Babies with Chalazion

Any mummies with kids suffering from Chalazion on the eyelid? My poor 11 mths old boy has it since 6 months old. Since 3 doc alr but still no cure n it seems to be getting worse. Can't go for op as he's too young. Any mummies has remedy to it or has good doc to recommend?? Really desperate for help!!

I brought my son for op at 2yo. It will spread so better to get rid of it early. Initially he had on one eye then eventually ended up 3 - upper and lower on one eye

I went to Eye Centre at Gleneagles but the doctor very old so better not recommend

Went to see an eye specialist at paragon alr. He said it will eventually go away on its own and it's not advisable to operate at such young age.

My hubby's colleague's son went thr an op when he was very young n has affected his memory now that he's grown up boy. So ur son was on GA or local? So after op, did it come back?

My boy's memory doesn't seem to be affected in any way. He is 4yo now. It was a very short op. barely half hour. The swellings got bigger until he seems really uncomfortable so we decided to get rid of them. So far so good, didn't come back anymore.

My girl also has some lumps on her eyelid when she was 6 months old. Was referred to KKH, use baby shampoo with cotton ball to scrub her eyelid twice a day and apply cream prescript by the hospital. The lumps go away after 1 month. Now still use clean water to clean her eyes every morning. Hope this help.
