Tumpang tanya. Since this is my 1st time having a fresh maid, I wana ask your opinions esp for those yg ada pembantu.

Semalam I orientate her w/o hubby. She asked if she want to keep in touch with her family, can she write in to them etc..

As for us, I'm ok BUT I received feedbacks saying that I should know the contents + if there's a letter for her from her family, I should read too.

Is it right or wrong?</font>

Last time my agent advise me not to allow them to write or call till after 3 months she work for you. I think you need times to know her first.
Reading the letter, to me. I will not read the letter to show her my respect.

yes its good to only allow them to call or write back to home aft 3-6mths with u, jus tell her ill monitor how is ur behaviour then only ill allow u to contact ur family.. coz dorang ni once dah in contact with e family habis lah.. susah nanti pat sini termenung je asik pikirkan kesusahan family back there, as for our 1st &amp; previous maid, we scan thru her letter out &amp; in then only we passed to her bt since e family keep minta2 duit dari dia we kept from her ah coz kita tak nak dia keep thingking abt them, coz this was done by my MIL ah, ni skg pun act dah minta permission nak call back home bt i told her to ask MIL's permission &amp; also depend on her attitude how</font>

nak tanya, your boy on promil ada good weight gain tak?
cos my boy ni is a bit of a lightweight.
i was actually looking for formula to help weight gain.

my boy has been on wyeth since born.
i b'feed him until 12 months, and when milk not enough, he took S-26 (0-6mths) and Promil (6-12mths). now he's 16 mths and on Progress.

pasal weight gain...i think it's very subjective. my son ikut abi dia, tall and skinny. everytime ada check-up, his weight will fall into the 50th percentile, tak pernah 75 percentile. tapi height will reach 75 percentile.

my sister pun beranak one day after me, so my son has a "twin". so everyone always compare between the two of them. my son is 9 hours older, but his cousin is already wearing 2yr old clothes, when he can still fit in his 12mths old clothes.

but i tak kisah, so long as doctor says he's healthy, i'm ok. budak gemz sangat pun affect his energy level...and patahlah pinggang aku ooi...kalau nak dokong dia.

how much do u want you boy to put on? how old is he?

my boy is 7.5 mths now.
height and weight only at 25 percentile.
actually pd says it's ok cos, 1stly he was born small, and as long as he's healthy and developing well, i shouldn't worry.

like you, my son also has a "twin", my cousin gave birth exactly 2 weeks before me, and her daughter's quite a heavyweight... so ya lah, the comparison is there also...

memang cam tu eh? orang tua suka compare compare.

i think if the doc says you boy is healthy and developing well, then u tak payah worry jer. you have started him on solids, right? he may gain a bit from the solids, but at the same time, when he starts crawling/walking, we will burn more also. : )

yes, he's on solids 2x a day.
and pd prescribed him with some multivit also.
i used to be sooo concerned abt his weight, but now, slowly letting it go...
as long as healthy and normal sudah, alhamudullilah.

Tried posting a few times today tapi asyik error msg yang keluar sampai dah hilang idea nak post. Smalldreams, thanks for putting the link up. Will ask my husband whether it's feasible to go cos we will come back from HK on 4th Dec. Takut penat next day and on the 6th, the husband masuk SC Marathon pulak. My boys fave Thomas and Friends.

But just to check with you all your younger sibling ada tak minta maaf like the yearly routine. From the oldest to the youngest. And do you do it with the in laws also?

For my own family...yes kita ada mintak maaf adik-beradik ...beratur... but not with in-laws.

My in-laws pun tak dtg my house.. My 1st day at my in-laws will only be me &amp; hubby salam parents dia jer.. adik2 dia sumer tido.. duh...

My own family is different... beratur mintak maaf.. Start with my mum to my dad, then me and hubby to my parents, then my siblings to us..
