dept stores ... but in this case, it is wrong. Same item can be purchased via joining Oversea Spree and WTS - I can even post in WTB.

No big deal here nor anyone making themselves nuisance. This is the thread whereby users highlight anormalies to moderators for their attention/review. If violation is made, moderators would take the necessary actions.

FYI, I did tried writing to moderators on my thread (which got removed) but nothing was done for me.
Hence, email may be the appropriate way but not effective.

The above is just to share, not offending anybody.


Moderator, if you think my above statements/posting are inappropriate, please go ahead to delete my post. Thanks!

However, making wrongful accusation solely based on one own assumption while conducting the policing job is unjustice. When you are being arrested as a suspect, the police can only charge you under the law, it is the judge who sentence you.

I feel that cny's posting dated Thursday, November 18, 2010 - 4:14 pm has really gone too far, beyond just plain monitoring and highlighting. In this case, I feel that I am being arrested, charged and sentenced by one single person :S

I have also separately highlighted my scenario to Chin Leng in hope that no one will get victimsed in the same way as I do.

Kerene, Maybe u ve not read most of the posts by chy. One of them was "3) “Non-active” member should NOT be granted the access right to overseas spree and WTS even the membership is more than 1 year old. ". I was like ???@@@!!! What is this? Seriously... do u think it is right for chy to ve such proposal to the moderator. Do u like ur acct to be suspended becos u ve not been in SMH for few weeks? I think she has certainly OVER DO IT! That is my point.

It is fine if u r the buyer or future buyer from the thread that u r complaining abt. But it seems she and mona has the "joy" of complaining without valid reasons! That for me is a NUISANCE! Be it buying from BP or Spree is more of preferences. Example I do get from Spree most of the time but if I need to get something ASAP... for a birthday present or a fren's baby 30days party.. I would buy it from BP. And no doubt I am aware that the price is more expensive than from spree. So u can't really point out that spree is the best and the cheapest and all the BP's who are charging more than spree should be axed! Some plp prefers conveniences and do not mind to pay more. I think buyers has the right to choose up to their preferences.

I really felt that they are both over doing it. That's all. Even if u want to complain... complain with dignity. Don't just post out 10+ links and asked the moderators to investigate. Unless they are really in need of a job and thinks that SMH might hire them... LOL!

One day yourself and chy (double_ens) will too be granted access to the restricted marketplace, one certainly will not like the next newbies to make such ungrounded comments on your geninue WTS and/or Spree thread. Nobody wish to deal such incidents (especially on a daily basis).

I just hope that all of us can empathise and be considerate with each other's feelings so as to make this forum a better place thereby inviting more newbies to join this forum.
