hi notty.. how's yr raya weekend.. sibuk keluar or terima tamu?

i managed some rest yesterday - no visiting and no visitors.

dah terima tamu since on 1st day..inlaws all came over...

notty, yeah HR is normally very tiring period but filled with so much fun.. my place usually dah after 2 wkn raya baru ada tamu..

athlete, this morning i pon memang tak nampak ramai muka Melayu on the way to work, semua masih cuti-cuti gak nyer.. yg pegi keje tu pon muka toya - masih mood cuti!

stay umah pon stress, hahaa..cukup lah 3 hari, lagi lama pon pening bila masuk kerja nnt..Alhamdullilah only 22 emels to clear, and job all cleared for today..so I'm so free now!

Lagi lama, lagi berlambak kerja kat office.
Jln raya penat, but yes quite fun lah.

kerja mkn aje, almost suma umah mkn..i mkn sikit2 jadi dpt rasa suma masakan org..nak lost weight punye susah, nak gain punyelah senang..hahahaa

samalah, semua rumah, makan sikit-sikit.
sambil makan, sambil dengar makcik2 comment, "wah, you dah kurus sikit eh, lepas puasa".
tak jadi nak makan banyak-banyak. hehe
 
i feel same way too.. 3 days is just nice, kalau cuti niari pon most likely to rest cos kids are back to school.

"nak lost weight punye susah, nak gain punyelah senang..hahahaa"
i was just thinking - i lost 4.5kg during ramadhan.. pas tu last 3 days aje dah gain half kg.. kek&kueh punyer pasal ah ni!

malam raya, my hb and sis beli bunga api ajak my boy main.
he kept wanting to hold it, but bila tak kasi, he became uninterested.

Tis yr tk best sgt cz my hub side tk ramai yg alik kmpg .Yg seronok pat umah my mil suasana raya pat kmpg best sekali...my kids kesukaan main bunga api sampai tangan melecur...

On 25th sept i buat raya open hse cum bday party & wedding anivessary frm 2-8pm jemput ya...
 
tania, wah suasana raya kat kampung memang best.. i miss those days when my parents would alternate sambut raya in sg and jb, we had wonderful memories of celebrating raya in kampung

kalau u jemput bangsa lain...dorang appreciate lontong and lauk pauknye..

kalau org kita, ada dah jelak dgn lontong..u can consider sabsuka, kacang phool, kari with bread / roti kirai..
 
jina, sorry don't know of any.. yeah from agency normally are reject ones. next 2 weeks should have fresh batch of maid from indo as they always bring in after raya. good luck!

for me i like to prep simple and go away from the lauk raya which very overdosed already
- mee soto or mee hoon goreng putih (kids can eat too) and if ada time i will prepare something spicy like macaroni goreng + satay goreng, order kueh talam + epok2 and also some fruits.

but if ada tamu yg bukan melayu normally they will look fwd to lauk raya so i have include lontong + rendang ayam on top of mee hoon so that guests can have some choices.

i have bread ngan rendang (belen raya).. malas nak kluar, so hot outside.

re: open house menu
my non-malay friends semua tak reti makan lontong and the lauk-pauk.
so when i have them over, the past few years masak one of these:
- kari n roti jala
- gado gado
- mee siam + fried chicken
- nasi ayam
tania, ni kasi u idea menu also.
hehe.

yeah ade orang...ingat sunyi sepi...masih mood raye al-maklum...
