Last night I had my moist choc cake with vanilla ice cream..WOOHOO! But it doesn't beat eating there lah. I had to pack it homw and buy my own vanilla ice cream. Magnolia dah tak sedap lah. Not creamy and smooth. Furthermore, tak keras pun the ice cream...
Anyway asalkan dapat puaskan my craving sudah!

da sedap past two days bole bangun lambat after sahur kan, today punye la liat nak bangun. then traffic jam on pie.. super lambat i today..
you guys ever tak ter-sms salah org, pulak tu the content of ur sms is talking (ahem.. bitching) abt the very person u sent the sms to.... hah... well it happened to me last thursday.. i tell u i broke into cold sweat, my hands were shaking... my heart like want to terkeluar from my body....
i intended to sms A abt B (both are my collegues). B ni memang la MC queen. She likes to talk to me and tell me how sick she is and how pitiful her situation. She does milk the situation to her maximum benefits la, sampai boss pun takut nak give her more jobs scared she will relapse. So I was "discussing" this with A. Entah macam mane tersent kat B. Immediately when the sms was gg out i saw it was sending to B... I PANIC terus take my handphone and put in my pocket and walked to her place, i dun have a plan in mind, i was breaking into cold sweat..
then Tuhan tu kaye, tak nak kasi i susah, I saw B at photocopier.. i went to her and told her to come to my place after she photocopy to discuss somthing. Then i quickly find A and told A of the situation and asked him to go to B's desk to delete the sms. Luckily si A ni cepat tangakap the situation and managed to delete the sms... i dun trust myself to delete it bec my tangan mengeletar tak bole control....
Haiyah... never again la i do somthing like this... that nite i kept on thinking of the consequeces if B had seen my sms... alah... perangai buruk..tak nak buat lagi..

I ni terasa jugak nak gi istanbul hari ni tapi thinking of the journey mcm malas pulak... maklumlah tgh takde mood pasal my hb sibuk dgn soccer league kat tv sampai my dd yg temankan i sampai both of us tertidur... musim bola ni kan... rasa mcm nak get all the wives go on strike sama2... dgn kita pun dia tak sempat bermanja.. bulan puasa lah katakan...haizzzzzzz
jauh ye sharena from bt gombak to tampines. anyway, you'll be caught in peak hr traffic nanti. if u plan to come by, must be earlier la. kalau pukul 4 lebih baru nak start da lambat tu. bec the west bound pie is always jam during evening peak hr. so nanti u nak balik susah sikit

afghanistan is also a good place to buy food. variety is much more, pening kepala when trying to decide what to eat/buy from there! but the stall at the corner selling the pisang goreng, etc is very nice!

so far for you to travel all the way down to tampines! but if you really wanna try out the food, why don't you come on a weekend, say ard 3pm+ with your hubby, then at least tak kelam-kabut sangat and there's no traffic jam to contend with.
actually my bro and his wife also still travels all the way here fr where they stay in the west to eat at istanbul once in a while. they have lived in tampines for a long time before moving to their own place, so they used to eat at istanbul often also, and they say sometimes they do miss the food, so they will come over to eat for dinner.

was wondering jugak mane u pegi lama tak nampak. kalau tak mesti da bilang kite masak ape kan. Is it ur dd first time puasa? my niece is 6 this yr but liat nak puasa, 1/2 day pun susah, maybe bec her brother (5yo) tak puasa so banyak temptation.

hehehe, i sembunyi blakang esbok jap..hahaha..been baking this n dat tapi kan dat day my oven BooM! terus trip satu umah..haiz..plan nak buat kuih raya pun tak jadi...nak mintak oven baru hub cakap takyah...suruh beli ajer kuih...tak besh! :<
my girl this nov turning 6yo, last year she start fasting...last year almost made it full but i yg slalu kesian esp kalau ada PE at school...this year, hopefully she can cover more days lahh...i tak ajar/say anything abt puasa half day, if not nanti manja sgt, nak 1/2 day ajer kang...hehehe

my 3rd one ni boy. my hubby hepi giler. masa scan tu, the doctor ckp, 'Congratulations! It's a boy!" My hubby punya sorak mcm nak bergegar satu bilik scan tu.. hee3
Mudah-mudahan, my boy ni kalau dia nak keluar pun, kasi lah ibu dia puas makan lontong, ketupat, rendang, sambal godok dan mcm2 lagi lauk=pauk raya ya. lepas tu, kalau dia nak keluar, keluarlah lah nak....hee3.
semalam, mil masak mee siam. my hubby pulak beli murtabak kat zam2 rest yang kat bugis tu. sedapnye...masya allah. alhamdullilah, i mampu puasa bila hamil sekarang. masa i hamil anak2 i yang dua2 tu pun i dapat puasa cukup satu bulan.
U puasa tak bila hamil? my fren pernah try tapi tak boleh. dia pening2 and muka pucat semcm. i think it depends on individual. betul tak?

kalau tak boleh puasa lebih baik jgn. tak ada kesalahannye. ni, i start puasa pun, my hubby asik tanya2. dia ckp takut baby tak cukup makan. i ckp dgn hubby i yg i nak try dulu. kalau tak tahan, i buka lah.
alhamdulillah, i boleh tahan hingga hari ini. hubby i plak yg tak habis2 asik telepon rumah tanya nak makan apa bila buka nanti, i ok tak, pitam tak....kah3...
nanti hari raya, i jemput u all datang rumah i skali lah ya. . boleh tgk baby skali and sambut hari raya ya...
datenye nanti i confirm cos my due date 9th octber. kalau lambat pun sampai hari raya pertama lah nampaknye i beraya di hospital...hee3

my girl ni nov baru masuk 6yr ol, last year masa puasa she 4yr++ puasa full day lah, i tak mention abt half day tu her...bleh tahan pulak, kalau half day kan sayang gitu...
pasal puasa ni masa hamil...terpulang kepada badan masing2, tak bagus kalau puasa if memudaratkan kesihatan atau kandungan...yg bleh berpuasa tu alhamdulillah....i masa preg my girl i ada depression, nangis jerr n very cranky...pms agaknya hahaha...masa my boy plak, ada hari i puasa, ada hari i tak leh tahan...perut kena boxing bertubi tubi...

Then maybe buka kat Istanbul. Hari tu tak pegi2 pun.

Sharena, bila you ceritakan you muntah tepi jalan I pun ingat my experience when I went to Geylang during Ramadhan when I was 6 months preggie. I black out cos too many people (that time was still the old bazaar behind the market), hah, kena duduk sekejap dekat stall capal till the "blackness" gone. Cold sweat dibuat nye.

mamaliz, I am planning to have 6 kids, insya allah. ambitious eh?! entahlah, i suka anak ramai. my 2 princessess ni memang nakal, mengalahkan boy tapi its all worth it. I feel very satisfying tgk anak2 hepi and healthy.

I dun tink if I can, I wud like that many children. Take terlintas dlm fikiran to have that many. Maybe u r from a big family ke? I ni 4 adik beradik je itu pun 2 girls then lepas i (sulung) dah 12 yrs old barulah lahir another bro and then another 4 yrs aft that... I tak mampu lah gitu pasal umur pun dah meningkat. Lagipun csection max 4 aje..in govt hospital, max for csect is 3 je. But I opt for 3, InsyaAllah...
Semalam I gi Ikea Tampines then singgahlah buka kat Istanbul yg Lani cakapkan. Sorry to say, it's not up to my standard lahh... I prefer the coffeeshop at BLK 26 Teck Whye Lane. Chinese Halal Coffeeshop. Semalam I mkn hor fun..it's ok ajelah. Then my bro and hb ordered sweet sour sliced fish, kailan and hotplate beancurd...the fish mcm hanyi sikit and the beancurd, I've tasted better.. So nampaknya, that'll be the last visit lah. Coffeeshop kat West Coast Food Ctr pun sedap and nearby there, there's a new coffeeshop yg chinese hala pun. Seafood dia memang sedap jugak. One of the Malay stalls yg jual char kuey bakar pun sedap, lain sikit lah. The char kuey is very lembut.
Anyway...sape2 ada makan places yg nak recommend pun bagus jugak, boleh kita try2. Oh ya! Simpang Bedok pun sedap! I love the homemade soya bean desserts.

I dun tink if I can, I wud like that many children. Take terlintas dlm fikiran to have that many. Maybe u r from a big family ke? I ni 4 adik beradik je itu pun 2 girls then lepas i (sulung) dah 12 yrs old barulah lahir another bro and then another 4 yrs aft that... I tak mampu lah gitu pasal umur pun dah meningkat. Lagipun csection max 4 aje..in govt hospital, max for csect is 3 je. But I opt for 3, InsyaAllah...

Blk 26 tu memang sedap..time my mil gi haji ..blk 26 was my kitchen food ..nice n cheap...when u talk abt the char kuey bakar kat west coast..tu lagi my fav..mcm nak beli buka kat saner besok....kalau gitu kiter quite same taste..anyway sakura cuisine yg kat masjis tentera tu punsedap...ramen ten just open at harborfront ..the japanese food is good...eh craziee nyer asyik buall passal makan jer....

went to geylang too on saturday afternoon. looking for songkok for my boy, but he doenst like la pakai head gear. plus his big head was MORE pronounced with the songkok on it.. so i think this yr tak payah la.
usually i only go to geylang on a need to basis. and never at nite. i cannot stand the crowds. If i need to buy anything there i usually go like eleven in the morning. abg kat bazaar pun macam baru bangun tido.
i think for the past many many years, i never buka puasa outside unless very urgent work situation. Buka puasa is a family thing for us. My sisters will come to my place to buka puasa. My bro when his shift work permits, he and family will come too. macam reunion dinner everytime buka puasa, best la.

Lyn ada 3 adik beradik aje. my hubby ada 9 adik beradik. so imagine hari raya kalau datang, mcm nak meletop rumah teck whye I.
I anak yang sulong, my brother 25 years old tapi masih bujang trang tang tang, my sister tgh sitting for o levels dis year. my mum is jawa, chinese and japanese descent. my dad is boyanese and indian descent.
Jarak kami adik bradik jauh2 sikit not like my hubby side. My mil is minang and dutch descent. my arwah fil is jawa descent. My hubby side, their adik beradik semua cuma jarak satu tahun atau 2 tahun within each other. Sigh ... Wonder jugak mcm mana mil boleh jaga anak 9 gitu ramai while pregnant....
I suka anak byk cos meriah lah. memang lah jaganye teruk sikit tapi I feel satisfied. maybe tak semua org boleh berperasaan begitu ...minta maaf ya...
alhamdulillah, my 2 girls, i lahirkan secara normal delivery, insya allah, yang 3rd pun kalau boleh i nak deliver secara normal lah. my hubby beberapa hari ni mcm takot2. dia kata the nxt thing to maut is actually giving birth. I asked him whether dia takot. dia kata takot + kesian + insaf tgk i tahan sakit kerana nak keluarkan zuriat dia. . sigh...
oh ya.. kat blk 26 teck whye boleh tahan jugak makanan dia. the owner my hubby's friend. dia punya rojak bakar boleh tahan juga..
kat kedai afghanistan tu, mee goreng dia boleh tahan...
ish asik ckp pasal makan aje. entah today nak masak apa for buka eh? ingatkan nak masak mee bandung. . my hubby plak ckp masak lemak pucuk paku. . entahlah...I tanya mil, my mil kata masak aje dua2 jadi semua dapat rasa...ye tak ye jugak ye.....hmmmmm

anyway just want to get ur views, what do you think of pple yg makan openly during bulan puasa???
i got an office collegue (she pakai tudung) and when she tak puasa she openly (in the office, i mean) eat and go pantry take water make coffee etc. She will buy lunch and eat in office...hmmmm
i pulak if tak puasa, i will bring water bottle and drink only in my own cubicle.. tak la pegi pantry buat air semue.
I don't feel comfortable doing it openly. Plus i dun want org lain bangsa have the wrong understanding or impression.

hai all, nice to get to knw u guys. regarding tak puasa, i don't mind people eating in fornt of me. dah tak boleh puasa nak kata apa. tapi as a muslim of course lah mesti hormat pada yg berpuasa. i only drink in the pantry coz kat tempat kerja i semua bangsa lain n they understand.
