Or have u tried the massage spa in Parkway Parade? I think the shop name is Traditional Javanese something something..(cant really recall). Wanted to try Wayan Retreat but place not that convenientla..Its good there pasal its like a one stop place for facial and massagekan..Ada yg dah cuba?

Prima Deli is going halal too. Some of their shops are already halal. Buying Amaar's Barney cakes from there.

Halal certified cake shops:
1. Swensens
2. Polar puffs
3. Secret Recipe
4. The Royals
5. Eatzi(halal branch of Jack's place)-they can do 3D.
6. Blossoms
7. Prima Deli

Among all the cake shops I'd recommend Royals, not so jelak. They also do cartoon character cakes but you have to order 1/2 weeks in advance.

But the e-creative cakes does look good. May consider them next year.

Alamak macam mana eh kalau hujan. Ingatkan kita proceed ke resataurant tapi sasha, u macam mana? Cos u ada 4 kids. I'm sure they'll be restless.. How abt Vivocity? Kita blh gi Earle's Swensen..?

kalau pasal spa... i memang hantu! But u tinggal jauh lah.. Kalau local i'm going to the one at Hillview called Balik Kampung.. they also have another branch at Changi.. nt sure which part though. U can search in the internet.

I like the one at Bintan - Asmara Spa. Kalau kat Batam, go to the one at Holiday Inn- v reasonable, superb ambience and gd therapists. My fav!

Btw, kalau nak gi massage, jaga2. Make sure u go to the one that has a proper shop. Jgn gi yg kedai kecik2 and gelap. There are a few in Far East Plaza and City Plaza. My gd fren pernah gi yg Far East and v spooky. She had lots of problems.

Hmm kalau i dah try yg lain, will update u. For me, facial and massage usually i go different place. Facial i dah serasi dgn Dermalogica so I go to the one at Causeway and Balik Kampung for spa. Last time i went to Passage New York dekat Lau Pa Sat but v ex.. Come to think of it, my pkg kat sana pun belum habis.

Anyway...oh ya! Apa2 perubahan, calling2 eh..

yah, my dd that time muka selenga, i think she really didn't know what was going on! haha!

but now very different! very opinionated, and mulut macam mak nenek. i'm sure tomorrow when she sees her elmo cake she will go "WOW!!! NICE!!!". btw, tonight on the way home from dinner she was singing the "happy b'day" song to herself. then my hubby asked her what b'day cake she wants, and she replied "kitty b'day cake"! can faint....

how did we cut the cake? we decapitated the Pooh head, and kept the head in the fridge! then we cut up the rest of the cake, starting with the feet & the small round cake...hee...so morbid eh?

your eyes VERY sharp lah! yes, that is a Pooh agar-agar we ordered. rasanya pun quite sedap. my guests enjoyed it too, esp my hubby's family. so much so that we did not have any leftover.

party was good! sarah enjoyed herself sooo much, esp since some of her friends came! but then mummy and daddy yang penat! ok, will post pics here once hubby dah download. tapi not that many nice pics lah, cause we were either too busy or the kids all running ard all over the place with balloons and singing/dancing to the videos.

we had the party at NSRCC (safra resort) kat changi coast walk. booked the function rm there. yes she was aware that it was her bday party, and when she 1st arrived and saw the rm nicely decorated, plus all the balloons we had, she was going "WOW!! WOW!!".

however...during the bday song and cake cutting, she cried lah!! that's 2yrs in a row!! 1st bday also she cried when we started singing bday song!! alamak...can faint lah...so end up i yang blow out the bday candle lah...
 
I sekarang tengah headache. Dulu, my son boleh duduk diam bila pergi kedai gunting rambut. We brought him to those kids shop. There's a branch in dhoby ghaut and another one in suntec city. But now, he doesn't seem to like anyone touching his hair! So i thought, maybe the kids shop only have Hi-5 to watch..so this time, i try a different shop. It's at supercuts, kids section. The kerusi special sikit. Car seat and can also watch Hi-5. But he menangis like what! Tak kasi the hairdresser potong his rambut. Sigh. Waste my $17. Cuma dapat potong sikit. Anyway, i don't like that shop. Shall boycott that shop. The hairdresser don't even wish to make any effort to calm my son down.

Sekarang, i've resorted to buying my own scissors (2 kinds) untuk potong rambut dia. Itu pun susah. Kena tunggu dia tidur.

How do you mummies handle this situation? Macam mana you all get your toddlers / kids to potong rambut?

sarah pun sama lah. now cannot go hairdresser to cut her hair, she will cry like kena pukul like that! even at home also we can't cut her hair anymore, she will cry and cry the minute we are about to start. so no choice we gotta resort to doing it when she's sleeping lah. you should see her hair. semua senget-senget...macam fesyen baru like that...sigh...

Tak pe, yours daughter. Kalau tak potong, boleh simpan rambut panjang. My son mana boleh simpan rambut panjang? I tak nak encourage. Jadi, i mesti potong macam mana pun.

Talking abt cutting hair, i da lama give up. From dia kecik2 si Adam nie memang tak suke org sentuh rmbt dia. So ever since dia dlm 7mth gitu, i start to shave or cut rmbt dia. Kai shaver yg barber slalu pakai. So bab tu rmbt dia tak even. barber pat bawah nie potong sikit potong byk harga tetap sama. Walaupon ru $5 buang duit kan. hahahha...

Okie, dat day outing cume 4moms je dtg. Tu pon ada sikit kelam kabut w rgds to miting place. Ada yg pat blah hujung, ada yg pat blah tgh. hahha.. Tak tau pulak park tu besar. After tunggu menunggu akhirnye kite bertemu. adam had a great time main2 dgn anak2 Shasha. Esp yg eldest doter. Her twins at first malu2, pas tu pon join sekaki. Her youngest doter, pon Sarah. Hmmm.. Geram! senyum je.

still got contact for the pooh agar agar tak, I want to order for my nephew bec he allergic to eggs la. Kesian tau kalau org makan kek dia tengok aje. Even his own bday kek that he brought to school. Kite order yg eggless pun he wont eat la, he so scared.

Siapa punya toddlers / kids kat sini tak suka makan sayur atau buah-buahan? Hai..my son ni kan, satu strand of sayur pun tak boleh. Semua makanan kat mulut, dia keluarkan. Cekik darah lah. Pening kepala i. Betul nye boyish lah. I rasa my next bonus ni, kena invest on juicer. Kalau fruit juice dia minum..tapi kalau makan buah, tak nak. Sekarang...kalau buat vege juice, masam sikit kan? Dia tak suka. Macam mana you all kasi baby you all makan sayur & buah2?

sorry i can't help you in that dept, cause my dd a bit strange, dia suka makan sayur and buah pulak! kalau makan porridge (i usually cook with the frozen mixed veges) she will suap herself and she will scoop the veges sebanyak-banyaknya into her mouth!

and she hantu buah also. take last night for eg, dah habis makan dinner, she mintak banana. and then we didn't have any at home, and she kept insisting, so i brought her to NTUC to buy. immed after i paid she ate 1 banana. dah habis she asked for another one! by the time we walked back home she dah habis 2 whole bananas!

my dd is very fussy with her proteins though. kalau ayam must be in tiny tiny pcs - too big only she will spit out. kalau beef she will ONLY eat bolognese. and fish, no hope lah. she will absolutely refuse to eat ANY fish at all. she also doesn't like to eat things like fish ball, fish cake, sausages.

Girls. No wonder easier. Your daughter will grow up having nice & good skin! My son, he likes bananas but other fruits..jangan harap. After he eats the banana, sure berak! Hahaha. I'm trying to make him other fruits besides banana.
 
ic, Adam pon sama tak suka sgt makan sayur and buah. The only buah dia makan is mangga and longan. hahaha.. better than nothing la. kalo sayur, mcm spinach, i slalu chopped into tiny bits. So kalo da mix dgn sop, tak dpt rasa the lumpiness. Hmm.. I never tot of giving him fruit juice. Cos the doc say when u masuk dlm juicer, serat buah sume da takde so defeat purpose.

Lani, Adam on same la, tak suka makan ikan. Kalo ayam dia favorit. Beef pun dia tak suke sgt. Kambing blom try cos pat rmh nie i sorang je makan kambing.

Kalo sarah tak suka fishball and sausage, tu Adam nye favorit! Almost weekly kene makn fishball and hotdog.

eh, i just thought of some ways to feed arshad veges & fruits!

for vege ah, you can grate the veges (eg carrots) or mash it up, and mix it with boiled potato and feed him either mashed potato or bergedel lah!

as for fruits, you can make smoothie wat! maybe mix banana, strawberry, some orange juice, milk, and blend.
 
Zu, try not to give your boy too much fishball or hotdog cos too much MSG. Another method is to buy fish fillet frm market and make your own fishball though a little troublesome.

Yah..i'm going to invest on juicer on my next bonus. And then i can make smoothie etc.. He's very picky on fruits..so those fruits he don't like to eat, i'll blend it.

i pernah buat sendiri. Just buy ikan. scrap out the meat and then mix with flour. Though your own fishball doesn't really look like fishballs on the market lah... pattern dia tak round sangat. But it's more healthy!

I actually ever brought my students to the poly just to learn how to make fishballs.. hahaha That was few years ago lah. Can't remember how they made them rounder and bouncier... Nanti won't appreciate value of giving.
Anyway, his bday is on 23/4. So, exactly a months time. Kakak dia yang terribly excited and counting down each day. Maklumlah, mak dia janji kalau dah turn 6 baru boleh have her ears pierced. Anyway, raincoat takde. Tapi kalau I jumpa, I will msg you, k?

Today I read something in the straits times that made me sad or more so scared. Its abt this guy, a waiter (malay) who was sentenced to jail bec he had "unnatural sex" with an underage girl. sekarang memeang banyak la kes macam gini.

I tak sedih pat dia masuk jail, but if u read the report, i heran dgn the girl's behaviour... ape saje yg dalam kepala otak budak budak ni sekarang..ish ish ish.. dulu i ingat i dah jahat la.. tapi dorang sekarang over punye jahat.. scared la like dat

Briefly the report is like this, this guy, 25 yo, met the 15 yo girl on line.. berchat la. then they start to call each other, he even top up her phone pre paid card. Then within a few days they know each other, they met up and go to a hotel in geylang....!!! on the first meeting!!! Maybe I am kuno la.. but i'd rather be labelled Kuno then berani macam budak tu. Then this fella insist nak jumpe the girl but she tak nak (personally i think bec the fella tak hot la). Then he threathen to call her home, she scared she report polis.

So the question is... when the guy bawak dia pegi hotel kat geylang tu, what was she thinking?? Did she thing that he was going to show her the water feature at the lobby???? Duh...

Lets not talk abt her religious values, what abt her moral values???? Personally i think the girl pun patut get some punishment.

So mommies.. lets ensure that keturnan kite jgn macam gini la.... bear in mind. How to? I dun know yet, what with the information and exposure that our youngstersn have. Be vigilant. Insya'Allah kite pray hard that this does not happen to our young.
 
Sharena, yup. Smlm i pi Botanic Gdns lagi. i intend bawak Adam pi sana at least seminggu skali. Kesian dia ter-cooped up pat rmh. hahaha... But personally i prefer pi zoo, cos lagi dekat. Cume tak tau lar pasal, everytym pi sana, balik mesti penat gila!

nora, i tink its v common nowadays. i ada dgr few weeks ago nye straits times ada berita sal budak P3 da pregnant. korang ade baca tak? tu lagi serius! seram sejuk bile dgr. haiz! dunia nye crite. macam2!

i agree with you lah! i admit i am not very religious, but then i still have moral values! sometimes, i see youngsters nowadays, regardless of their race or religion, dunno wat happened to their moral values lah! also dunno who to blame, parents, or schools or society in general. sometimes hubby and i go out, and see the way the youngsters behave in public, we also become speechless. some of them macam tak ada maruah...dunno whether it's normal behaviour or we all getting very old! dulu i pun ingat i ni jahat, but at most i go out after sch with friends just go mac's to eat, and never inform my mum! pasal meeting boys online and then going to geylang hotel lah, ini semua tak pernah enter my mind, esp at that age! in fact, i only had my 1st boyfriend at 18yrs old, itupun he ended up becoming my hubby...

Busy lah wt the BP yg I organise...tu pun kena 'shut down!' *headache*

Lepas tu, these last few days, my lower back aching so terribly. Sometimes, come & go lah. Dah lepas gosok minyal, slalu ok. This time, its persistent. Even when I am standing, I can feel the pain.

Cld this be the effect of epidural? I only had epidural wt my twin boys dah 2 yrs ago also...Haiz, tk habis habis the pain we go thru!

Gathering: Ya lah, I sampai pukul 4.15pm, ingatkan dah lambat sangat lah. Then brought my kids to the field as usual skali rupanya the rest pun lambat! But we stayed quite long after we met finally, think till abt 7pm right?

After the gathering, we jalan lah sampai Tanglin Mall for dinner then got flea market...apa lagi, this mummy spent another hr 'window shopping"

Kalau you anytime pergi Botanics, tell me lah. I pun at least once a weekday, will take my boys there in the morning abt 10. Let them loose on the fields, i bacalah magazine. Then after we feed the fish, tortoises at swan lake. Sure adam will like that!
