Why MOM doesn't allow live out maids (Foreign Domestic Worker)?

MOM should discourage maid loan to be pre-paid by employers, remove Security Bond, Insurance in Employer's name and Repatriation clause so that FDWs who failed to perform, did something bad (especially on weekly off days) can be kicked out at FDWs' own costs.

Where's our basic protection?
Who is there to regulate maid agencies (those charging one-time agency fee from S$600 to $1800) and stop maids from calling the shots?

Singapore is a modern first world country yet FDW's employers (citizens) treated like 2nd class citizens, worse than the FDWs!

FDWs are human, employers are not human? Are we merely ATM machines? Whatever harm inflicted on us, we're suppose to act no feeling, not affected, not hurt?

Hi Blogging Moms, I also have a blog at cadencharles.net and started after my second son was born. And because of them I wanted to look good as well. It took me 2 years to research and finally found a plastic surgeon in Korea for Tummy Tuck and Inner Thigh Liposuction. He is Dr Kim Byung Gun from BK Plastic Surgery.
