Morning ladies.
Wati, I'm missing the 'watching DVDs while lazing @home' part. Dah setahun kita tak buat gitu cos this is not our home. One of our favourite pastimes kalau kita malas nak keluar rumah. Now can count for this whole year, berapa kali we were actually at home on weekends.

Athlete, actually you can visit any fire stations on Saturdays from 9-12, kalau tak silap. Brought my boys to the BB Fire Station before but I believe the museum has more things to see. It's at Central Fire Station, the one near ROMM.

Today's my mom's birthday. Last minute ajak dia jalan jalan gi Bugis pulak. Hehe.

We just bought a fire station from lego/duplo for adam & it's really one cool toy. Can fix it anyway up to yr imagination & it still works well! Pagi2 bangun aje my son would look for the fire-jin!

Mira.. Holiday not for me. Year end nak planning for my mum and hubby surprise party. As usual, pampering for my mum and then maybe hotel stay with my hubby and maya. Tu jer..See how.. My biggest holiday planning is London/Paris/Rome..tgk lah keadaan kocek. Insyallah.

Yups, ask him ! My hubby is a beef fan. I wished he was a fish fan. Semalam gi pasar, nampak kepala ikan duri murah - only $6! Rasa cam nak beli aje masak asam pedas.

like that time i asked my fren to buy the jumperoo for me cos it was only abt SG$150 on sale.

not yet. my elder daughter is siting for "O" level exam starting from 26/10/09 Monday and end around 10 Nov 2009. My P2 boy exam starts around early Nov. Only 2nd and 3rd daughter finish the exam.

All take Malay as 2nd lang.

My daughter feel most of the subject in PSLE is difficult. even the Malay paper. Now, just wait for result...hopefully she can make it to "express" stream.

You are right but the market in the singapore is smaller so orders make will be limited but in their countries the market is much bigger... Import to Singapore 1 container maybe to them 3 or more container.... I think that also effect the prices.

Tempat i nie multicultural. Too bad you all takder experience werking with Myanmar worker. Boleh gila ah.

1) They can't speak or understand english well. Solution : You have to speak simple english. The basics.

2) They think that their UNIVERSITY is world class. And they think that coming to Singapore for 1st time, straight away nak kerja jadi manager. Stupid lor. Cos she can't even read the advertisement right. We asked for Admin Asst. Hello ?!!!

3) For this colleague of mine, she only talks to people who is setaraf dgn dia. Kalau ada general workers like those China / Indian / Banglah workers come to our office to mintak doctor chit.. dia buat bodoh jer.. tak nak talk to them. Then these production workers kalau nak mintak photocopy papers ker aper kan... dia buat bodoh jer... then these workers terpaksa just stand around until i come to the rescue.

4) Fax machine / Printer got paper stuck pun panggil aku or anybody to do it. To her it's degrading to do a technician job. Tpai kalau boss paper stuck, bukan main dia tolong...

5) Then when she did something which i know the solution, our superior will ask me to teach her how to do. Member tak boleh terima ah.. To her im smarter then her and dia mcm tak bleh terima instruction like tat. So now im keeping quiet all the way. Dia susah, dia punyer pasal.. biar boss i tahu yg selama nie, buat kerja nie adalah aku.. and not this stupid bimbo.

We have a few Myanmars in the office. Ada satu girl tu baru dinaikkan pangkat to Engineer. Terus si bimbo sebelah aku nie tak berbual to her. Mcm jealous gitu lah..

After almost 45 mins i gave up, just put him down.
Now he's busy crawling and playing away...
Mak dia yg penat.
Dahlah kena kerja nite "shift"..
But siang kat rumah tak boleh rest.
My mother tengok I ada kat rumah, dgn pantas dah menghilang!

When I started working from home in the mornings after returning from my 1st maternity leave, it
did get a bit lonely &amp; I missed those toa payoh trawling sessions.
but later on i started working full days on some day and got some time off during lunch.
Made quite a difference lah.
